I didn't water it regularly at all, to be honest. I wanted to see how it does naturally in my environment. Yesterday was my first time watering it since I put it outside at the end of June.
I think they'll beef up much nicer if you did...but I'm not sure about your circumstances. Nothing is worse than carrying water into a spot😂

Oh, no doubt they would, for sure. It's planted in the same test field I'm using for the Guava Zi.
Since this is my first year trying Mango Lassi outside, I want to see how it does with hardly any interference from me. That means no water or food from me and only a little help with defoliation. It gives me a good baseline of what the plant's needs are.

This thing grows itself, based on my observations. very user and beginner friendly. I'm already excited to do an actual run outside next year, that I'll actually be hands on with.
If any friends ask me for clones next year, this is what they'll get.

Next year, the outdoor tests will be with the fastest flowering Sour I find this winter, between diesel IBL and melon, both from Karma. I hope I can find one that's fast enough to be climatized for my area and finish before mid-October.

Mango Lassi
42° Lat
Hit a gnarly drought the last two weeks. It just got water for the first time, when I took pictures. So, it's pretty drought resistant.
About 3 more weeks, I'd say
Lovely colored pistils, it makes flowers look really good, I hope it will be some good smoke for you; she looks great and close to maturity. You can't tell on your pics the plant had no water for weeks, that's a very though plant to thrive despite difficult grow conditions.
About Sour D there is a few faster flowering females than the average 11/12 weeks most of them need; The shortest flowering Sowahh I've found took 68 days to be ready, I have not seen anyone finding a female flowering in only 9 weeks but it also depends on how you like your trichomes to look like, I prefer to not have more than 10% amber so I might cut earlier than other growers. At lat42N I think you can get some Sour from Karma to maturity around mid-october, good luck for next year. I'd like to see a big plant of Sour D Bx growing outdoor.

9 weeks would be perfect, I hope I find it!
Phytosensitivity is the most important thing, at this latitude. I can grow cultivars that take 12 weeks to finish flowering, as long as they realize the days are getting shorter within a week or two of the summer solstice.
A 9 weeker won't do me any good if it doesn't start flowering until the end of August.

I'm a fan of waiting until 10%-20% amber and the rest cloudy. It seems to give the best results for me,. personally. A couple hits every hour or two and I'm good all day long.

Thanks for the info, I greatly appreciate it.

Hi guys, I find the Sour Lemon Mochi very appealing and I'd like to know if some of some of you have already grown those seeds? Please if you can share some pics and your thought on the finished product.
I know nothing about the Mochi used in the cross, what type of genetic is it ?
The genetic makeup is
Mochi x LemonTini X SourDBx2 it makes it 25% Mochi/ 12,5% Lemon Tree/ 62,5% Sour Diesel
I'm sure there is a lot of keepers in those seeds and the pics used to illustrate the cross are beautiful.

You'll be very happy with those seeds, it is still one of my favorite cross. You gonna have fun growing those seeds and even more fun smoking the flowers, it is a tasty treat with a powerful high.
I grew it for 7 years, from 2008 -2015.
Lost the mother . So I'm excited to get her back

Just curious about shipping time from old-school genetics to the US . My first order from there.

Can't wait to get those headbanger going!!

And here is the AppleB. High hopes for this one. Its a bit smaller cuz I vegged it 2 weeks shorter. I actually got half a pack of this for free when I bought the Mop Chopper. I might have to invest in a full pack if still available:)

(Sorry about the bad pics. Im a bad photographer thats just the way it is:)

Got this one as a freebie recently, are there any apple scents on those photogenic buds, by any chance?

Hi icmag growers,

Sour Diesel bx2 day 72 12/12. No nutes since day 63. Still lots of white pistils and still pushing new ones. I suspect them to go over 80 days...
Scent is pungent, Tires, hot brake pads, sliping clutch at high rpm, aftershave at first. Then sour with a little sweet that let your mouth water, like imagine a lemon.

Road Dawg Day 42 12/12
Exact same scent like the Sour Diesel bx2 at first, then chocolate or some strange candy from a foreign country. Addictive smell!

Where Is My Bike V2 Day 25+something 12/12
Normally its to early to share some pics, but this strain speaks to me in some kind. Smell is so fuck*ng nice! The resin smells like some candy soda from a fair. The smell from the buds is more like opening up a bucket of wallpaint. Starts to frost up early. Nice!

Have a nice Week everyone!

Naaaa, not in the single a grew. More like a hint of fruit and sweetness, but the Biker#081 really came through with rubber, kush and some good ol' "OG funk". Stoney indica high. I did prefer the high of Mop Chopper to the high of AppleB. Its was stronger, a bit more complex with a bit more sativa headiness in it. But it good night time smoke and the bag apeal is most def there...
