I learned that blacks rape white people in big numbers in prison. I think that sort of balances our recent history. Raping people should not be accepted, even by criminals. I think it's important criminals follow a code of honor and raping people is not the way to go. This is destroying souls.

Buddy, I quoted exactly what you said, verbatim. If you don't want to come off like an ignorant neo-nazi you probably should avoid saying things like "there is no place for white people to have a place of their own" and "blacks raping white people in prison totally evens us out on that whole slavery thing" (take note...that one was paraphrased). tragic situation, from everything i've read the worst part is that the cop is probably innocent strictly according to the law. remember all it takes for a cop to legally murder you is that he is afraid for his safety. try disproving that someone was in fear. it's pretty much impossible.
but other then that the forensics show that he was clearly charging when he was hit with at least some of the shots. so even though he had his hands up apparently, he was aproaching the officer. this makes it easy to say he was in fear.
what we really need is a change in the laws that allow cops to kill more people then terrorists do every year in the US. a cop should have to show reasonable grounds for his fear for it to be a legit reason to fire his weapon. as things stand now the jury has no real choice, even if they were all black. the letter of the law is on the cops side.
the only way this jury can come up with a different ruling is by jury nullification, where by they decide that the law protecting the cop is not fair or just in this case, but i'm not sure they can do this at this stage, as it's not the main trail, just the decision to prosecute or not.
if you think about the mentally ill, the homeless guy and many others who got shot even while complying recently, all with never one officer getting in trouble for it, makes you realize that US cops have a license to shoot people and not get in trouble for it under most circumstances.

I heard today that now it's going to be Sunday at around 5pm, after the weekend is basically over. It's also supposed to rain so they probably think that will help keep people inside, and the kids will not be in school, which has been a big concern. Still speculative at this point though.
Pretty scary though because they must think it's going to be bad after mobilizing the national guard, and about 100 additional FBI agents are here, and the ATF. Plus the president of the united states spoke out about last night as well.

Honestly it was and still is a pretty disgusting display of ignorance all the way around. God knows cops are out of control in a lot of ways, but this was a shitshow from day one with the bullshit "eyewitness accounts" and looting/rioting for the sake of causing trouble. Claiming that the kid was a boy scout and was executed while kneeling with his hands up...give me a fucking break. The dude had just finished assaulting a store clerk after he got done stealing from the store, let's stop pretending like he had stopped in to the convenience store for a snapple on the way to church.
Basically, everybody who grabbed the pitchforks and torches and supported a violent upheaval without even a shred of evidence one way or the other are, simply put, thugs with a mob mentality, not people in search of truth and justice as they have claimed time and time again.
To be painfully clear, I don't support or denounce anybody in this situation because all I have are third party facts and I still don't think the smoke has cleared enough (figuratively or literally) to know how accurate those facts are yet. I can say, however, that those of were in support of a public lynching of the cop and went as far as to put out death threats and bounties on him before any factual, unbiased information was available are dangerously ignorant and should be ashamed of themselves. The folks who were okay with that regardless of Wilson's guilt simply because he was a figurehead for police corruption in general are measurably worse.
Again, a lot of cops are really screwing the pooch in terms of gaining and keeping the trust of the public, but in my opinion it is never right or just to crucify someone for the sins of his peers without direct evidence of his own personal involvement in wrongdoing. I'm sure a lot of people here disagree wholeheartedly and would say "string 'em all up!" but that's just not how justice works.

cops have all kinds of other stuff to subdue an unwilling person than a gun nowadays....ok they got killer sprays {don't ask how I know}and stun guns..also rubber bullets,bean bag bullets ect....he could of pulled a stun gun and fired just as easily as a real gun.....just sayin....as far as I am concerned police have too much power.. with todays technology all should have cameras recording everything and those recording should be available to the public without bullshit..total transparency....when those in power abuse it they should be punished 2x the normal sentence....end of story...till that happens shit will always be fucked up
What's messed up is that these people are all raving about how wrong the cop was, which I basically agree with. What they are doing though is also very wrong and their justification is far less then what the cop had.
I do agree that once the Brown was away from the cop car and with his hands up the cop shouldn't have come up from behind and put a bullet in his head. Yet none of it would have happened had Brown not swiped a box of cigars from the nearby convenience store. Not that Brown deserved to be shot for that but all of us have to suffer the fates dictated by our actions.
Still none of that either the cop's wrong doings or Brown's justify the rioting, looting and destruction that has been going on for the past three months now.
That's more or less what I'm scratching my head about, I mean why have a stun gun that was designed just for guys like Brown if the cops aren't going to use it?
its about making a statement ,fear,abusing power.ect....I have been shot at by cops when I was a kid even...luckily I am still here......I aint saying no more..all I am saying is they have options other than bullets that can be deployed just as quickly....somewhere in nv or nm we are being watched...lol... to them I say fuck you...we aint all sheep and I use public access...

None of what happened has anything to do with what happened at the store. The cop did not know about the store incident at the time of the shooting.
The one article that said that Wilson claimed he went back after Brown because of the store incident has since been withdrawn.

I hear it's pushed back to at least Monday now. I went out last night to the light show at the botanical gardens and had dinner on the hill, and things seemed pretty normal. I have seen convoys of national guard though. Just a waiting game.
