High Alpine Guerilla Growing.......

Update, High matenance plots.

Update, High matenance plots.

.....My dirt bike broke down, so I had to walk back to my campsite..So, im walking down the dirt road that leads to my site/plots...As one of the land owners in the area crested the hill behind me, in his truck,,,,,,,,with a state cop following behind!!!!!..Mind you, this is all private land, behind a locked gate..

I turned pale...

Said to my self, "its over"..Heart hit the floor of my stomach...I figured the guy had somehow found my crop, got pissed, called the cops, and so on...

Was getting ready to get picked up, right there,, on the dirt road,,,,,Smoking my last cigarette and sh!t like that...

As they approached, they didn't slow down, just passed by me..

Breathed a huge sigh of relief......Because I then knew why they were there..

There is this lonely hermit guy that lives on that road, like a half mile down from where the cop passed me..He is super unhealthy, and drinks a ****in fifth of booze a day....Was quite friendly with him, knew him quite well. He served his country in Vietnam, and wrote some cool children's books..

I felt great relief to see the neighbor, and cop pull up into his drive way..Yet felt bad, cause I knew what was comming..

I get to the guys house, and walk up to the cop, and neighbor...Was crazy because I had like a pound of freshly picked mushrooms in my backpack, and large MJ crops on the other side of the hill...Yet, it was chill, because it was now VERY apparent that they weren't there for me..

I introduce myself to the officer, tell him that I own property in the area and im stopping by to see if Mr. M is OK?...The cop was real cool,,,,,He says" well, Mr, M is lying on the floor, and we cant get in to see if he is OK...I said" sh!t!, hes not responding?"....Officer shakes his head, no...I then new that my buddy has died..

I tell the cop and the neighbor, that I could fit through the "doggy door" to get the front door open, as the whole place was locked..

I climb into this guys lil shack, and see him lying dead on the floor, it already stank like death.....Was the most horrific thing ive ever seen.....ever..

I got the door open, busted out of the shack... cop thanked me, and told me I was a big help...They "wouldn't have been able to get into his house, If I hadn't been there" he said.......I was glad to help, said good bye, and left..

I still had another 2miles to walk..About 10 minutes into my hike back to the camp,,,,, I brokedown...Tears and all..Realizing that life is sooooo precious, and I constantly take mine for granted...Looked at the beautiful forest scenery around me, I had one of those moments..At that point the gardens didn't matter, my girlfriend didn't matter, nothing mattered, accept the fact that I was alive, and blessed with the gift to simply be here...
......................................................................................................

Got some nice pictures for yall this time..Its a very exciting time of year..Alotta change is happening, all around me...

I hope yal enjoy the flicks..Got some garden shots this time..

Those were all from the small plot..

Many buds are coming on these alpine beauties.
You really did a good job there!
Sorry about your old buddy Mr M, sad story.

Late season minis...

Late season minis...

Late season minis are kicking right along...Some Chrystal, and Sensi Star in there..

Gettin supply's together for harvest, testing things, making sure everything is gonna run smoothly..

It always works like this,,,Im gonna be out of weed, and money, like a week after harvest commences..Perfect..

It kinda worries me though, being "all in", like this...

My plans of living in the field prior to harvest have been slightly changed...My Master kush plants are gonna need till Sept 25-30, and the Swiss Miss is gonna need till mid Nov...By then there should be three feet of f-ing snow!!!.....One of the SM plants is pushing 10feet tall, and 7-8 feet across, barely popping pistils in September......

I hope yall are well, and wish everyone a happy, safe harvest...

I gotta go buy a 10Pk of fiskars :headbange

What is with the plastic around the bottoms of the plants???? Seems like it would stand out from the air..... Awesome thread and great work. Picked up a few things from your efforts thanks! And good luck!

Nice grow you've got going there.. Lots of work and effort but it all seems to be paying off..
Ever considered growing Double Fun? (early, dutch Citral) This strain is becoming more popular in Holland, mainly due to its early flowering and mold resistance..

Hello family....

Thanks for yer comments and well wishes..

IrishSo:..Im prolly gonna change that up a lil next year,,,hide em better,,,This summer I really wanted the best sun exposure I could get...Problem isn't the choppers, its the sun dries the hell outta the soil...I dont have to worry about choppers as much as, say,,,Cali, so I can plant in some clearings...Trick in my state is to stay away from areas with high concentrations of hippys, thats where the choppers go..I dont think they went up this fall, in my state:confused:,,,maby a slim budget this year...

Just came back from sequestering myself in the Mtns for a wile..Had to get some smokable weed..
Things are looking well, plants are blooming out hard...the sweet purple is pretty much done, wile the Master Kush still needs two weeks+...

Got a nice trimm shack set up, with drying lines, racks, trimpro, and four man crew...We decided to work for an afternoon and took down over two Lbs in 2Hrs....The shack is a 10'x20' portable garage,,you could fit a LARGE SUV in it..so, plenty of room to work...Four men, is perfect for this setup, any more, and I would be paying someone to sit around, any less, and we would have to wait as someone hikes up the Mtn side to retrieve 2 more plants.,,,,Again paying the whole crew to sit around...

We took down some NICE sweet purple nuggs, Im pissed, I didnt save a cutting of that strain, and to grow it again, I gotta go through all the bullshit, you know..Its funny, the Sensi Star is not any where near as sugary/resin coated as the Durga Matta....Trade off is, the DM is loose, airy, and the SS is harder, dense and closer to being done...Expecting the first frost here in about 5days,,,

As far as the Master kush and Chrystal, the CH seems to be earlier, and better, but the MK is very vigorous,,large plants...The Mk is a lil too late for me though..They also dont like alot of nutes..Showing some waxy leaves.

Going back today...starting to work again a day or two after it freezes...

Will bring back alota nice guerilla harvest flicks...

Its landscaping fabric, They let water through...I use em to keep mud splatter down. They also do a great job of keeping the soil moist, they work alot like mulch,,

In this environment, the only cover I have is Pinon, and Juniper trees, there is little to hide behind...so In my mind,,,If a chopper flys over looking for weed, its inevitable that they would see them..Out here, its about planting where the choppers dont go...Not hiding yer plants from them...

Sounds like everything is moving along well. Cannot wait to see some post harvest pics.

I was wondering about the Sensi Star. You mentioned that it was not as resin coated, as you would have liked. What about potency have you had a chance to smoke any? They claim it is a knock out what do you think?

I am such a chicken shit but I have to post some pics this year. We had a ton of rain this year but so far (fingers crossed) I made it through the flooding.

This has been a great thread to read and you have done a great job on the grow. Make sure to give a smoke report on the strains you grew.

FP..Frost yet? You're a busy bee...no doubt...wishing you a safe and happy harvest..BL
P.S.I'm surprised to hear the durga mata is airy? Some of my new stuff is a little airy.I grew Paradises Rox this yr?You tried that yet? Not really a commercial strain but strong.

Hey Fast Pine, things are looking great! It seems like the last time I dropped by was when you were 1st starting up. All I can think is little seedlings in those holes, w/ your foot in the shot - now look at you!
I just feel so good for you, the set up was so labor-intensive, and to see it paying off for you just makes me smile!
Hoping the frost stays at bay for a while, best wishes, HL
