Nice ngakpa,I agree.
I forgot to add, I found one male out of these seeds!
Unfortunatly the first female to go into flower turned out to be a hermie.
But there are a few more girls that should be fine.
Plus I have the clone of Number 1 and I might run it again to make sure it wasn't my fault it hermied.
But I have several hermie under stress strains in the same room that aren't hermies.
So it must of been the plant itself.
I'll give it another run with less nutes in the soil.
Maybe thats what did it. It might have been my fault.
But that Black Thai is not hermying so it wasn't light leaks or anything like that.
Had to be natural or the nutes in the soil where to high.
We'll see.
Pretty sure I got one Bush pheno and one Ball pheno in flower so far.
And that last one in veg is still waiting to be cloned before going into flower.
Plus I got this runt that is going to make it.
But no doubt this shit is frosty like a Hashplant.
Nothing hempy about it.

very nice thread, will have to follow it closely from here on out..

If one wanted.... would going to the Hunza valley be the only way to obtain this cultiver??

I see there is a brazilian seed producers in this thread?? are you using these variety to mix with your lines/?? OR is that your interest??

I hope you smoke is stoney and not hempy, and think you have not much to worry about...

Hey Jdag how is the smell at this point??/ how strong in comparisson to other strains of stinky weed??

Peace

I do have one male.
So I'll be making seeds with my best female.
BUt I don't have alot to choose from here.
Thanks everyone.
The shorter stockier one is the stinkiest.
Like sour skunk.

I got 2 left to flower, the rest hermied because of something.
I think they need less nutes.
So I'll have to runn the other again if these other 2 prove worthy.
Otherwise I'm not going to bother.
OR I'll give them to someone who is more interested.
But we'll see how these last 2 go.
One is that one clonish looking one with lots of crystals in veg(More then the rest) I gave it litter nutes too. Then the Mutant or slow starter is veging still.
I'll flower that one too as soons I can clone it.
Time to walk the dog.

Can a landrace indy herm from low light?
Not alot of low light.
Just not directly under the 100 watter.
I have more important thing under my light.
So the hunzas have to stay on the side.
BUt one has a tall top that seems to get less light and it shot a banan right out the very tip top.
I pulled it off.
BUt if I see any more it's going to get the chop like the other s and the nlst 2 will have to prove them selves worthy otherwise hunza is done for in my garden at least.
We'll see.
IF I don't like it, I'll give it to someone more into it. with more room.

They can herm from low light if the lack of light plays into overfertilization or nutrient stress. Also they're obviously acclimated to a natural light cycle. The sudden change to 12/12 combined with the fact that the 18/6 light cycle never happens during the year in their region of origin.

Part of the problem is that you need a bigger genepool so you can get the thc producing gene with some frequency to occur homozygously in some offspring. So, you must have at least one mixed chemotype male and one female or even better for improvement purposes would be to have both as strict thc producers.

It was my fault then I'm sure.
I think the next one will do well.
And if it does, I'll at least run some small clones of each female.
If any are worth it,I'll hit it with the male.
The best ,my favorite one is in flower now with good light and low nutes.

Hey guys, every Hunza I've flowered hermied on me.
I don't have the time or space to start a whole breeding project off of something I know nothing about.
So I'm canning the Hunza testing.
If anyone want s to take over my mothers and father or possibly fathers.
Let me know in pm form.
Otherwise they are going in the trash.
It seems like a sappykiller strain.
BUt I am in no place in my life to be stablizing a landrace strain.
Especially when I only have a few to piclk from that all keep hermieing anyway.
SOmeone is going to have to make seeds and grow tons and find the stable ones and breed those.
But it ain't gonna be me.
I don't have the room.

Sorry to hear most of your Hunza parents become hermie. It's a sad new for all the people waiting for a sinsemilla Hunza flowering. Did your seeds come from mriko directly or were reproduced by other person using original seeds?

Your dedication and time is apreciated. dubi

I'm not sure who made these.
But I wish I would have tryed to grow em again.
Oh well. I have so many clones coming in.
The Hunzas just kind of got lost in the mix.

hi all, ive grown out a few hunze plants. all stretched like a sativa but had quite wide blades to the leaves, the smoke was ok but nothing there was worth keeping. maybe a larger selection would turn up more potent plants..J :joint:
