nevilss haze weak
i guess you never had a proper nevils haze
nevils haze from greenhouse coffeshop is the strongest weed i have ever smoked
more trippy and devastating than most buble you will find in dam
have you ever grown any mr nice or pre franco haze

We have NEVER grown Neville's Haze,, but have flowered 100's of Haze #19 x Skunk #1 from Wernards stock ,, sowed 1000s of them in the past. After x500 females you kinda get a feeling for the 'Haze' side in the lineage. :bandit:

Other "Haze" varieties we've sampled include..

Nevilles Haze - from Greenhouse centrum Amsterdam,,
Nevilles Haze - from MNS.
Neville's Haze - from Black Label Seeds
Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 - from GHSco
Arjan's Ultra Haze #2 - from GHSco
Arjan's Haze #2 - from GHSco
Super Silver Haze - from MNS
Super Silver Haze - from GHSco
Super Silver Haze (fem.) - from GHSco
Super Silver Haze F2 - from fritillary co.
Haze - from HomegrownFantasy
Blue Haze - from HomegrownFantasy
Haze #19 x Skunk - from Nirvana BV
Haze #19 x Skunk - from HighQuality Seeds
NL#5 x Haze - from Sensi Seeds
Jack Herer - from Sensi Seeds
Amnesia - from Hypro

Plus many more... :D

N.B. As a kid we grew and smoked the following landrace varieties from seed: Jamaican - Malawi - Kenyan -Colombian - Mexican - Thai - and Indian :joint: Several of which share origin with Haze :joint:

Neville's Haze is a manageable version of Thai,, that's all IMO...
...so is SuperSilverHaze,, and we'd sooner be smoking that :D

was growing the haze, it was one of the characteristics of one of the four
varieties

your contributions are greatly appreciated

im hopin as im sure many others to hear full description of the four varieties to the best of your ability it would be helpful in understanding n tracing traits n lineage

Doc mate after reading this it shows me you have no clue when it comes to real f1 nevilles haze not only is nevilles haze far from manageable most phinos are far from fast infact they almost run as long as a thia plant would and if you think ssh then think of nevilles haze as a supercharged vertion of it with less to no stone lol.

indifferent you are guttless and spinles mate why not post what you sent me in here afrayed of showing your true side you really think i cear about what the likes of you think or have to say its clear as the sun liteing the planet you hate neville and reality is you wish you had achived what he has in his life time in the hobbie we all love so a fuck you very much mate in future show some balls and post it openly be a man.

This post is amazing i read people trying to rubbish neville and yet we have the main athoritys on haze here preaching there gosspil fact is the proof is in the seed and like it or not more people are growing nevilles haze lines around the world than any other seed companys put to geather FACT.

FWIW I have decided on a couple of strains, plus making a couple of hybrids. Not the 'I'll grow this one strain' that I started this thread looking for...

It will be faster than waiting for a consensus here...lol

Tom Hills Haze - because you all agree its a winner
Arjans Ultra Haze #2 - because of DocLeafs recommendation. But I'll pollinate it with an Afropips Malawi99 because I'd like to try the result.
MNS Nevilles Haze - Because I loved it last time.
And use my SDIBL to pollinate a Dr GT Kashmiri Resin Factory so I've got something with a relaxing happy high to kick back after work with.

Looks like good times ahead.

Why am I spineless or gutless? I'll say exactly what I said in the negative rep I gave you - you are one of the biggest trolls on the forums.

You bashing of anyone who dares say a word about Neville is friggin pitiful and the way you have attacked ot1 for so long is nothing more than pommie bashing. You aussies love nothing better than belittling us brits and I can't see any reason other than typical aussie-brit hostility for the venom you have poured out at ot1 and others.

Having a go at Raco is bang out of order too, all this from a man who can't even spell thai!

We've seen this in several landrace plants before,, and some cultivated varieties,, perhaps Haze, PPPxMenage Trois, Apollo 13 or Amnesia ,, . sorry cant exactly remember which ones :joint:

Arjans Ultra Haze #2 - because of DocLeafs recommendation.

= Nevilles Haze x Mango x Laos

The Laos specimens never seemed to flower,, but the N.Haze and Mango types where really nice plants  Several ppl we know grew these packs with sweet results under different conditions.

Funny you should say that Raco, Joe Pietri suspects the same thing.

Regardless of whatever else he was, Neville was a very smart businessman/marketeer, as evidenced by the stories around G13 and Haze. He obviously had in his posession some amazing sativa genes in the mid-late 80s and they became known as Hazes, but whether they really were or Neville just used his smart business brain to dream up the notion of calling them after the most famous sativa around. I mean, what's more marketable, the famous Haze or an unknown line from Australia?

I think Shantibaba said he was the guy who created Mullumbimby Madness and I think he said it was around 79-80, his first breeding foray.

I did find this quote from him from 2007on mrnice.nl:
To set the records straight from my knowledge...Mullumbimby Madness( or at least he version I refer to from my involvement from 1980's ) was more closer to Nevilles Haze than anything else in the MNS camp. It had absolutely nothing to do with the much later Widow family. The High Times or other journals may have report otherwise during the beginning of the Widow period based on hype and hysteria, but they are genetically unrelated according to me. I hope things are clearer now on this issue. If not then ask questions and I will deal with them soon.

And he said this in an interview:

I was working in Australia on varieties like Mullumbimby madness and Thai and Columbia strains of sativas, as well as a lot of original Afghan stock. When I came to Holland in 1990 with my seed stock I linked up with Nevil , and used Arjan’s coffeeshops to introduce strains of cannabis and a little later the seed versions, but we never gave any of the plants to him.

So is it a stretch to speculate that Neville's 'Haze' was from Australia, after all, hempy has been banging on about how many great sativas they had down under back in the 70s. That would be the ultimate irony, hempy spending all these years calling people names for slighting Neville and questioning his Haze story when all along the truth was Neville's Haze was thefinest from Australia, NOT the west coast of the US! lol

Yeah and Neville got alot of his breeding stock from Sam Skunkman who used to live next door to The Haze Brothers....go figure...

My head aches after reading all through this. Some interesting points.

All I know is the neville's haze I've grown were fabulous and I really enjoyed the high. Havn't had a smoke like it, some pheno's were a waste of time but thats it really.

As to the thread the best Haze from my experience is to be found at mr nice seeds. Bet anything with neville's Haze in the genetics would be exceptional, so I would try others like the mango haze etc.

Also I must admit that Original Haze from seedsman puts out some great pheno's, but it's a bit of a hunt....good for crossing.....That is Sam's Original Haze.

I have Mango Haze, Nev's Haze/Skunk, and La Nina all going right now. I will be putting a SSH clone in as soon as I have space. I got 14 jars of what I think is Mango Widow too!

I have been very pleased with Mr Nice Haze hybrids.

Nev's Skunk is gnarly. Stinks like a dead dirty hooker in full sunlight.

I just enjoy speculating, it's all good, clean fun as long as folks don't get upset and get nasty, right?

Yeah no need for any nastiness....I am sure that we all can agree to dissagree sometimes, without spewing mundane verbal profanity at each other.....

I have a Zoidfuel x Deep Chunk that bleeds red, Zoidfuel is a strain from Moonunit that is made up of Old School sativas collected from the east coast of Australia.

Dalaihempy you need to take it down, fact is regardless if there are more people growing nevilles haze, based on that supposed "fact" it does not mean it is the best haze. It simply means it is the most or probably oldest marketed/ advertised / well known version of haze.

Its an old saying. "One man's garbage is another man's treasure." Besides no one said nevilles haze was wack, or garbage so you are defending only your opinion, which is simply.- You just think its the best haze, and most others feel different. I am sure we all have very different thc tolerance levels, and that would affect what one thinks as a great smoke versus another person's average or mediocre smoke.

Hey if nevilles haze is the best for you thats great, fact is on this thread it is not the opinion of most. And majority rules regardless of truth, fact or not. So lets keep the ship sailing, all aboard for a smooth hazy ride.

Peace,
BT

nev haze bein aussie a joke

how there still claim bein made its far from probable

the nl5 haze n nl1 haze were created in 88 n the 87-88 stu pheno of nl5 n Doc Kevorkian is known for frankincense trait so it ends there

also interesting is the common spicy incene traits in nyc hazes coincide wit traits found in mns lines n the story is known that neville collected stock in nyc

soo im havin a real hard time believing that there is no connection wen im smokin my first nev of my life n each time im reminded of home of uptown washinton heights home of the haze .only haze ive experienced wit those traits of taste/aromas are the uptown hazes mns lines
som coincedince

doc leaf

i just qouted the post from HH of the red sap

im interested to hear full out detailed descriptions of the 4 varieties from happhi he's given us one report already

sams said original haze was the best his fav etc
according to HH that means the punto rojo cross that he claims original n bleeds red id lov to hear a report on this variety specifically

im also interersted to kno if the four varieties spoke of are from the first punto rojo cross or part of the later additions

shanti neva made claim to creating MM

obviously wen he states from my knowledge

of course he was growin it n brought it here its of legendary status

the comparison to nev is interesting but i think it becaz they are both dark spicy n mind blowin
