you can make a clone give male flowers by sraying with 'stamen-it' by pg-solutions and have it flower another clone.. you might get intersex, or herms in the first or second generation, gotta breed it out.

Why can't someone like Rez Dawg just get some clones, induce nanners on them, and just fem some seeds for the public. They could be ready in 90 days.

if headband is in fact related to chemdog (ive heard it is a cross or actually is chemdog, just a different phenotype, but who knows??), then feminized seeds would be unworkable, if i understand it correctly.

i actually had the displeasure of passing up headband awhile back, before i had heard about it.

has anybody tried the weed sold at the gray area coffeeshop as headband. i tried it in march and whatever it was it was crazy stronq really covered in resin it could be the most densely covered i have ever seen the smell was also totally out of control pure nasty acrid sour d smell. so i have never been to the u.s.a so i have no idea if this is the headband strain your talking about but what ever it was it was amazing even at 16euro a gram .anybody got any ideas of what it is ???????????????????

I also wanted to just clarify some things for everyone out there.I know this is gonna come up, so Ill address it first. The headband I have is very very special. Shes not the 707 cut. Beyond that...I dont know anything. Is it the same headband that is referred to in the chemdawg family drama? Dont know. I had always assumed it was THE headband referred to by Jason king, but with so many cuts of everything popping up, who the fuck knows. But what I do know is Ive grown alot of herb over alot of years, and this HB cut for whatever it is, grown properly, goes to another level. The only herb Ive found that parralels her are hazes, and those you gotta go 14+ weeks generally to get that next level thing going on. So Ive kept her for years. Found her in april 2005 before chemdawg even started to dominate the boards. When I got the cut at the time I had no idea what it was. Then jason king came out with volumn 3 and I saw 2 pics of HB, one flower shot and one dried nug . My cut looks extremely similar to the flower pics in the cannabible and the dried herb looks Identical to the dried herb pic in the cannabible and at that time in history, thats all I knew, and that I had obtained a cut named "Headband". Thats the story and thats all I know.

As far as the chemdawg cut I have, like Ive said before, was obtained from some connections in oregon. They are a crew that used to run together on the dead scene during the late eighties and on till jerry died. Did they obtain the cut on tour? I dont know. I cant say its the one from the stories at all. But I cant say its not, just that...I dont know. It came labelled as chemdawg from a group of people not connected to anything online. Other than that...its special enuff to keep her around. And she is a stellar preformer outdoors, which is another reason she holds alot of weight with me. She still comes in in the first week of octberish, but the final herbs are so resinous and gooey. Shes seriously heads and tails above trainwreck, mist, afgooey, mr nice, hashplant, GDP, purple trainwreck, fake bubba and any other commercial clone circulating around humboldt and ran outdoors. So Ive kept her and shes proven herself over and over again. I did run the moondawg outdoors and indoors last year, and the outdoor was stellar. Needless to say, Ill be growing her again this year.

I also just need to mention that what one person thinks is dank, is swag to someone somewhere. Everything is relative to your experience. Both these cuts above are predominanttly sativa heady highs. They both can cause sweaty palms and severe choking/coughing. They will elevate your heart and get it pounding. For some, this is not good, especially those with severe anxiety.

I'm sure this will be removed as some folks don't want you people to know what should be obvious to anyone with even half a brain. THE OG AND CHEM strains were around way way before the story everyone knows or think they know. Even before, "oh my god no!" people on the net heard of them!! "What this is an outrage" . "Remove that post!!!". "My point is people, is that this is the internet. There are some really super fuckin strains out there grown by people who never ever ever go online. Who ever they are, as old as the chem and og strains seem to be, lets hope they are still out there breeding as what ever it is they are working on now must be really really out of site! Lets hope!! So get out there and befriend an old hippy or Native American or Vietnam vet. You just might get lucky!

wow.. another diesel thread I couldnt get through all 13 pages.. since it seems its the same old discussion. so here's my input..


1st it doesnt make any sense for headband to be the most powerful or tastiest herb.. period. why? because sour diesel, chemdawg, snowdawg, headband,, it all comes from the same place.. same peeps.. so if you were those peeeps.. and you grew or helped a network grow the best weed in NYC for 10 yrs or more.. Would you grow SD and chemdawg.... saving the best (inyour case headband)? or would you grow the best weed possible.. since your trying to make the most cheddar?

I think it makes sense that the reason sourdiesel came out first.. then chemdawg.. is obvious.. they were the best most profitable clones in the eyes of the original keepers of the cuts. Sour diesel for its unbelievable flav.. daytime high.. and yes weight (compared to other elites say Bubba)... chemdawg came out.. and it was obvious why.. because after 10 yrs or whatever.. people started to knock the diesel.. (high doesnt last long ya da it gets boring to smoke the same thing.. ya yd da)

now your reading that Headband is truly the best?? doesn't make sense to me honestly.. if anything it seems its just huge hype to push an new strain.. ... did you not read the crap in the first post?? its all med club hype.. because just like coke coming out with a new craptastic new flavor every year... the clubs do the samething to keep interest up.. its called the law of diminishing returns. The more steak you eat the less you want it. so they are serving up chicken now.. and calling it filet mignon.

try searching for " the hype of og and bubba kush" on youtube. whether the vid is real or not.. it goes to show you that med clubs=hype and marketing.

I went on a pot vaca about 3 years ago.. every club I went to (at least 20) had some kinda bubba or OG ... but most all was some og cross or whatever.. its really just putting a name on whatever you can buy.

i dont know why all the bay area cuts have to be hype... i have lived in the west bay my entire life and know for a fact that hippie headband kush has been around for a LOOOONG time as my dead head dad was smokin that shit when he was going to oceana high school. OG, definately not hype...get some good OG and look urself in the mirror after you smoke and say its hype(if u can)bubba is supposed to be a norcal cut from some fuckin hicks in the woods, imean bubba kush would be a rather appropriate name for it if this were the case. and from my understanding almost all of these cuts share some genetics with chemdog. there are a lot of assholes passing around subpar cuts and meds alike that are putting alot of sauce on them. but there are people pushing subpar cars putting a lot of sauce on em. subpar food, guns, electronics, smoking utensils... don't get hustled and you'll be alright and as far as headband being the most rope out of all of them...i couldn't tell you that definitively. my boy just pumped out a batch of chemdawg,sourd,headband, and for the fuck of it crossed up a sour d with an og last cycle and threw those in there too... the OG cross had more of a mike tyson effect than all of the others. i don't think yall should focus so much on the hype and focus more on gettin the real deal cuts!

Chem D gets 5 flat, i can get 7 grand for some of that loompa headband all day. Its funny ounces fly in cali all day at 500 an ounce for that loompa headband. Chem d is about a step below.
