Doesn't make any sense to me. Crooks typically go to prison.. Laws like this and many many others are there because people continue to vote for dumbass Dem/rep. All I see are dumbasses letting other dumbasses do the same shit over and over.

Exchange of goods and services is the natural order of commerce.
I don't think that Capitalism is quite the same. I fail to see what's natural about organisations who's sole reason for existence is to make money; that a very small number of us are wealthy and powerful beyond the wildest imagination, at the expense of others. Capitalism relies on competition, growth, and exploitation both of people and resources. Consumption of goods seems to be what drives people these days, and that comes from mass marketing rather than need.
From the perspective of the environment "fairytales of eternal economic growth" are impossible (Greta). Communism isn't the answer either as it also relies on economic growth.

I used to sell firewood with a partner. The sole reason was to make money. I had the truck. He had the saw. Our competitor only had a truck. Our organization made more money.

Corporations have power of production that’s lead to many improvements in our society. Vaccines being an example. ( Funny it’s the “capitalists” that don’t trust them.)
Corporations are what settled America.

What’s good for business is bad for labor. An effective government is an interface between the two.

Like when everyone was saying they weren't voting for Biden, but against Trump? Dumbasses? Who should they have voted for? The politicians don't seem to be dumbasses...it's working real well for them.

Its never ending. It leaves many with no choice but to continue the failed 2 party cycle. I didn't vote for Trump or Hillery when this fucked up cycle started. WE CAN ONLY BLAME OURSELVES FOR THIS BS. At least I can say I've tried many times to get rid of both Dem/rep.

you can give a shit-pot every year and pay no taxes on it. over a certain amount, they have to pony up taxes. i feel SO bad that millionaires have to pay taxes just like the little people... (crocodile tears here)

the annual gift tax exclusion for family stands at $15,000. I DONT CALL THIS A SHIT POT LOL.
This aint about rich people. They just use off shore accounts. My family aint rich at all but the gov will take part of my parents assets.

per person in the family most states, i think. multiplied by years. (what my grandparents did) not sure on dollar amount. here, your parents can add you on deeds and bank accounts etc a certain number of years before death & you pay no inheritance taxes.

Lets face it Cannovore - all politicians puppet for the big corporations and moneymen - if they don't they are either dead-meat and/or don't get the votes - due to lack of media coverage - also controlled by the big corps and banksters -

not always true,as someone said, all politics is ultimately local,i talk to city and state level office holders frequently, mayor, city council, state reps...so on the micro level of local politics they seem to be straight shooters....while their "power" may be limited in scope the policy choices they make have a very direct effect on my life. but it's easy to have normal conversations with them and have some sway over what policies they pursue and how

- ya - but those local - city and state level politicians don't get to be on the central global stage - without the nod and support of the big corps and banksters - and to do that - they all have to play Pinocchio - if they have any hope of survival -
