I wouldnt care for say 20 percent of wild`ish tendencies as a endconsumer, i can grow quantity, space is the easiest to provide for me, compared its seems to be hard to Regenerate a lost Trait. I will probably, like said, cull the 20 percent wildìsh plants for to not risk my open pollinations to become to wild .

Thats what i heard too: wild`ish, or call it hempy Plants endangering further open reproductions, thats why in my minimal-selection highnumbered open pollinations i will cull estimated 20 Percent dangerous wild`ish Plants. I wouldnt have a Problem having the wild Plants in my Consumer-seebatch, i can just grow high numbers, smoke occasional. but they can endanger open pollinations to become wildish, thats why.

Hey Roms, I have two questions that might help me with my future sativa reproduction goals. How tall are your plants and what size of containers are they in? I am going to do a seed reproduction of either vintage accapulco gold or vintage colombian gold and am trying to strategize how many specimens I can fit in my limited space. Thanks Roms!

All is possible you know but with different results. My grow is extrem with onebud in tall 0.20 gallon pots lol no joke. Seeds are only on apex, and only 20/30 seeds per plant re lol! It's my first time like that, in principle it's more 200 seeds per plant! In the other hand i simply have more specimens and more genes! Crazy grow only for genes diversity.

Limit the pot size during the stretch. Let them go as long as you can stand it and till they get most of their stretch over then transplant to a bigger pot for last 2 month or so flowering.
I go from 1 gallon to 5 gallon and they end up about 6-7' but also trim up the bottom because the have long branches.

Sounds like some great ideas! I was thinking along those lines. Thanks! Very encouraging.

Big up Randy, well said! :D

I start to harvest the F1s with Mazar (Mazajam) left and Sweet Tooth #4 (Jamaican Tooth). The pure Jams need two more weeks to well mature... ;)

With the help of Kush Kloud a good part of the F6s will be shared with @Machelemanuel to go back to Jamaica and in good hands. Also another rasta conscious friend and rural grower from St Vincent will receive some of them before spring. Irie! Bonne année bonne santé à toutes et tous!

I love that they will be sent to Jamaica! As a community, we should do what we can to bring rare heirlooms back to their original localities. Much respect!

Thanks Cvh, El Timbo,

By hoping more guys will try, so many things to save and preserve nowadays. Anyway i think the future will shine for landraces in each lands where it grows naturally.!

Ten years ago few people believed it but it is starting to get better these days. The Vibes Collective is still alive!

This is so exciting!

I truly believe that this sort of preservation work is the most important thing we can do in this community.

Certainly, novel crosses and IBLs can be very useful for providing folks in different climates or indoor setups with more options in regards to quality of high, potency, terpene profiles. Etc, but these landraces are the starting point for every worked line out there and without them, we'd just be recombining the same stew of skunk, nl5, og, and if we're lucky, haze. I'm so glad somd of these seeds will be finding their way back home to jamaica.

Fantastic work Roms. Thank you. You're an asset to the community.

Merci Djimb, i'm glad that those few hundreds seeds and its return in situ represents a kind of philosophy that makes people think. The idea is even more important than the action itself imho. By knowing that this Lambsbread is still there in the hills of Jah, rare but still present! As most other origins strains nowadays, they' are alive but in danger! Our selected work will be simply re combine to the great tropical outdoor.

The most important thing is that it can inspîre growers more and more. I mean in this way you also can understand better the whole range of the cannabis diversity, in terms of stature but also in terms of effects and terpenes.

A large part of the current market descends from OG/Skunk/NL/Blueberry/Haze and despite the large range of specimens win it also represents a low proportion of what cannabis can bring! The another idea is to be able to recreate differently those types of declinations and develop news things etc.

So paradoxically i think that even with a micro space a grower can do macro actions with landraces/heirlooms, but despite everything and at first we have to select, reproduce, and share the pure form. And F1ing btw!
