No comment on his posts yet -- haven't gone all the way through the thread yet. But -- this kind of comment always absolutely kills me. You guys realize that millions upon millions of people all over the world smoke pot and that there is not one particular worldview or set of beliefs that you have to espouse in order to use cannabis, right? It's incredibly presumptuous and ignorant to assume that in order to grow or use pot you need to have a certain sociopolitical stance and there is no room to have a dissenting opinion. Not everybody who smokes weed or grows or is a dedicated member of the community wears Birkenstocks and is anti-establishment all the way, some of us actually have successful professional lives while simultaneously enjoying the plant. Seems an awful lot like the opposite of what we're all going for, yeah?

this is not a black vs. white discussion to begin with... this is about leo using more force than needed to control an unruly civilian.
rest assured that if the unruly civilian that got killed by leo was white and the officer was white as well, it'd be as troublesome as it is now.
and I'm not demonizing anyone with the little picture I posted, specially when TNT states that the Jews control people and that he's not a nazi but a Christian, can't help but LOL at that...

This thread makes my head hurt. Hard to believe there can be so many different opinions about the same event. I guess that is what happens when people have their own agenda. So sad.

If you're just going to post this drivel and not actually contribute you have managed to not only provide nothing to the discussion, you have taken away from it. You didn't get pulled into anything, you came into this thread of your own volition and posted an extremely vague comment and now are running away when given the opportunity to explain yourself. Nicely done, really. In other parts of the internet, that would be called "trolling."
This is a discussion forum and the heart of it, aside from the wealth of information available, is the ability for all of us to provide our opinions and then discuss them intelligently and respectfully as adults. With the exception of one member who is a fan of the hands-over-the-ears "lalalala I can't hear you" strategy of argument, nobody is taking anything personally.

Michael Brown was a thug.
He tried to attack a police officer after a strong arm robbery.
He was killed because he was a thug, not because he was black.
I believe there will be no indictment, because of lack of proof there was wrong doing.
I believe the militarization of police is a problem, but this isn't a good example of this problem.
I also believe there are sooooooo many stupid low information people out there, they will believe whatever their news source, social media source, or friends tell them. They will never review the facts of the case, and never look at it subjectively.
There, now you can sleep at night.
