Feed now up to 1.8 EC. Pretty sure I'd been overwatering previously, so am holding back a bit an not watering daily unless the plants are drinking (as shown by the pots feeling lighter).

Your plants are looking good. I did something similar on my current (and likely other) grows. Some over watering then I under watered! I up potted and found my soil much drier than it should have been. :( .

Thanks @blondie. They are stretching rapidly now, and drinking more. Relieved that they have turned a corner. The new growth is looking much better.

[EDIT - that "M.Kush" is actually an "S.Kush"]
Several of the regs have showed sex now. Syrian #1 and #4 are female, and #2 (the bushy one that spontaneously forked at the 3rd node) is male. Pineapple Kush is female. One of the Dance Word (RQS) x Buddah (MSNL) F1s is male, and showing nice dense flower clusters. This is a good sign for any offspring.

Holding feed at 1.8 EC. All are drinking well and growing rapidly.

Removed the most advanced male DW x Buddah last night. I'ts in a jar with water, and foil beneath to catch dropped pollen. Of the remaining, one is male, one female.

All 3 Medical Mass x White Rhino F1s are male. Ah well.

Looks like at least 2, maybe more, of the Dance World bx (DW x [Johaar x DW]) are male, and 2 of 4 Rhino D are declared male too. There will be no shortage of pollen.

Really like the form of the Syrians. They are fast developers, have strong chunky stems and just look vigorous. The male (S#2, which spontaneously forked) is particularly interesting. Has been a crazy few days and no time to take pics. Will update soon.

All the Dance World / Johaar backcrosses (DW x (Johaar x DW)) are also male. Again!! Ah well. The pollen must flow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get at least one female Rhino D... On the plus side, this will mean that I can free up some space very soon, which is needed.

Honey Cream is a beast. I hope she smokes half as well as she grows... There's a healthy and happy Royal Highness behind her that isnt even visible any more.

And here's a better pic of the Syrian #2 male.

Took some of the nearly-mature boys out of the flower space last night. Currently in exile in the bathroom. Theres normally an awkward bit in my grows where I'm juggling too many plants, and have various stashed in corners round the house.
  • Medical Mass x White Rhino F1 (3 males, varying heights, all early and vigorous). Shame not to get any females, but never mind. The MMWR F1 males have proven themselves as good sires in various previous crosses, and the most compact and stinky of these will be used to make seed with the Kushes, with the Honey Cream, and with the ACE CBD and Royal Highness.
  • Dance World / Johaar Bx (3 males, all still showing strong Johaar sativa influence on stretch and leaf crown formation, despite the bx to Dance World). Will cross the most compact of these to Royal Highness, ACE CBD, and the Syrians.
  • Syrian #2. Not decided yet what I'll pollinate with this (obviously I'll make seed with the 2 other syrians, maybe the Honey Cream and Royal Highness too)
This freed up some space, so I've moved the spare M.Kush into flower.

One Rhino D is still undeclared - I'm hoping female. I've removed all but the stoutest male.

Purple Highland Thai x Ethiopian still undeclared, and stretching like crazy.

Frozen some pollen batches from the Dance World x Buddah male #1, and culled #2, leaving #3, the female. Am pleased with how compact and early these are - I was expecting much slower development and longer internode distances. Both parent strains had excellent effects, so high hopes for some feel-good weed. Used a little fresh pollen to dust a lower bud on the S.Kush and the Honey Cream.

11 in flower currently, which is just about optimal for my setup. Will post more pics soon.

Moved the Honey Cream out of the way for a moment to get a clear shot of the Royal Highness. Elegant. I like the look of this one a lot.

Form of both the Syrian females is lovely. Here's the more indica leaning one. Responded well to fimming.

One of the Purple Thai x Ethiopian is male.

And one of the Rhino D is female  Will make some F2 Rhino D seeds, and still have 5 from the original pack left.

Rhino D x (Purple Thai/Ethiopian) would be ...something. Maybe an abomination.

Question for you.. how many days since flip to flower did it take for you to see pollen?? Your grow looks great!
Cheers @blondie :)

First pollen was from one of my hybrids, Dance World x Buddah, 12 days from flip. Nothing else has been so quick - its been just over 2 weeks now in total and the Syrian is the second to release pollen.

Thanks for the data point. I just removed a male from my tent. I found an open pollen sack on the fifth day of 12/12. Ughhh.

Great grow. Love to see you post, keep it up. ;)

Here's the cupboard today. All good, flowering up a storm. Highland Thai/Ethiopian is super stretchy. One each, male and female. DWxJ bx is next to it at the front right, Rhino D to the left. I've moved the remaining boys to the front where I can keep a close eye on them.

Playing pollen-chicken with the Rhino D.

Have been collecting pollen from the Syrian #2 male. Dusted a few small buds.

Honey Cream x Syrian #2
Royal Highness x Syrian #2
Pineapple Kush x Syrian #2
S.Kush x Syrian #2
Syrian #1 x Syrian #2
Syran #4 x Syrian #2
(DW x Buddah) x Syrian #2

Saving the spare pollen by freezing it. I've got good results after 9 months, but I think if stored well it can keep for years. Anyone else do this?

Having a pollen library is sweet - so when I get to grow out the offspring, if they are kickass I'll know I've got a good dad, or if everything the pollen touches sucks, likewise I'll know. & I can evaluate multiple offspring, with different mothers, to get an idea of what the Syrian will be bringing to the mix. The (Dance World x Buddah) x Syrian should be rapid, and fun. Hopefully not a dwarf - it was one of 4 or 5 in a small pot, so untopped, & so has only just got going now it has the pot to itself. Interested to see what it could do if given proper space from seed, with topping and training and 5-6 weeks vegging time. Shame the grafts didn't make it.

A little goes a long way.

I recently had pollen fail after six years in the deep freeze, but have had success with other batches at least as old.
