Yeah im just wondering whether or not the change in hormone levels when inducing flowering by changing photoperiod may have a compounding effect on each subsequent generation. Is it the same as taking the snips say a week before switching the light cycle.
plus Bonsai mothers are kept for a long while. It just seems that there are stages to maturity, that seem to culminate when you induce flowering. You can see it with the growth pattern, symetrical nodes become alternate, blades increase on fans etc. Only seems logical!

Great question!!! No!! I never keep mom's. I take cuts from plants going into flower.
Also, the same donor sent more gave more GG4 cuts, when giving some OG's. So if clones from his mother did better, do not know. He is much better than I. Doing it as legit business, in legit state, so has resources.
Feel free to ask me anything here, or PM. I am glad to help. Was actually encouraged to not help others. UK will not hurt my US friends. They consider GG4 a gift to the small grower, not corporate growers, that could devalue market.
P.S.
I am pretty sure I heard not to keep a mother too long.
