The think broads are evil. People def need to be careful.

Looks similar to when they are preying for calcium? When broads attack?

all these wierd pathogens/bugs causing people all sorts of trouble makes me glad to only grow from seed and find my own keepers. i would like to try some gorilla glue but i would be very nervous about letting a potentially infectious cutting into my grow space so theres no way id grow it or any of these american imports to be fair

So do broadmites cause the Brown spots similar to calcium deficiency? Every grow the last 2 years has what looks like calcium deficiency. Before this I had good results. I've tried loads to sort out this deficiency but nothing has worked. I'm even gonna try ph adjusting this time even though I'm in organic soil. I've been turned on to the idea it's not deficiency at all and some sort of infection. I had really bad roots, nothing rotten just hardly any roots after a 7 weeks veg and 4 weeks flower. The buds weren't growing, just looked like the plants were dying.

Are broad mites native to the uk?

I see one member not too far from me have problems with them 2 weeks ago. He sulphured his room and brought a new tent. He has access to international cuts. I don't know if they are native but they're here. Good job I've decided to go with seeds this time. I'm bleaching and burning sulphur just incase

^^ not sure if they are? either way ive had loads of imported US cuts and never had a problem. worst ive dealt with is thrips, had a fair few cuts with spider mites from the uk but they get binned and i dont even chance it. good thing about forums is most times you can see the parental stock your cuts are being cut from. still i fully agree choosing your own keepers does eliminate the risk.

I've spoke with a cpl ppl from uk now who has had
Them but both accept bits from over the pond.

I don't think ur issue were bm but u never know! Being preventive is the best thing you can do to start the fight bit like a sucker punch.

I can imagine the state of some of these gifters rooms houses so I'd be wary who u deal with.

Everybody should own a 100x scope and check check n check from day one! We need tobe super anal and keep the surrounding area clean! If u live in a dirty household shame on u! Clean house clean garden clean hands = no need for sulphur Chems bleach etc

It's like everyday I'm being swayed from believing in duds or not.

I'm not saying I got them from this forum or anything because if I do have them it's been prior to joining icmag. I look at symptom pics and it does look familiar but then the problems I've been having look like every symptom of every cannabis problem going hence the problems I'm having correcting them.

I clean my room after and before every grow with bleach I buy new pots every grow. My mate reckons I go over the top but I've always been paranoid about beasties getting at my plants. I've never had spider mites and didn't even know about broadmites. Although I did buy a new tent and fans and crap last year and still got the same problems but worse. I don't know about duds either and not completely sure why I'm even commenting on this thread

I have contacted RetroGrow, for his advice on suspicion of parasites. He mentioned sending to lab or university. I think he said it could just be stem, or leaf stem, so not identifiable.

I am fairly confident, no one ever had a positive lab test.

Will let you know what I hear.

That could never be accomplished indoors, and probably one in 100 pro growers would get those results. Pretty sure they were emerald triangle, multi generation growers. Probably grown on mountain tops, with direct southern exposure.

I also no longer believe that this could be a probable cause of my issues but I am a landscape gardener ,I'm always getting covered in all sorts of bugs and crap when trimming trees or hedges. So I could be infecting my plants, I do try and be careful. Shower and change clothes as soon as I get home before I go near plants. But unless I treated me grow room as a sterile computer chip lab there's no way I can be sure nothing gets in. Now I'm seriously hoping that my issue is with ph. Whole lot easier to correct that way.

Yes, this is something that I noticed moving back indoors, but in a natural setting not the concrete jungle, loads more bug problems from all the other plants around. Need to go all Breaking Bad and get a nice goon suit for indoor garden work.

This is 3 different grows, from same clone line. Left/Top is 1st grow, middle is 3rd , and right/bottom is 4th.

Were each run taken from the same mum LD? Something I have always believed but have never really tried to prove is that its about what level of maturity the plant that the cuttings are being taken from is at. Cuttings from plants that have just been switched to 12/12 and a cutting from a seed plant that hasnt reached maturity (i.e not showing pre-flowers) or alternating internode pattern will flower and finish quite differently imo. Just a thought.

Great question!!! No!! I never keep mom's. I take cuts from plants going into flower.

Also, the same donor sent more gave more GG4 cuts, when giving some OG's. So if clones from his mother did better, do not know. He is much better than I. Doing it as legit business, in legit state, so has resources.

Feel free to ask me anything here, or PM. I am glad to help. Was actually encouraged to not help others. UK will not hurt my US friends. They consider GG4 a gift to the small grower, not corporate growers, that could devalue market.

P.S.

I am pretty sure I heard not to keep a mother too long.
