1st run followed the whole schedule to a T ,then again for the second run, thanks ! Minus an extra 7 days added then 11 days added to their recommended 3 day flush

SO no variables???SO I should have SS#4 and SS#4 , then coco and coco? Read the 1st post in that thread... Piss off Maybe you could step up and do a better side by side??
Funny I talked to a shop owner about it tonight who also agreed and has had others say they found it harsh.

I've not noticed any off flavors from running H&G at all. I would not put too much gravity in anything anybody that works, or owns for that matter, a grow shop.. most of them are just recommending the things they get the biggest margins on or the latest item that the reps have pumped them up on. I'm sure your guy is an expert and does not fall into that category tho..

Never said off flavors, said it was harsher then botanicare Pure blend pro and less flavor . Quite a few people have tried clones grown with both nutes , and also agree. Maybe it's because I ran Organic amended soil with teas prior and Im picky . IDK, Maybe all the internet experts know all ? The guys at this shop push nothing on me , have the cheapest prices, and also order me stuff at cost. SO , yes i trust his opinion, my own judgment and others opinion about the differences .

yea learn how to feed and flush your plants properly.I understand that might mean you have to stop shoving icecream down your face and actually read something but Im sure youll be ok. If you have trouble with the big words just ask your romainian granny to help ya. I've used H
& G and it works just fine with no loss of flavor whatso ever....Also put down the x box control and take your plants when they are ready....Funny you hang around for a few years you can see the noobs and lazy growers a mile away.they all ask the same ?'s

Im referring to my meds that were finished using H@G in SS#4. Not sure what coco has to do with anything? Read the whole thing , before you go throwing whatever out there bro? Been using H@G for a bit now in SS#4, and that's my 1st run with it in coco. How the fuck could I say the meds grown in coco with H@G are harsh , if they are still growing?

I just finished my run with H&G. The grow went smooth, nice growth and no deficiencies. But like you say there is much left to be desired in the final product.

My herb burns clean, but the taste, aroma and potency are lackluster. But this was true for me with GH also, I had very similar results with H&G.

When I used pure blend pro in amended soil years ago, my herbs always had great flavor and were super stoney. When I switched to coco and straight salt ferts, flavor and potency always took a hit, no matter what nutes I used. Salt ferts are useful for sure, but herbs grown in a majority of organic material are superior in final product quality IMHO.

for you guys getting the lack of flavor, my question for you is are u using the FULL line up (not most, not some, FULL)

just wondering, i've heard alot of people talk shit about HG but then come to find out they didnt use the full line

and im not saying you did anything wrong just curious, im on my first run with HG now using the full line with coco... they do have a certain line and schedule for a reason im just wondering if not using everything they offer and on their time line if it makes a difference

also i dont know how high EC you guys are feeding your girls, i follow their timeline but i dont feed by their doses

so far I havent went above 1.4 ec, which is way less than even the normal recommendations i think i have been going with 7.5ml a and b and slightly less than recommended for additives as well

I've got friends who use GH 3-part (the worst imo), H&G (although only a couple of runs so far), canna, and floranova. I've used all of them myself minus the H&G. Unless all of these guys are growing wrong, which they aren't, I've found PBP to give the tastiest nugs around. I think it probably just comes down to that. Go back to the PBP, in coco bump up the cal-mag to 8ml/gal and you'll be fine.
