I thought the 707 was a selection from the seedline made by shar from 707 seedbank,gotta love the whole headband thing,probably one of the most confusing family of cuts out there lineage wise...dam theres a lot of different 'headbands' lol..... and what about the 2 cuts Riot used to make the plant i posted about as well,the 56 day headband and not so dogs headband..i've heard them talk about how they are both different to the 707 and loompas one,infact they said its certain that the loompa is just a very good og s1...tests very low on the thc comparably,like 16% i believe(not that that matters) but the other cuts that go around tagged headband are all way higher testing....

I am not surprised by the THC numbers given.
I think it an interesting illustration of how much things have changed.
When I first moved here, it was the most expensive cannabis in the shops
that I went to.
Can't imagine that being the case with a 16 % strain that today - but I
saw it happen then, and recall the strain as having been impressive.

I am not surprised by the THC numbers given.

Vigor is off the charts It’s very impressive and that’s why I’m growing it as far as touching numbers I can tell you to my own personal experience I’ve tried many many strains and this may be the strongest so there is some confusion going on here

wherever there is talk of headband there is confusion haha...but yer the real deal Loompa cut is def 16 % but people say its a heavy hitter,must be that set of terps ect creating one hell of a entourage ..i ran a u-dub x loompa hybrid once from dank genetics,Head shot i think it was called and every pheno of that made you sweat a little i gotta say....

Last I grew that had that terp profile was chemD x sfv og kush.

I've grown this cut out next to Ghost OG and can say this headband cut ain't got the typical "Kush scent" that ghost and all the other OGs put out. Hell I found more kush smell in the Headbanger runs I was doing. This cuts more chem91/sour d with a touch of chem d with crazy sour fuel.....hard to describe smells but the kush scent I'm talking about isn't the dank chemical fuel, it's the slight potpourri fresh carpeted scent the OGs throw and this cut don't throw that for me the way I grow it which is why I think this headband cuts danker then og kush less kush nose and more dank nose

I find it more than interesting that a 16% strain was sold as the strongest stuff available less than 20 years ago.

plently of 'low' potency cultivars that rip your head off when treated right man... for instance the real sour like 18%,real cheese 16-18%, i was just quoting riot with the loompa % thats all, we all know these thc levels mean shit (within reason) its all about the entourage effect...every one says the loompa is killer regardless of the testing,sure you'll make her shine @flower~power

The numbers certainly have meaning. It is just that thc is not the whole picture. It's obvious that certain combinations or even lack of certain cannabinoid and terpenes are responsible for what smokers consider potent.

I have seen several people comment on how their 15% to 20% thc stuff gets them higher than the 20% to 30% stuff.

If you start looking into the different effect of terpenes and how they play with each other it gets easy to see how complicated the subject can get.

Too much myrcene and any strain gets that lethargic high. Pinene is usually associated with a clear head type high. Consider the list of potential combinations and that one compound might add to or pull from the effect of another.

I think someday..... eventually these ratios will be understood enough to get away from the thc and cbd labels and get some numbers more reflective of the effects.
