Was thinking two plants scrog over 4x2 …Sativa Dominant for summer months …any recommendations entry level ? I like Dubi at Ace Seeds and Barrie at True Canna ..plant people from what I have listened to via podcasts …anyone love a Sativa from those camps that’s good indoor ? Thanks 🙏
For a good entry-level indoor sativa, you might want to try Ace Seeds' "Malawi" or True Canna's "Pineapple Express." Both have great flavors and good yields, making them perfect for a SCROG setup. Plus, they’re relatively forgiving for beginners, which is always a bonus!

Hey thanks IC Glass for the heads up, I’m thinking of giving my two Sativas there some added KalMag now aswell getting some fade on the lower leaves and some curl on the top leaves, the temperature hoovered around the 21 degrees centigrade up to 25 and the humidity is around 60/65 , trying to keep that down with regular air exchange.liked the look of Aces Malawi and haven’t seen Trues Pineapple Express here but will look into it for sure . Many Thanks for that .

That sounds like a great setup for summer! For entry-level sativas, you might want to check out ACDC or Panama from Ace Seeds—they’re known for their manageable growth and uplifting effects. True Canna also has some solid options, so you might find something perfect for your SCROG. Good luck with your grow! 🙏✨

Hey cheers again IC Glass, 😆This is my entry level Sativa grow and as you can see , I had a few issues with the SCrog 😆 they just went vertical..up up and away …vertical, and now with knowledge I would only use one of TCGs plants in this size pot in this space,I’m very happy there’s two girls in my closet that have calmed down now but I am disappointed myself it’s not a nice fat mushroom of bud , but I will have another go and I have more seeds here 😁💚💯

Durban Thai Highflyer x Cinderella 99 a.k.a. DTC99 is a perfect example of a squat NLD, very manageable in confined spaces.

Brothers Grimm sells a feminized remake. But, take note that those are done with the new Cinderella 99 elite female.

Original pre-2000 Cindy releases were the Princess 88 (Princess BX2) x Princess 97 (Princess BX4) line. The "final" version of Cinderella 99 (used currently) was selected from the Princess x Princess 94 lot.

Fleur du Mal has a repro done with a male of the original line crossed to a '99 Flying Dutchmen Thaitanic.

Whereas Cindy has an uppity effect, and it's a great option for a grower looking for an energetic high, the DTC99 produces a full-on psychedelic headspace that's more akin to a real tropical NLD.

Many Thanks💯think Gypsy said he liked C99 and is there a great difference with the elite cut used now ? Nice to here peoples stories on the Podcast/upside down library , the trials and the fun, and we get a little insight into how strains came about, I enjoy it , gets me nostalgic when I was toasting Blueberry and NL under 600w Sony bulbs …and putting worms in soil way back when 🤣

That DTC99 sounds nice , I liked the nose on True Colours especially breaking open a dried bud, that gassy smell, is that from the Triangle Kush /ChemD bx ….I’m still learning terms bx ibl f1 s1’s etc ..As individuals I guessing there both Indicas but are they very different when it comes to the smoke ?

I haven't tried the actual cuts, but the Triangle Kush and Chem D (plus other Chemdog) based crosses I have tried definitely had a different vibe to them.

To me, Chem D crosses have like an old school smack-ya-face Skunk type high. Highly exhilarating, but relaxing also. All about letting go and giving in to the flow. You'll be zoning out with your mouth open, a lot, but you probably won't be sleeping in the next few hours either... You'll be making breakfast tacos with midnight tortillas, as a snack.

TK (and OG Kush) crosses have been more like a real deal Afghan hash. Subtle at first, but slowly and silently stupefying you to sleep. You'll laugh at your own jokes until you can't form words.

Certainly true. But I found certain Ace strains to be quite managable.

Some bondage and cropping with the ladies should work for most sativa strains. Straight to 13/11 lightschedule, not to much N and small pots also can help.
i just changed to this sceduale.. Does it have benefit elsewhere? 13/11 , i thought more light better bud?

Think that light suits Equatorial plants, the Sativas we are after , I stuck 12/12 just because I have to learn basics at the moment looking forward to getting a bit more dialled in,only have to keep myself happy and a bit to the neighbour who’s just chucked ,well yesterday, some zheetos over the fence and it’s the first bit since the True Colours we had that has a touch of that sweet gassy smell I now Fuggin yearn for ,we’ve had a fair bit over the fence aswell gelatos sky walkers biscottis candy rain lemon hazes … I got to say I liked the OG Skywalker and the Candy Rain which I think is cookie families …is that frowned upon …😆 think that gassy is in the Zheetos parent Big Buddah/Cheese….Cheese was really nice , while back now but made me chuckle usually too myself 😆✌️💯
