You kids are outta control. I'll smoke you like this blunt im bout to roll.

I b hailin from the eastern shore of Md. I like hip hop because there is no set instrument. Rock is depressing, and I dont want to listen to stuff from the 80s/90s. Rap or hip-hop has many trippy instrument sounds.

nah zamboni, never heard of em

but this tune

takes me back to highschool

rockin avirex, out till 3 am on school nights, those were the days

nas ft kool g rap - fast life
Champagne wishes of caviar dreams, a p**** gettin cream
With sales of fish scales from triple beams I gleam
Livin the live of rowdy packin fifty cali's
Rockin lizard bally's while we do our drug deal in a dark alley
Up in casinos just me and my dino primo
Pushin beam-o's then parlay in reno with two fly latinos
Nas, he runs the whole staff, we count mad for seen bad
We've seen a half a milli dashin out there on the queens half
Three major players gettin papers by the layers
And those that portray us on the block get rocked like amadeus
Fakers get used for shootin targets, soon as the dark hits
Front on the drug market, bodies get rolled up in a carpet
Those that cheat us try to beat us we got hookers with heaters
That'll stray pop and put more shells in your top than adidas
Da leaders, lookin straight crimy in our giorgio armani's
You wanna harm me and nas you gots ta come get through a whole army
The celo rollers money folders sippin bola holdin mad payola
Slangin a coke without the cola
Me and black don't fake jacks but we might sling one
It ain't no shame in our game we do our thing son

Chorus
Livin the fast life, in fast cars
Everywhere we go, people know who we are
A team from out of queens with the american dream
So we're plottin up a scheme to get the seven figure cream(repeat 2x)

Verse two: nas escobar
Yo I got, guns from italy, smoke trees, considerably
Mid-state and green it seems, is where all my niggaz be
The ghetto misery, shootouts and liquor stores
A perpendicular, angle of the clout war
Police searchin up my lex over who's petrol
My tech blows straight off the roof and tests yo' respect though
But dough don't respect me, it got me handcuffed
The rough life, I just be up nights, breathin with scuffed nike's
Pour my beers for my peoples under the stairs
These years I got they names in my swears
Poppin cristal like it's my first child, lickin shots, holiday style
Rockin steele sweaters, wallaby down
Twenty-four carats, countin cabbage, like the arabs
The marriage of me and the mic is just like magic
Elegant performance, bubble lex full insurance
Guzzlin guinness shootin catchin cases concurrent
It's nas, seven hundred wives, king solomon size
We on the rise, me and g, ghetto wise guys
The luciano frankie aiel, bugsy seagal
Green papers with eagles from a trade that's illegal*singer*

brother you've got to make it happen
Yeahhhahhyeahhh, get this money, yeahhh
Brother you've got to make it happen
When you're living in the fast life, heyy yeah yeah

Verse three: g rap, nas
[rap] aiyyo my lifestyle's exquisite, yayo like a blizzard
[nas] it's choir attire standin on ground with one pivot
[rap] two players rockin silk blazers and diamonds like glaciers
[nas] lands with namebrand seats reclinin like in spaceships
[rap] bodies on ice
[nas] livin trife, rollin fixed up dice
[rap] gamblin grants
[nas] handlin stamps
[duo] moves are sheist
[nas] my bankrolls, got the cops comin in plain clothes
[rap] tryin to arraign again cause of our fame that's how the game goes
[nas] true
[rap] right out the slammer with the fame and glamour
Cookin up grams with arm & hammer supplyin scramblers in alabama
[nas] rub out faces and leave no traces
My aces got mad body cases, preserve spaces at the horse races
Servin us dom p my cliquo
Dimes with magnifico, puttin in cut inside ? perico?
Heat for foes, shoppin sprees with my fleet for clothes
In carribean suites, deep, rippin beats with flows
[rap] aiyyo, we went from standin on blocks, without some socks
Sellin rocks, to pickin up stock and boat docks with glocks
And got poppy seed fields with million dollar bills
Packin all the blue steel we keeps it real inside the battlefield
[nas] yeah so here's a toast to the funds and things
Gun smokes in rings, graveyards is buried with kings

Jedi Mind Tricks - Black Winter Day

It is the hottest song I've ever heard and its on the new CD! I sugguest you all get it when it comes out!

I thought the new cd licked balls because of the beats. And more the baby voice sample on almost every fuckin cut. [baby sample like in Jay-Z's 'hard knock life') I fuckin hate that shit.. Whatever it's called. It's played out! Quit it!

Only good one from the new cd i can think was the 'uncommon valor' or sumtin.. The vietnam song

They're playing Basketball
We love that Basketball
They're playing Basketball
We love that Basketball

(Now rapping Basketball Number 1 Kurtis Blow)
Basketball is my favorite sport
I like the way they dribble up and down the court
Just like I'm the King on the microphone so is Dr. J and Moses Malone
I like Slam dunks take me to the hoop
My favorite play is the alley oop
I like the pick-and-roll, I like the give-and-go,
Cause it's Basketball, uh, Mister Kurtis Blow,

Chours

I used to go to dinner, and then take the girl,
To see Tiny play against Earl The Pearl,
And Wilt, Big O, and Jerry West,
To play Basketball at it's very best,
Basketball has always been my thing,
I like Magic, Bird, and Bernard King,
And number 33, my man Kareem,
Is the center on my starting team,
(To the hoop, ya'll, Watch out, Watch out
In yo' face, now here comes the rest)

Clyde, Rick Barry, and Pistol Pete,
Now these players, could never be beat,
Isiah, and Iceman too,
Just give 'em the ball, and then you talk up too,
Dantley and Wilkins are on the scene,
And Ralph Sampson is really mean,
Bill Russell didn't take no junk,
and Darryl Dawkins got a monster dunk,
Tell me, were you in the joint?,
The night Wilt scored 100 points,
Or when Celtics won titles back-to-back,
And didn't give nobody, no kind of slack,
Or when Dr. J shook the whole damn team,
With moves that came right out of a dream,
Or when, Willis Reed stood so tall,
Playing D with desire, it's Basketball,

ahuhuhuhu huh! bd

Ah yes, the original.....not that completely "bitten" one that bow wow did. How can todays rappers remake a complete song, change 5 words in it & not pay the original artist any royalities?

I'm stuck in the past, today's rap music is so boring & uncreative...for the most part.

Artie Lange, sry bro...these tapes are one thing that I do not just give away. They are a definite "labor of love". I have spent over 20 years "diggin" for these tapes & some of that "diggin" has required alot of work so I hope u understand.
I will gladly trade with u, or anyone else....just pm me...we can work something out

Instead of learnin how to read and right,
these little n*ggas is lookin for some weed to light,
holdin they little heater tight,
I remember those days
until I went to prison, saw n*ggas die over old age
and all they wanted was just to be with their children
"Until all time is served, you may NOT leave the building"

-saigon-

How they got money to go war with whoever wrecked the buildings
And none for Africa's HIV infected the children
That mean the money for a life they can save
They rather use it to send a life to a grave
And that's not righteous ways
That ain't even half my brother, real
I could write for days, but I don't know how they might behave
You seen what they did to the 'Pac's, Martin's, and Marvin Gaye
Could you picture the Black Panther party today?
Usin' hip hop to say the same thing Marcus Garvey would say?
Imagine Malcolm X over a beat
Tryin' to rally up the troops and take control of the street
Still in the window holdin' the heat
But now we got soldiers on the corner like police patrollin' the beat
Fuck G.E.D.'s – N*ggaz need DP CD's
We don't need PCP; we don't need flat screen TV's and DVD's
We need more knowledge of who we be

Damn I wish I found this thread earlier!!! NY resresent! Hip hop is a way of life, its sad where it has gone. All the new commercial shit is total garabage R&B bullshit. It was one of the best wu shows I have been to, mainly because of the spot where I got to watch from (right on stage). Heres some pics from a cellphone taken by me and my friend who had the privalige to chill with the whole clan on stage. I also got to chill with ghostface after the show and shoot the shit with him. He gave me an autograph, and I gave him a nice fat sour diesel nug in return :yummy: . He sure loved the deez nug lemme tell ya :joint: .

The person with the mic is method man, and im sure some of you can make out who some of the others around us. Blurry pics, but you cant ask much from a cell phone
