How often do you shower ?

When my dogs refuse to come near, even at dinner time, that's the first sign that a shower may be in order.... but I hate to rush into these things; energy consumption, water use, etc.

i agree. most wars fought in the next hundred years or so will be over fresh water unless they figure out a really cheap way to remove salt from sea water. life depends on it...

They're already at war over it. Just not in the US.... yet. But it's coming. It's why I believe Canada needs nukes to protect us from invasion.

Some countries barely have water, let alone clean water. In North America, we fill a tub, and let the whole thing go down the drain. You'd think tub and shower water would get diverted to the garden.

I've been conserving my pee, and peeing outdoors in a special red bucket.

(Red to indicate "hot" nutes, and to keep me from forgetting which bucket is which  ).

That plus some 0-11-0 seabird guano, and a handful of wood ash,

gets me my first round of N-P-K.

AND some 3-2-3 chicken guano, a second source of N-P-K.

$14 for the 0-11-0. We are surrounded by primo organic nutes.

Spent a lot less on nutes this year.

Plus I had 4 mid-size females go Hermie, so they got hacked and now there's 4 pots worth of soil stash.

Do any of you put your pots and pans and dishes outdoors for the animals to clean ?

I find they do a very thorough job.

Then if the timing is perfect it rains and that is the Rinse Cycle :woohoo:

Then you just have to do a towel dry. :dance013:

no, not outdoors, lol. my Plott hound does a VERY good job cleaning plates, pots and pans. she is, however, getting very fat.:) the solution to one problem only causes another problem...sigh.

Damn, you guys still bothering to remove clothes when you pee?

Come on guys..... it's the 60's. And, I don't mean the 1960's.

I can just see that big bruiser on the package standing in line somewhere with a sheepish grin on his face as he pees himself.
