Actually they had no ties to white supremacists, but your governor does abuse her power. I'm glad I was able to get a garden going in Indiana considering that some governors didn't even let you buy seeds.

I guess I should be glad I order seeds as a hobby. I could probably have a big cannabis and vegetable garden every year for the rest of my life and not need to buy more. But I will continue.

No. My governor was trying to act in the best interest of her people at the advise of trained scientist and medical professionals.

They people arrested for plotting to kidnap her are a fine selection of the type of people we do not need making decisions for others. Scumbag extremest right wing white supremacist scum.

...... has anyone heard any advice from highly trained and well respected professional Economists????

NO? me either!

So either they all agree with the scientists/doctors or their opinions are being filtered out by the MSM.

Why? :whistling:

Indeed...acting in the best interest of her people....
When she sidesteps the legislative branch of government she breaks the very law of constitutional duty she has sworn to uphold....
Actually an impeachable offense...
So called trained scientist and medical professionals do not legislate state laws or its constitution....

All the folks I know who are Trump supporters are educated, well spoken, land owning retirees.
I suppose it comes down to the quality of individuals we choose to hang out with.
That's a lie there are no intelligent Trump supporters.

What's the big deal about high falutin words? Well spoken? OK. This battle is about socialism, and the haves NEVER want that.

Both socialism and communism place great value on creating a more equal society and removal of class privilege. The main difference is that socialism is compatible with democracy and liberty, whereas Communism involves creating an 'equal society' through an authoritarian state, which denies basic liberties.

Under communism, there is no such thing as private property. All property is communally owned, and each person receives a portion based on what they need. A strong central government—the state—controls all aspects of economic production, and provides citizens with their basic necessities, including food, housing, medical care and education.

By contrast, under socialism, individuals can still own property. But industrial production, or the chief means of generating wealth, is communally owned and managed by a democratically elected government.

Another key difference between socialism and communism is the means of achieving them. In communism, a violent revolution in which the workers rise up against the middle and upper classes is seen as an inevitable part of achieving a pure communist state. Socialism is a less rigid, more flexible ideology. Its adherents seek change and reform, but insist on making these changes through democratic processes within the existing social and political structure, not overthrowing that structure.

Likewise, no country in history has achieved a state of pure socialism. Even countries that are considered by some people to be socialist states, like Norway, Sweden and Denmark, have successful capitalist sectors and follow policies that are largely aligned with social democracy. Many European and Latin American countries have adopted socialist programs (such as free college tuition, universal health care and subsidized child care) and even elected socialist leaders, with varying levels of success.

In the United States, socialism has not historically enjoyed as much success as a political movement. Its peak came in 1912, when Socialist Party presidential candidate Eugene V. Debs won 6 percent of the vote. But at the same time, U.S. programs once considered socialist, such as Medicare and Social Security, have been integrated into American life.

Two New York Post employees told The New York Times that the primary author of its Wednesday Hunter Biden article, whose veracity three news organizations have been unable to independently verify, refused to appear on the byline. The sources also said Gabrielle Fonrouge, one of the article’s two named authors, did little of its reporting and writing and was unaware of her byline until after its publication. The other named author, Post deputy politics editor Emma-Jo Morris, did not have a byline in the newspaper until Wednesday’s article, according to the Times, and previously had publicly available Instagram photos with former Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani told the Times he went to the Post with the hard drive because “either nobody else would take it, or if they took it, they would spend all the time they could to try to contradict it before they put it out.”
The Post article suggests Democratic presidential candidate and former vice president Joe Biden used his foreign policy power to help his son Hunter in Ukraine financially while the elder Biden was in office. Two GOP Senate committee investigating the matter concluded last month that Biden’s vice presidency was a potential conflict of interest but found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing. The Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal were all unable to independently verify the data cited in the Post article.

Why don't any of my posts show up in this thread?

I have them listed in my posts and can see them in statistics/posts but when clicked on they are not in the thread.
