yikes .. Well whatever it is it’s Loompa headband OG or not I don’t care it’s just a diary for myself I won’t even be able to show flowers for a long time
yeah it's really pretty confusing, I had some chem #4Xyeti that I only got to veg and it had more skinny leaf that looked like your cut, and the breeder's description said "most phenos display headband structure"
I only came across loompa's headband once in a dispensary and it definitely had OG in the nose but wasn't overly loud or anything and it didn't stick around long enough for me to try
then the headband that didn't have loompa's attached to the name that I have tried was really loud and a lot more in line with things like triangle kush and I95/chem de la chem
but then you find out that the chance of it being the legit AJ's headand is slim to none with the chances being closer to none
I think loompa made a cross and avoided disclosing the other part to it similar to the loompa strain simply called "gas"

OK so this is what I know to the Loompas Headband …It’s the mother of the clone that I have… grown by the fellow who gave it to me…Does this look like the Loompa’s that you guys know? ? …Like I said I’ve already grown it (this particular cut) out previously and it 100% Lemon gas fuel Pine-Sol and stupidly and Incredible Hulk potent …also great yield ..let me know you opinions

Looking thru the LHB thread I saw the old veg pictures you posted that had the typical OG five leaflets. But then leaves and nug structure can change a bit when you're growing it as an indoor tree lol, not so easily recognizable !
I think you're right the cut you grew a few years back is fitting Loompa 100% as the nug struture looks just like a bulkier OG, and the aroma description also match with it.
But the veg pictures you posted today are more confusing than the old ones in the thread, it looked more like a Diesel than OG. Doesn't really matter as you will know in a few months if it fit what you had as Loompa before.

It’s just coming out of a tiny rapid rooter let’s see if when it Vegs more it will revert to the kind of familiar leaf traits

If you got your cut from who I think you got her from, then she originally came from Chaco, labeled as just 'headband'. Fair speculation that it's Loompa's cut. The description sounds pretty spot on. Imo very clearly an OG/sour hybrid that leans heavy to the OG side, but with that loud sour d fuel note on top.

When I finally get around to flowers hope to put on a decent grow show for you guys..I’m in Central new York & she finished for me out doors by the end of September Which is one of the reasons I need to get a mother plant put into place that’s part of the bigger plan
Always been curious about loompas hb. Back in.....I dunno...07-08 a member here had a couple seeds he said were s1s from lhb. One of those s1 seeds turned into holy grail level herb for me. I could taste both chem and og distinctly! (I've never smoked loompas cut) it was amazing. Now, due to....other substances at the time, dude lost his plants, and I've been chasing that dragon ever since! Lol. Gonna do another seed project this summer to try and track something like that down. Hope to do it without involving lhb, as loompa is such a cracked out p.o.s. bitch. Lol.
The super early transition and finish outdoors is one of the most unique aspects of this girl. Who ever heard of an OG that finishes in Sept? Or sour for that matter. This would be one of the easiest ways to confirm if it is in fact Loompa's cut or not. Someone should ask him or anyone with a confirmed cut when it finishes.

I've only come across one other headband cut in my area worth speaking of and it had all the fuel and dankness with a ton of kush nose. Michigan Monster cartridges were the ones running that headband cut super dank and you could smell and taste the kush in that cut. At the time I was running motorbreath15 the og cut and that cuts sour fuel dank but that headband they were running was a bit louder. I always assumed that was the loompa cut because the heavy kush on backend.. I was getting the other headband were talking about from my local dispensary and they had to keep it behind the counter because nothing else would sell if the headband was on display. The cut were talking about is more dank and raunchier then that other one but the headband cut they were running was dank as hell to like best og I ever smoked type stuff
