Update, High matenance plots and vespers...

Update, High matenance plots and vespers...

....spent the past two days listening to the water pump whine away,,,sittin in the middle of the woods waitin for someone to drive up on me pumping water into the remote forest...:biglaugh:...Once had a family ride up on me on there mountain bikes...(2005)..All would have been lost, had it not been for the hours of getting to know the other people that live in the area..The guy(father) asked who I was and what I was doing....Told him my name, and that I was pumping water to a small tank to take showers with....:nono:.....Long story short, my good reputation with the neighbors kept that guy from coming back to see what I was up too. Thank God...

Its been quite dry here...The spring rains started off with a bang, but quickly fizzled out....

Vespers is hurting, with the rain catcher down, and little rain to begin with, its gettin very dry up there..Dont think I will fill the remaining holes after all...

Its all up to the two high maintenance plots..Wile I was watering today, got hit by a brief hailstorm..Normally they dont hurt the girls too bad, but if one sets in, and starts dropping some large stones with some serious force, branches can break and leaves get punctured...
...............................................................
Vespers...(Low maintenance plot)

Ouch!....This plot doesent need to be photographed any more till they perk up,,,its just too depressing, ya know..
............................................................

High Maintenance plots(large one)

Keepin on with the heavy waterings...weekly.

I am very pleased to see that puting the mothers, and cuttings on a 15/9 lightcycle has kept 98% of my crop from prematurely blooming...

..

I had an elk run through my deer netting, and step on two plants...Totaly destroying one, and alllllllmost killing the other....Its OK though, next trip, imma double up the fencing...

The past two days, I went through two gallons of nutrients(grow big)...The bladder got bit by a dog, sooo I had to repair it with tape,,,needless to say, the back of my truck(carpeted) was quite wet!

Swiss Miss. The SM is soo vigorous..The tallest cuts by far!...Hoooope they finish...

This portion gets GREAT sun..

Been plucking and pruning like hell to achieve the current plant structure...Gotta keep the branches outta the mud, and the popcorn down, ya know:confused:...
................................................................

This is my hippy friends garden, These are the cuts I gave them...There smaller because they transplanted them a lil later than I did...Guy scavenged a bunch of supplies from my old garden...He did a pretty good job setting things up..This will be there first time growing MJ...

...................................................................
High Matenance plot, #2,(small one)

Swiss miss...Mother plant..been outside one week. Brought up two other mothers this trip,,,Master Kush, and Sensi star...They took a beating in the back if the truck on the drive up there, but they should be fine,,,,Its like the 5th trip ive made to the forest(3hour drive) with laaaarge plants in the back..

Master Kush

Swiss Miss

Chrystal...My best mom....Seeing her outside is nice..

Durga Matta, in front...

Sweet Purple...Bushing out nicely.....The SP is also very vigorous...I would say the durga matta is the slowest:confused:....The SP, is gonna start to bloom pretty quick here. These plants have been outside for a little over a month now....Im quite interested to see what the sensi star has up her sleeve...These intense UV rays are keeping them from stretching, they will be low bushy plants....Hope they will finish around four feet......donno, September 15 will be here sooo quick..

Thanks for the good vibes guys!...

Thanks..

Lets just hope they finish in time.....I would be very happy if/when they all start blooming here in about 2 weeks....They are doing most of there growing right now, while the conditions/temps are optimum...When blooming starts the night/day time temps are still quite high..The growth will be vigorous, the buds normally come in kinda loose and leafy..but the resin production is great!

Thats very good to hear..Just got a handful of Sensi Star cuttings to root for a nice late season crop..(Say, how was the bud density?,,,how tall did yers get?)...Just gotta find a place to put them to keep the mud off the bud's, ya know..Somewhere that has alotta grass...DAMN!, I wish I could grow in my back yard...For some reason, im itchin to play with a green house...This short season shit sucks...I would love to have 6+ months to grow..

Budluver...You have very good taste in genetics...

YES! I've always believed this is a good thing to do, it does seem to help the clones ease into the outdoor setting, and get to growing faster.
This is something I just didn't understand the first year I used clones outdoors, combined with a very rare "dark" summer, my clones had a dismal time trying to addapt.

Keep up the good work.

Its amazing to see the differences in climates. For security mine always have 4-5 foot of vegetation around them so airflow is at a premium. You do not have to worry about that but the grass is never really greener on the other side you have many other things to worry about.

You do a tremendous amount of work to your plots do you use any of those water retaining crystals in the holes? What is your experience with them?

The soil round here is such heavy clay,,,It retains water almost tooo well already..The problem is that the rain always has a hard time sinking into the topsoil due to its tendency to compact and stay dense...This is the reason I did so much work digging all those deep holes and replacing the soil with a mix of compost, potting soil, perlite, and fox farms American pride time release ferts..I add all this in the holes, and mix it up with about 4 shovels full of broken up native clay.....Free water polymers....

If I was growing in pots id prolly use em:confused:....

Goin back to water the high matenance plots again tomorrow...Will stay two days..Hopefully the ladies have been well..

Fast pine, there just isn't words for me to say how good this looks. On post 82, I made the second picture my background. You are doing an excellent job with these ladies. When they start to flower will you give them a big amount of flower nutrients? Or whats your feeding like...? I can just see you now, rollin down the ol' dirt road. Takin 3 hrs to get to your plot with some bushes in the backseat. I've driven about 20 minutes with some small ass clones, but in a very populated area and my heart was pumping. So you must have a rush every time you go to your spot! Great work bro, that friends garden look sick too! haha

Very impressive FP!! Just moved to this site and caught this at the right time! Very, very, admirable work, to say the least. In fact, this is quite the inspiration for a guerrilla grow...... I have about 60 outside now a bit North of you, but lower---they're WF Moon Flower and I 'll get a diary up soon. Thanks for the awesome show---we'll most definately be watching!!
