sick man. i like how all your plants are in your backyard just chillin'. it's just a matter of time 'til i can do that. yeah man, i have some plants a month old (outside) and one of them just drops like no other. been like that for over a week. it could be the heat, like you said, over here in cali. it also has the biggest leaves of all four...??.. don't know too much about the plants, but i'm guessing it could have something to do with the strain and the weather. good luck
Been almost a month since I updated here. I dunno...looking at some of the truly astonishing gardens here makes me think my backyard grow ain't no big thang. But hey, I've been documenting it since what, February? March? So it'd be cool to capture the whole thing here. So, here we go--my garden as of yesterday:
I've lost two big plants since my last update--the one that had been on the far left and the one that previously obscured the sadly visible tomatoes. Ever since then, I've been highly concerned about further losses, especially of the immediate neighbors, but so far so good.
Flowering has begun in earnest. Dig the pink bud on this white widow:
This is one of my shorter plants, but her buds are getting nice and frosty--not to mention stinky.
Yeah, I thought they'd be farther into flowering than than they are. Actually, the two that I didn't tie up are WAY ahead of those I didn't--so I guess training shocks the plants in such a way that delays flowering. Hoping the trained ones will be ready sometime around mid-October.
I trained this one oddly, and now her branches are flopping over from the weight. After I took this shot I stuck another tomato cage in the ground behind her and tied those branches up.
This one is Caramella. This shit is soooo tasty. Just wish I'd stuck more of those clones into the ground; this is the only one that grew to any real size.
Figuring out how to take macro shots:
More good times:
Still MORE good times:
I find the intense blue of these salvia flowers so striking near the red zinnias:
your plant's are looking wonderful npk. you've deffinetly done well this season. not too long and you will really be enjoying the company of them girl's.
Hiya Tunes! Yeah, I'm satisfied with the privacy, though I probably shouldn't say that until all the girls have been chopped. Fortunately my job allows me to work from home so I'm able to keep an eye on 'em most of the time.
Well, some of it looks close to ready now, but I don't want to make the common mistake of harvesting too soon, so I wanna give 'em at least another three weeks and possibly as much as five weeks. My crappy little Radio Shack scope conked out so I can't check the trichomes. Hate to keep shelling out $10 for those cheap things.
The terraces are looking great. Really starting to fatten up. You should get a little magnifying loop. They work well and last. Not real sure where to get them, I just inherited mine. You dont necessarily need a magnifying glass though.
Thanks man, I appreciate the props from a grower like you.
I was scoping out jewlers' loupes (haha, ouch) on eBay yesterday. You can get a 30X magnifier for around $15 with s/h, so yeah, that's what I'll probably end up getting.
