Thank you! You guys are really nice. The plants look great, buds look like proper buds, and I am very happy with that! Especially since we are less than 85 days from planting now, and I already have 2 of them dried to smoke on, and 2 of them hanging to dry, with all the rest to come down in about 2 to 4 days.
But, I am already thinkining further. This thread also shows that you can get a failed start grow mostly back on track, and that plants are quite resilient. I must say I am happy with Urban Legends auto, and the fact I never seen a pollen cluster or non-auto flowering plant from their packs is actually very nice. At same time, my thread also shows better results can be had. Cause i only managed to use light at 2/3 power, and my plants been deficient for at least a third of their life.
I will post some pics of the last 5 plants standing in a day or 2..
Peace and puffs, brothers and sisters! Thank you all for checking my thread!

Great job dude. Not easy putting the train back on the tracks!

Whats the smoke like? :smoke:

And what might you do differently next time?

Thank you for coming by and sharing some love! 🤗

The smoke is nice, will do some smoke reports once we get to dry bud shots. At this time I haven't even tried the Mandarines.. for now I can say for sure this is the best auto smoke I ever had. Resin comes off from buds when I grind them or even when breaking them down with scissors. A joint of any of the light exposed tops or side tops is like puffing bud with extra kief. I am so happy to get this quality of bud from a grow that I almost belive it was failed or failing fast!! You will see the beauty of those buds once they dry and I put the dslr on them for pictures. For now the dried bud snaps been with the phone.

For sure I will try a round without compost, in just coco next time. But, what I would do better in this case is, as I said before, install better plant suport and leave more space under the canopy. The fact that I would fix and monitor ph from the start I think goes without saying. Also the feeding will be improved. Next time I will mix my own nutes, for better control over feeding, I will monitor ph and ec/tds from the start, and see if I can end up better. Once I learn proper ratios and levels for feeding, I will automate the watering/feeding and will probably just sit around and look at the plants instead of working on them.

any of those autos have a chem profile?im looking for a chem auto

I've never had a real Chem.. but no' I don't think this is chem like. The Auto Killer Cookie kinda sweet-frutty.. and (BTW), a real killer that left me sleeping in the couch for 2 nights already.

Forgot to say today they received last watering, 280 ppm @ PH6.3, just some cal mag and PK, and runoff was 440 ppm @ PH 6.5. So they ate a lot of what was in the soil. Still higher than I wished but I still suspect the compost is the culprit.

Am I being daft here? I thought that ppm of runoff should be lower than the input by this stage, as the compost had been pretty much drained of nutrients?? How come it is higher? (ie, where is the extra coming from...)

Remember.. we started at 1200+ ppm runoff. Soil seems to hold its charge.. runoff always been higher than input. I was mostly trying to coreect ph and give needed nutes, cause I had no chance to wash all the nutes from the soil..
At least this is my view of it. If it was mostly hydroxyl, then it would continue to rise. And it doesn't. It just keep beeing a bit higher than input. Maybe be a bit of both, have no ideea. I hope i will make coco work so i never have to wonder about things like this..
I actually think extra N from soil is used now that I stopped feeding it since a week ago. So that would explain why it started to go under 600 ppm just recently..

Another factor that could add to the runoff ec is that each time i water a small quantity stays there and dries in the tray so that might add a bit as well.

I have been fooled by the old run-off residue left in the drain tray. To get a true reading I have to clean the trays each time. 😎

Thank you, man! Yeah, I want to use same system, but maybe made a different controller for watering. The vpd one had already too many things to display and control and would get too hard to control and/or set up if I continue to add functions to it.
I had a simple watering controller before on same type of logic boards, so I know how to do it and I probably have the hardware waiting as well, but I first need to figure out watering/feeding by hand, so I know what I want to automate and how.
