This one pheno did, i need to collect more xp to see how common this is.
A second female went to a friend. She startet 4 weeks later. Which ist okay too.

In the genes of the monk there is an auto hybrid afaik, but it is recessive

That would make sense. I remember hoku seeds talking about how crossing with ruderalis results in a mixed variation of auto, normal and semi-auto/early flowering plants.
I dont know if its possible to stabilize the traits of your faster flowering one. I think its unlikely because hfh have already selected for years for that.

It would be interesting to cross it with a semi auto strain like lebanese or moroccan beldia kif. As far as i know these semi auto genes are completely different than the ruderalis auto genes. That should also induce some sativa/indica vigor.

Actually right now i have the chance to cross StrawberryGold (MightyMite, Erdbeeri, Purpurea T., Friesland) with an original Sensi Durban male.
I think that will be the partner Hybrid for the monk, to further outdoor-qualities.
Also Runtz will get some Durban pollen and then get to pair with the monk.

And maybe many more.

Crossing the male direcly to the monk would be also interesting for some cbdv/thcv action. Maybe you could save some pollen for that.

this plant is dead now. No crossing.

There will be breeding session under lights in Winter.

I will also cross it into the fastest Critical available. Which sounds most promising in my mind.

Smoke Report = The weed is high as fck. Basically a Haze in its original form,
harvesting early might have added to this effect. Might be a pheno though.

No, i have not grown the WildMonk.

I have a Danish Gold which is basically ready to harvest now.
Looks amazing. Very dense buds - not rot though yet.
another DG is on the terrace with cover of a friend. Also very promising
and close to finish. Definitely get those.

If i get to do a 4-way cross this winter it will be Critical-Mass-fastversion x Monk
and the same with DanishGold (if i get a male from my remaining few seeds)
and the recombined. That should do the trick.....we will see.

Peppermint, low smell - smells like "bush weed" - but the smoke report is very very Haze. Very high.
Nothing for the evening.

Smoke report:
I smoked the Monk after 2 weeks of drying. No indica report .... insanely clear high after 20 mins.
I was stupid enough to take a whole cup of mostly hairs from trimming and made some hot milk with it.
That was way to high for me. Maybe 3hrs of - no talking to anyone. Thoughts 3x faster than my mouth.
After 3hrs...i got down to a very pleasant high.
Since, the aroma has developed from bush/mint to a very beautiful flavour.
And i have given it to 10 guys for smoke reports.

Overall i am the only one who thinks it too high.
Folks like it and report highness and good taste.
Very suprising for me. My thougt was .... okay, nice to have that in stash,
and lets do hybrids with this one, for early flowering.

Syntax: it became better than expected in curing.
And i am even more inclined to use this for breeding.
i acquired a BlackDomina clone and a CriticalKush clone
they will be pollinated with monk.
Then a backcross to monk.
Overall plan: do many crosses with monk and recombine them.

As stated above. "bushweed" like from the 90s at first. But now really awesome. I am astonished of the quality and the feedback from the guys who got samples. Haze ....basically just haze - this pheno.
