Yes. We were in a full blown pandemic magnified by lack of concern. It has carried over. The numbers are coming down even with the new variants.

Whats Bernie doing about it? What would he have done different? We are better off.

-Raise the minimum wage
-Medicare for All
-More stimulus checks
-Dont kick 16+ million off unemployment like Biden did
-Dont end student loan debt forgiveness in a pandemic
-Free rapid home test kits
-Pay people to stay home like nearly every other major country did
-Contact tracing
-Fire Fauci
-Universal mask mandate
-Send everyone masks through the post office
-Close schools
-Not do vaccine apartheid like Biden is
-Not have a $7.6 trillion dollar military budget
-Not do a Medicare premium cost hike in a pandemic
- Not end the Child tax credit program in a pandemic

He wasn't the nominee because most people who vote Democrat aren't "First Order Thinking" like yourself. They have what's called "Second Order Thinking".

First Order Thinking.
-"What candidate do I agree with the most? That's who I am voting for".

Second Order Thinking.
-Most of the Democratic candidates are pretty much the same.
-Who has the best chance of winning?
-Who has the best chance of putting the coalition of people together to pass the things I believe in?
-While I may agree more with one candidate I don't think they have what it takes to pass anything.

I have no emotional attachment to Biden other then I believed he had a better chance of beating Trump then Bernie did. Being a Fan Boy that you are for Bernie you have all this emotional attachment to your candidate so you think us Biden voters feel the same way. We don't. Should haves don’t count. The winners make the rules. Bernie didn’t win. He didn’t have the votes. He didn’t have the support. My neighbor has great ideas, but you know. Perhaps next time instead of donating money while doing nothing and blaming the rest of us (like a good capitalist), get out on the campaign trail. Change doesn’t come from donations. It comes from work.

If Bernie was a strong candidate, he would have won regardless. In the 2016 primaries Republicans in office trashed Trump, candidates dropped out trying to swing support a different direction, even Fox News said he couldn't win. Trump came out on top, Bernie lost, time to get over it comrade.
