I would like to get the amounts of that tea mixture and what ratio used.

my tea is "inspired" by 3LB and preservation dude from CW. something like this:
for a 50 gallon resi,
10 cups alfalfa meal (this always seems like sooo much that i end up using less)
10 cups EWC
10 cups or less bat guano
(in veg more alfalfa, in flower more guano)
700 ml molasses
250 ml welcome harvest farm soluble kelp powder
liquid black crystal humus, as per instructions on the bottle
grozyme, " " " " "
AN tarantula and piranha, veg and first two weeks flower only.
i have been using brewers yeast (becuase there is yeast in LK, i think) but someone here suggested that it might turn my mix to alcohol :friends:
somtimes i add a bottle of iguana juice only becuase i had some given to me for free. the piranha was free too, but im almost out.[what kind of mycorhizzal fungi would you reccomend thats cheaper then piranha?}
i bubble for 48 hours at least, but the other day i just bubbled 24 because the plants were thirsty and i dont always have my shit together. the 20 gallons left in the resi is now very foamy, but wasnt when i used it.

i foliar fed some of this tea, but cut in half with water. i did that twice so far, with the tea sitting and aerating for a week, the unaerated stuff i left in the sprayer was stanky, but the aerated was sweet.

ive been feeding the tea in the soil once a week when the grow is in full swing, but plain water only on the third watering as a "flush." that habit is left over from my chemi growing days.

i usually quit feeding by week 5 of 12/12, definitly not after week 6. i almost always get deficiencies towards the end, but the product is lovely anway:joint:

are you going to use any kind of netting ?
i will be using bamboo stakes... i usually put them in sometime mid way through flower, but my plants are growing an inch or more a day!!! so i will be putting them in sooner i think.

thanks to all for the kind words

hey I

first off brewers yeast is a protein source and if your aerating you mix then it won't turn to alcohol so go nuts.

second Mike is michorizhal product that you use when ytou transplant, those products are more for "hydro-organic" grows if you believe in such a thing...
in soil a one yime application of this Mike stuff is fine, you don't flush out your res with soil so it doesn't require replenishing, it's a fungus and once they have latched on to the roots they are there for good with the proper organics.

the promix bx i used came innoculated with "mycorise tm" i wonder if thats all it really needs or will supplements be beneficial?

i always used to put a tablespoon of piranha and tarantula in the transplant hole, but did not this time becuase i didnt have much

I've asked myself the same thing lately, after reading the michorizhae links in the OFC thread I think having a sampling available when the initial growth spurt is put out after a transplant it would be plenty.
Sadly I am on hiatus sp no new tests for awhile, I still used the Mike in the end because I had it, I was using the PM HP with Mike.

The Peace of Mind guano has Mike in it. I have been using it in veg. Suby states it stays there after contact with the roots. So, you could use it as I do in veg and would eliminate the need for it later. Here is a pic of the box and description.

Will that work for what you are talking about Suby?

just for laughs heres a photo from today of the tea thats been aerating since last week:

its been aerating but otherwise untouched. the foam is about a foot high.
today i started the tea for the next batch. they'll need water in a couple of days, maybe three.

there appears to be significant change over the last 3 days!

those when the lights just came on

heres a good shot of a supercropped

lights off temps: 74-78F humidity 60%
lights on temps: 79-85F humidity 30-60%

CO2 set for 1500ppm a few days ago.

i let a few more cucumeris go day before yesterday, i havent seen hide nor hair of a thrip for a few days

Hey V, that looks like a sweet product.
Basically you can use Mike (abv.) as long as there is rooting going on so until 2-3 weeks into flowering.

Irie that shit is looking very tight.
Need someone to help you trim? :D

day 15 flower

day 15 flower

i made a tea today, pretty much the same as before but with less alfalfa. this time i used the prilled guano and it just became mush in the stocking once it got wet.

its also time to start pruning. i like to do a table a day over 3 days so it doesnt overwhelm me (who the hell wants to work for 3 hours straight, sheesh!)

those are a few shots before the pruning

and heres a shot of a pruned table and an unpruned

i basicaly take off the lower branches, unless they really reach the canopy, and i trim out all the inner stuff and lower buds,

Stellar shit man, a good trim is the pinacle of large buds, don't forget to trim the undergrowth about 1/3 way into flowering to have larger main buds and less "shake".
It's looking very good and very hardy with thick stocks and close nodes.
Very nice.

hey suby! how many? (fish did you get, what kind?) i was fishing yesterday and the chum and spring were jumping all around, just not biting!

i got thrips again! i guess the predators didnt fully do the job. i'm gonna order more preds today.

the flowering is coming along quite nicely. ill try to get some photos off asap.

my temps have been good 75F to 88F. i adjusted the a/c to cool even more in order to slow down the thrips.
humidity is under control too. 40% to 60% (60% only when the lights are off)

i just changed my 40lb propane tank. it lasted about 3 1/2 weeks.

'tsall good!

I caught sea bass of eastern coast, about 5 keepers in 3 hours.
It was rough, the boat (65ft) dropped out 3 times, free floating boat lol.
Strippers where nice too, we caught a 33lbs cow.
It was aweso0me.

Does neem work ontrips, it keepes my garden safe...not sure though

day 22 of flower

day 22 of flower

first off, some photos:

and here is a plant that i do not know what it is

and here are some shots i wanted to show you guys to see if we can figure out what causes this

this happens every cycle, some buds, on some plants seem to "burn" a little. in the shot with two buds you can see a good one and a weird one. the calyxes quit swelling and the hairs turn brown. it doesnt really seem to be a big deal becuase every time when i harvest the buds dont show it. they are not too close to the lights. the temps and humidity are good. i doubt they are over fertilized.

and as far as the thrips problem goes, i guess i'll just keep hitting them with predators. i was wondering about this stuff:
bio%20soy%20i.jpg

http://www.fearlessgardener.com/products/BioSoy_I_M.html

the manufacturer claims that it helps to fight insects. but im not sure i want to use it or neem becuase there are supposed to be some hard working predators going at it already. besides is it okay to spray neem on these lovely flowers?

peace out
irie

Note: by "stripper" I meant striped bass, as opposed to an ugly 33lbs hooker :D

Those are looking very nice.

If I had to guess I woulc say deficienty but i dunno whatcha been feeding these biatches...

Forget neem if you have pedators, I dislike sprays altogether I distrust anything in a bottle or can.
Neem is systemic and edible (so it's safe and natural) so you can do a soil application and it wil work it's way into the leaves but much slower, it would be ok IMHO to do a foliar soon but it would kill the predator for sure.
Plus i dunno if it kill sthe bastards you have lol.

I guess you could try the spray, i'll check the link later
