I wouldn't spend the money on H&G again.There are cheaper, simpler and better products available.

Was doing a test for enzyme products. I hate to say it as Im a fan of H&G nutrients, but they failed miserbly on the enzyme test......

Tested H&G's Multi-Zen against Hesi's Power Zyme, and Canna's Cannazyme. Cannazyme and Hesi both blew H&G out of the water.....no pun intended.....

If you want to duplicate the test and see how your zyme product of choice works try this...

Get 3 STERILE test tubes (preferably glass). Use a tablespoon of your zyme product in one and the competition in the other and plain tap water in the 3rd for a control. Now cut equal 1 inch x 1 inch square pieces of paper. Put a square of paper in each tube. Wait about 12 hours and start to stir and mix each tube. A GOOD zyme product will disolve the paper in 12 hours completly. This demonstrates the ability of the product to disolve organic matter, like dead roots for example.

It appears that Power Zyme by Hesi is the cheapest and will hang with the best performing and most expensive which was Cannazyme.

H&G's Multi-Zen did NOTHING to the paper after DAYS! The multi-zen evaporated and the rest soaked up by the piece of paper......

Cannazyme completly disolved the paper in 12 to 14 hours.

Hesi Power Zyme did the same but took a while longer to disolve the paper.

i dunno, paper is way different than roots. Its a fiberous pulp product.

why not use actual roots?

The Enzyme product should eat ANYTHING organic as that is its job and what they do. The enzyme does not know it is eating a dead root broham.....it eats ANYTHING organic.

ROFL- I picture and enzyme sitting a dinner table reading a menu going "ewwww....paper..."

I too have decided against using Shooting Powder again. I get these weird buds with buds within buds, some burning, and plants that don't seem to finish right.

I've had good success (pre coco and H&G) with OverDrive and will using that. BioMaster likes KoolBloom powder.

What did you decide?

I'm runnin a little Liquid Kool Bloom and Flora Nectar. It's some stuff left over from my all GH run which produced some massive yields. As a matter of fact, I'm probably going to switch back to GH or try something entirely different after I'm out of the H&G base nutes. I may try the BioThrive organic line from GH next time.. haven't really decided..

I consistently achieve better results with h&g aquaflakes in coco than I ever did with pbp, or Gh 6/9. is everyone that isn't happy with h&g just following the manufacturers chart? I had to tweak my own nute profile with the h&g to go somewhat along the lines of the gh 6/9 formula and ended up with 8ml/gal part A 9ml/gal part B I use all additives minus shooting powder and also use GH diamond nectar @ 1tsp gal, General organics cal-mag @ > 1tsp/gal (i use filtered tap water, cal mag gives me chunkier nugs) and Agricultural organics (yellow bottle) final bloom @ about 80% strength, I maintain a weekly res and keep the ph @ 5.7-6.1 sometimes diluting the nutes with fresh water towards the end of the week.

I also like to make teas roughly every 10-14 days for the first 6-7 weeks of flower depending on the strain my teas are made with ewc, alaskan hummus, indonesian bat guano, seaweed extract, molasses, mycroziah sp? inoculates etc.

I have had nothing but positive reviews and am still able to get top $ in the flooded so cal market with my end product...don't give up on h&g guys, master it, it is the shit when you really get it.

also in my previous runs with H&G when i followed their chart both aggressive and normal strength I had inferior results ( i also used shooting powder when i fed aggresive, and used AN big bud when on the normal feed, I currently don't use ANY boosters other than the 3-5 days that they get hit with top booster.

I know after all this talk I dont have pics from my current run yet, but I need to cz this shit's the fiyah, I'll throw up a couple pics from last run
