I'm not in favor of forcibly funded government schools. It goes against my religion, which I'm not allowed to fully practice, your "religion" won't let me.
It's not within my religious beliefs that it's okay to use or threaten force against people not doing the same to you. Your government / religion forces it on people or takes their house if they don't comply.

I prefer people weren't addicted to those drugs. I also prefer people weren't addicted to butting into other people lives with their godverment edicts, where disobedience can bring a smiting.
Please don't be a smiter here. Our freedom and safety here is protected by the military!
If you want to smite people, you could go to the middle east and toss gay people off roofs and maybe help the U.S. soldiers guard poppy fields or something like that.

It's against my religion to impose my beliefs on other people who are confining their activity to their own body etc. Even when I'd prefer they didn't do some things I don't like.

Since you want to oppress people, how come you haven't moved to a more oppressive place where you could use your religion / government to force people to comply with your edicts?

I happen to like it here. I believe this is still one of the greatest countries to live in. You don’t see me crying about being oppressed do you ?

I think there are some well meaning government school teachers who should be "allowed" to open their own schools and offer their services to those who freely want to buy them. Trump ending forcibly funded schools is a good thing, I'll be pleasantly surprised if that even happens though.
Unfortunately, Trump does not consistently come from a place of principle regarding forcing people to pay for things. He's good with using government to cause increases in some prices via tariffs and like you is okay killing some drug dealers, but not the big pharma drug dealers that contributed to his campaign. He likes them. He has a hot wife though, so he's got that going for him.
