Another visit to the Dutch North Sea with a priority focus on the still ongoing Legal Wiet experiment, wrote a report here[someone's gotta do it, right?]:

Convinced my mates that prior to testing we needed to get high properly as grass still is only a substitute if we can consume quality hashish instead so in some other provinces hashish was acquired as well.

First one[pictures #1-3] is instead of fresh frozen supposed to be a 'frozen sift' by whoever in Morocco.
Creamy kushy and strong smoke it was.
Bit of a standard kush taste these days hashwise already to me but very welcome at that level of quality at home.
Good to know that one can finds such also in the provinces since a while even though price in bigger towns would be a few € less.
Still, lovely high grade!
Funny thing was that it was stored in the fridge and had a wettish texture.
Strong yet very strong up high as well as on the body.

4 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, May, 2024.JPG

Second one[pictures #4-6] is a blonde one from Morocco. Best the coffeeshop had according to experiencied budtender but only was said cheap pollen compared to the real deal classic blonde Moroc I presented in my previous post.

Third one[pictures #7-11] was a surprise as after talking to the budtender it appeared to be what an other member on here tried four months before so it was Bibi40's best then since said budtender mentioned the section producing it prior asking.
So a no brainer since I missed it in March as reported.
Was told it is the same batch from January so very fresh, haha(the devil take the hindmost, anyone?) ; supposedly this section an others as well hold some back every now and then before it again hits the market.
Also relatively creamy smoke and compared to the second best above('frozen sift')the kush taste profile indeed was extra modified to mandarine indeed.
Modified since this standard kush profile when high grades with foreign genetics are concerned is to some degree noticeable but overshadowed in a positive way respectively underlined by a sweet sour fruit note similar to mandarines ; formed a taste orchestra, sorta.
Also strong effect more on the mind but compared to the second best this trip above a bit less, also not that creamy compaed to said one ; was tested almost 80% cannabinoids by the way but again funny that those numbers again fail as the frozen sift above felt stronger, old hat again.
Though these are minor points of critizm as all in all the best smoke of the trip and lovely we could indulge.
Good yet very good gear!
Beyond question welcome at home!
Special prize for being a very good price/performance ratio as we got told the black market price along the way as well, kudos to them.

Slightly prefered the one off them I tried also on my recent trip[see also previous post in this thread] which also was even cheaper, also on the black market[my version I got here a few € cheaper than at boutique Reefer which is notorious for charging extra, too].
Had such a taste[oranges/mandarines] from my personal 2nd best section['price/performance ratio'] as well but here it was significantly better. This section here is probably becoming my new 2nd best as soon as I tried more product of them
Still very keen to try some better grades from them here [could be though the best I had yet last time as said could have been 'static' sifted as well]. My most favourite section still has not so common flavours ready and thus still have minor competition.
Just saying:biggrin:!

@bibi40

Firstly
, enjoy your slabs but apart from what I found this trip: where is finally some real deal high grade with foreign genetics? Your source probably only saves this for personal stash:D!

Secondly, nice I could try the Tangerine Squeeze now and nonetheless can only add that you found a high grade product of the foreign genetic ones but there are other more unique flavours out there, let alone better quality. Only splitting hairs here and glad you found a good one don't get me wrong, hands down a high grade!
Now you only have to admit that you don't want to smoke something else anymore:D!
Still hope your personal fresh frozen is in good progress and looking forward to you presenting it.

That time of the year: summer coming with rain and heat and holidays[everyone deserves as much as possible in my humble opinion]. This indeed was a fruitful month. For some reasons we visited some provinces with focus on the ongoing Wiet experiment again which I reported about here[even found a regulated 'hashish' again]

since I still think it should be documented.

However, priority or not but again we decided to start the days with hashish for a proper high[ you see @tobedetermined, rinse and repeat, haha]and looked for this in neighboring towns/provinces so the next one is a static sift supposedly harvested in Morocco with foreign genetics. Bright, crumbly-oilish but sticking together coming with a very sweet smell which is transfered to the creamy taste and smooth smoke.

Strong all over effect satisfied our needs easily[by the way all pictures presented here could again contain some grass off budtender's hand].

By the way from the producer of the Mulberry 90u back then! Remarkably different texture than their other gear but not too sure this is really static when compared to some supposedly imports from the Usa or very first batches of my most favourite section from Morocco. Relax though, minor critizm and in the end welcome at home any time!

Will have to do further tests on their higher grades. Also tried some other 'dry sift'[no pictures ; as ususal some other pictures in my gallery I couldn't place here] which was embarassingly overpriced mid-grade in fact sold for too much money and from a legitimate coffeeshop ; shame they sell such swindle.

Next one is for some reasons from an other trip along with a strict focus on hashish among the provinces.

On the left hand[pictures #6+#7] is one of those supposedly imports from the Usa and the original brand supposedly coming from a town in California, Usa now having a sublabel for a while imitating the Moroccan style slabs since half a year or so as reported.

Finally I could try the original brand here.

Look is very fudgey and resinous. Smell is kush with that hint of sorta cherries.

Too can taste the smell if not overwhelmingly but sttill creamy and strong!

First I thought not at all special compared to other static sifts but it indeed is since price was half as expensive. Still steep don't get me wrong but in fact is a good price/performance ratio taking this into account and so the best of this month's adventures.

No other pictures unfortunately from a few others.

On the right hand[picture #5] is another hashish with foreign geneticssupposedly a 'frozen sift'. Medium priced[t10 € less than the one on the left hand]and from my most favourite section from Morocco. Peachy kush smell was also transfered to the too creamy enough and strong uplifting smoke. Another fine product of them and the best this month when it comes to price/performance ratio!

Third one occured on our stoppover in København when too visiting Christiania for proviant for our then Scandinavian tour. Read way beforehand that they closed up Pusher Street and didn't care at all since this intention was stated over and over again before, almost what felt yearly, without happening much.

So pretty surprised it indeed was closed.

Also no daily raids as usual there anymore but one or two pairs of policemen patroulling on site all day now compared to back in the day[on site!]too fining consumers they see for illegal consumption ; charges sorta doubled.

This is the case since April we were told by locals. Quite different vibe now.

As said before I can relate with all the violence and death in the past linked to organised crime groups controlling the market there since a long time even though it mostly was peaceful. They had to do the job properly. so I can relate to locals there sick of this crap.

At this point congratualations to the Danish goverment for more restriction instead of legalising and getting rid of scrupulous people involved and such. Clever, thank you for nothing!

Not sure how this works out but quite sure dealers there will return as on one hand long established and on the other loads of money involved ; quote me on that despite I like to get proved wrong preferably.

It happened before for about 9 months some years ago but back then I can't remember people living there worked with the authorities[correct me if I'm wrong please] which is new this time.

Eventually they returned. Most probably it will happen again for some reasons.

While I still love the idea of Christiania I noticed it turnt into a hell of a corrupted place over the years as said before.

Smell of low grade hashish still was omnipresent, yuk.

For the record: if one is looking to score good hashish there under the current circumstances[but also if it would be business as ususal as I reported before here , haha]do not bother. I repeat: do not bother! One will waste his time properly otherwise. Merely one will find horribly overpriced low grade and even this seemed difficult for foreigners.

Since we are the definition of streetwise['Ye know, blood?' ] and connected hashish with foreign genetics shown below was obtained. Darkish oily skin with a leather smell one could taste whlie smoking as well. Relatively smooth, too. Commercial high grade thesse day I would rate this but welcome in this situation.

In fact one of the best I ever picked up there, haha.

Sad to hear that about Pusher Street. I wonder why.

The residents got tired with the criminal organisations that have taken over the dealing in Christiania. The last couple of years there have been a number of shootings and acts of violence in and around Christiania linked to these criminal organisations. I also imagine the residents feel pressure from the government to take action and get rid of the gangs or the future for Christiania is in jeopardy.

It's a shame it had to come to this. Hopefully pusher street will be back in a more sustainable form.

Zomervakantie, ja?

Well, at least a part or does anyone really need a reason for a get away?
At least we had a lovely stopover in Amsterdam before going elsewhere less busy.

This time even the best looking classic Moroccan high grade hashish was picked up as well as in addition a blondish foreign genetic one which is shown below with the usual subpar quality[Disclaimer: budtender didn't clean their hands again ; too a picture traditionally of Dam].
1 Selection Of High Grades With Classic And Foreign Genetics From Morocco From Coffeeshops, Ju...JPG

The foreign genetic one is supposed to be static filtered and in concrete from a section which this ocassion was all over the place and never tried before consciously.
Bit pricey and not the usual terpene profile but a tad less in intensity tastewise ; more fruity than herbal. Strong high though!
Shares the second prize this trip with equally[or maybe a tad better]good supposedly fresh frozen resin from some other section - à plein gaz - I heard of before but never tried coming with a stupid name again but this was quality too though not sure if it was real fresh frozen rather than frozen sift[no pictures] ; too a bit pricey respectively same price as the blonde one.

3 Selection Of High Grades With Classic And Foreign Genetics From Morocco From Coffeeshops, Ju...JPG

4 Selection Of High Grades With Classic And Foreign Genetics From Morocco From Coffeeshops, Ju...JPG

Best one in this regard was again Bibi40's best
off the mulberry section which again proved not only to have a good price/performance ratio but in this case also the better overall product. Orangy yet peachy taste and others thrown in, effect, smell – all on point[no pictures]!

The traditional Moroc came with a reddish tinge and a lovely smell. Sadly only ashamingly overpriced commercial. Next!

Which reminds me of last trip and our private connection for the real one already being in the Rif for holidays when visiting town then but there is often next time, innit?
5 Classic Moroccan High Grade With A Reddish Tinge From Morocco From Coffeeshops, July, 2024.JPG

6 [It Rarely Rains In Amster]Dam, July, 2024.JPG

Here are some videos about the Rif I unfortunately forgot last time posting which come from a lovely channel showing the usual subpar conditions these farmers either in Morocco or in what ever traditional hashish producing country have to work under which is nothing new but always nonetheless interesting to see.

Let alone the part where their static process is shown for deceptive advertising as I strongly doubt and also was told often along the way in the past that they use bigger tools
than glove technique for the amounts they work with as one can see earlier/later in the videos ; I was informed they use big rollers which makes far more sense [Though maybe the gloves are used for special quality for some ultra rich customers on
the Arabian Peninsula whom can afford the time consuming method on a bigger scale as I hear at least lots of high/top grad hashish from Asia goes there.
Who knows? Wait, sadly those workers are so underpaid even the average Western consumer could probably afford it as long as he isn't on average after the most cheapest quality, pun intended:biglaugh:!].

As we all know advertisement is annoying but sadly works nonetheless so I will look out for shown section in this video since I never heard or saw their gear anywhere[what ever that means in my case].

@bibi40

Sadly I didn't find your second best anymore[relax please, haha, we had fun anyway.] but eventually your favourite so cheers for recommendation. Not sure it is really static sifted compared to past ones since having seen lots over the years[the ones supposedly from Usa[buzzwords: "Californian town, Glove and War"] often look particularly different, more waxy so to speak ] supposedly sifted that way and the blonde one shown above which distinctively looked more pure but in our book yours was our winner as well.
Thanks:tiphat:!

Still hope to see some static ones obtained on site from your side or even better you going static sifting yourself one day! I know, I know but first you will master the fresh frozen technique and I enjoy following this process I can tell you.
Haste makes waste!

Question: as far as pressing goes, is it generally just a single cold press into a brick in Morocco? After whatever preparations and production techniques are used.
Are there other broad differences in regional techniques?

Back from this month’s escalation in the Netherlands where apart from our main purpose there was a focus on the ongoing Wiet experiment which I documented here:

Also during our holiday Amsterdam was visited and could be read here:

Hence the Wiet experiment in the provinces they were too searched for proper resin to start each day so voilà [ even though I for some strange reasons mostly only took pictures in the provinces apart from the traditional Damrak picture there are a few in this thread here ; attention, attention since there are again budtender's claws full of resin and grass involved, beware!j Also as so often I couldn't post all pictures in one post which I always prefer so there are a few additional others in my gallery]:

First one is according to staff a 120u one with foreign genetics. Smell? Sweet kushy! Taste? The same with some creaminess included. Effects? Uplifting and strong enough crumbly oily goodness! Conclusion: another good product from my most favourite section which still didn't let me down yet.

Not far from our accomodation so the price/performance smoke of this trip by a mile ; I would be very happy even though there is better stuff out there of course consuming such processed grade and quality for the rest of my life.

Still amazed about their ongoing performance. Pictures doing this one justice and since I tried a lot of them in the past it almost feels like it carries a certain thumbprint by them.
1 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

2 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

Second one is a bright piece, also oilish and though easy enough to handle. Supposed to be from a famous strain but didn't taste like that but quite clean more kushy, earthy. Without a choice a beautiful smoke don't get me wrong but in my humble opinion can't mess with the first one shown here.

Produced by a section[triliteral society reference and pun, anyone]? I tried every now and then and seems to deliver but a bit pricey, even sold as mid shelf, for my liking for what it is highgradewise if compared to others.
4 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

5 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

Third one is again the mulberry section delivering a strong tasting kush piece of sift. Too I tell myelf they carry a thumprint as well after trying lots of their gear already this year. Not sure if this was a static one like the staff claimed['I am usually only smoking weed but this is so good it is all I smoke now at the minute’] but proper high grade quality , too nicely priced.
6 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

8 High Grade With Foreign Genetics Supposedly From Morocco From Coffeeshops, August, 2024.JPG

Fourth one was a no brainer since budtender explained without request it is - what I mentioned some weeks back too - a so called double static sifted piece[for the high price other few serious sections sell their real Fresh Frozen for but still cheaper than the alleged imports from the Usa].

Strong bubblegum kush flavour, anyone?

Consistency showed its oily interior as soon as handling the resin which ended in a gummy product similar to the best ones from the Usa.

In particular also very strong and easily another cutter but to some degree it reminded me of dabbing oil because I immediately felt the first hit off me pipe which made me wonder if they used oil/rosin for this which I would not rate but flavour and such seemed unsuspicious[again the positive sides of buying on the black market, oh yes].

A delight to consume in fact and reminded me a bit of the first batches of static I encountered a few years back from my most favourite section. Guess what? It is from them again[respectively a sub label but they are connected I was told].

Unfortunately no one could explain what I wondered myself some weeks back: does this mean they do another cleaning of the first static sift they did in the beginning when processing plants? They hardly will clean for so called '99%heads' said static sift that is quite sure as too much work.

Strengthwise I found it on par with the best static from the Usa[I take it – what ever that means - the best producers there do several cleanings though if not for 99,9%], at least. Quite possible this will be the start of a new marketing agenda and if people as us and others like it other producers will jump on it and upcoming harvests will be sifted that way too or just named like that, haha.

Wonder how many months/years it takes this time.

Again, get ready for 'tripple static', 'quaddro static' et cetera, lol.

Definitely the winner of the trip nonetheless since I enjoyed this trip to the future in particular!

13 Damrak, August, 2024.JPG

Also scored some really good sour fruity tasting sift but there are no pictures. Not advertised as static but frozen sift at a relatively reasonable price.

Sadly no traditonal Moroc around during this trip worth indulging.

Offerings at home are as bad as usual and I still only hear excuses when I visit sources and suggest what they should look for, haha.

First world problems again.

I think roughly this is the case as you put it. Though I was told there are producers not pressing their resin, especially with foreign genetics, and just fill it into the bags and let the transport do the pressing.
Just my two cents worth what ever.

When I went to a hach farm in 99 near Chefchaouen next to Ketama, they were cold pressing the 100g slab with a mechanical press. This was done after collecting the resin from the second, third sieving of the material as the first sieving was set apart and kept as separate quality to make what was called double zero, first pass, olives because it was often exported in olive shaped chunk swallowed by mules. The consecutive sieving were mixed together and used to fill plastic bags used to contain the 100g slab, then took the filled plastic to the mechanical cold press to make the slab flat and store for a few months before exportation. That was the whole process I've witnessed in the farm I visited but it can be different in other farms and it was 25 years ago so things might have changed today.

Static is static, the quality depends on time, you can clean the resin for an hour or 100 hours.

There is no double or triple static, it's just time but those salesmen will label it anything to sell it.

I've seen a frozen static though by one of the most famous farms, I I guess they sift it 1st in a cold room then clean with static.

I need to get my shit together and post some goodies, I've had a years worth of hash to post about but I'm trying to stay off the internet.

Here's a static from drytech called "peach lassi"

Creamy peach taste with a strong balanced high that creeps up on you.

That drytech very well cleaned for 10e a gram compared to 40e to 50e that golden head warriors are charging, ghw is also made from just trim so they are making a fortune.

I don't understand this Cali bullshit, good weed can be almost grown anywhere can it not?

Edit

I need to get a better phone camera!!!

Vsop static "gmo" this was 12e a g

This strain is one of my favourites ever, I just love funky odd terps and a heavy stone that's perfect for bedtime.

If anyone can advise anything that's close to gmo with a heavy narcotic stone please tell me.

I've tried gmo x 26 mm (aka garlic Uzi) that was tasty but a more balanced high like a 50/50 hybrid.

As you can see this one is a lot darker and I think it doesn't look as well cleaned as the drytech static I posted previously but it's a hell of a lot stronger (maybe that's just the strain).

Drytech frozen sift ice cream cake x runtz at 9e a g

This is an excellent hash with a heavy stone and great creamy fruit flavor.

This plate seemed to have been pressed a lot more than other farms I've tried, it also didn't seem to need curing, the terps were there even though it looks dry but these guys have a curing room before they pack their products for shipping.

I also don't like to cure until any oils/terps leak out I think that's taking the product too far and has become popular because it looks good and that's what the sales groups do to sell a product.

Hashwarrior Tropicana cookies (160u x 90u)

These guys are some of the best hash makers around and their standard 2 x filtered products are usually better than a lot of other farms static lines.

This Tropicana had crazy fruit terps and a sativa high that wasn't racy at all, which is all I can handle as far as sativas go.

Hashwarrior GMO X 26mm (160u x 90u)

Really nice clean resin with a strong balanced high and really interesting taste which is probably due to that funky GMO.

The drytech bits look amazing, and really good price wise also.

They seem to use the term static very loosely, I’ve tried lots of static recently that is inferior to the standard 120u lines. Have yet to try any drytech though.

Would you recommend any other farms other than hash warrior? Have you tried hash valley?

Peace

Hi piff

There are plates that say static that are probably also not static at all, they will stick that on the label to charge more.

Seen on it on loads of commercial plates after static 1st started to get popular in the last 2 years, or maybe just cleaned with static for a very short period.

Drytech are great, they do some excellent work for the price, I actually thought their lower lines were as strong as the static I had from them, but I only got 1 strain as the other 4 strains had sold out.

I've only tried hash valley semi dry with was close to some lesser farms best plates, hash valleys best plates are supposed to be excellent but I've yet to try those, just what other smokers were saying.

I would have recommended VSOP too as their price/quality ratio was excellent, but I lost trust in them after they messed me around for 3 months with a pack (I did eventually get it) that was after 6 months of previously excellent business with no issues.
