well the whole plant is pictured and seems to be dialed in phenomally like how i see medic and loompa do it. its just one of those things were i just saw it and new what it was, like when people see pictures of bubba kush, you just know thats bubba. the lankyness and the traits and there is only one strain that looks like, hence why no one else posts that candy kush cutting.. and i have the same cutting from the same crew from willow creek.

ive to been a guy names medics growhouse, were had many many many plants that looke just like that. Called pure kush long time ago, now its just pure candy kush or just candy kush. those maroon stripes long internodes, though little goldfball dense kush nugs. Smells like mega skunks, though there is something sweet about it at times, when its done right organically. Its the best weed you can burn.. that same cutting up there., pure kush = Socal candy kush.
Yeah Medic and Loompa hit it with that one. Got a nice pheno off of those beans. Really great weed. With some good yields am i right blackbart.
Well I been growing for over fourty years Rondawg and I have grown so many different strains ... elites... what have you and this one has got my attention and that doesn't happen everyday . I'm going to be working with it indoors and out . The pic I posted was not the best because I started late in the season and didn't get the full maturity of the plant like I wanted . Still with clear to cloudy glandular trichome color she is a rocker . I love the high calyx to leaf ratio . Trimming is almost non existent on this beauty. Loompa and Medic have got a real diamond on there hands . Look for updates from me ... It will be awhile though .

Originally "Headband" was a strain grown from new yearly seed stock at the Rainbow Farm. Unless you knew some or met any Rainbow kids from the Farm u probably haven't heard of it before Jason called it one of the his favorite smokes ever on the inside cover of High Times. The Headband he is talking about is the Headband that has been around the Triangle for quite a few years.
As for buying from the clubs "caveat emptor" , IMHO every group has to take some responsibility for the situation the clubs are in. I know myself right now have some DJ Short Blueberry and Cocoa Kush mislabeled together. If one of the clubs i deal with called me up begging me for cut id let them know of the situation. Even then i suspect they would take them because there are people at the shop asking whydont you have any clones when it says you sell clones. Supply and DEMAND! Some people just have to Have things one way or another.
Well anyway if anyone wants the Headband we got come to the Doesha Cup in L.A. on Dec. 5. We will be having a booth with live cuts including Headband.

ive got/grown the the 707 HB, loompas HB, loompas 91, chem 4, chem d, abusive, sfv etc etc. IMHO none of those cuts hold a candle to loompas HB. ive been growing loompas HB for just about 2 years now. the only thing on the same potency level is the d.
loompas HB is a plant from another world in the fact it will turn out different from grower to grower. it will take all the PK you can give her.
el gato told me he smelled lemony tones in it after his first run. when mine and the 7 others who hold the cut smells nothing like that. the variation between growers/mediums/nute levels is what determines the type of high/flavor it gives.
foe & EG- hope you guys are enjoying that cut. HB or not for raw potency the only thing that comes close is the ch whating on a thirdem D. IMHO loompas HB has the edge over it but not by much.
the 707 is like someone said here before its the 2008 arcata TW. shit is everywhere here.
when i show/smoke people what loompas HB looks like they agree its a totally different cut and better.

I've tried both the 707 and loompa's Headband, the 707 isn't any better than the Sour D and the Loompa's HB is on par with the Chem's I've tried.Headband is just the latest hyped up flavor, just like OG Kush and Sour D.
Sounds more like personal opinion and hype rather than indisputable facts

these kind of threads are stupid imo. What defines "Best". If it is potency alone that is a sad goal to set out to achieve. What if your strain blows you away but you develop a tolerance to it quickly. Or, the strain rocks your world for hours but you crash hard. IMO fine herb is bred for many factors other than potency, that should come near last.

I have heard ridiculous things about this strain. "it made my friend vomit and quit smoking weed"... my sister in-law actually did quit smoking for a while cause she thought it was affecting her depression; heard of people in NorCal paying thousands for a cut of the real deal, etc. etc.
Ultimately I figure, and hear from folks in the know, that it's no 'better' than a good sourD or trainwreck or chemD or any of the top strains...but honestly hype or not, all that crap makes me want it that much more

16euro a gram == holy crap that's expensive. It's certainly not impossible or even unlikely that a coffeeshop as old school as gray area has connections up in the triangle and got some out there. At those prices I would assume they would horde it and keep charging top dollar. I'll have to stop by and try it next time I'm out there.

Yeah what are you running. 707 isnt any better than sour d? You must be running IBL rookie. My ECSD and OSD aka Amish Diesel crush pathetic commercial humbodlt 707. Real candy kush or loompas headband is what every breeder and true head wished they had in his garden. From what you said above you show that you truly know nothing about fine cannabis. Those that have the cut like Loompa, Medic,, Mt. John, Mota chucked it as he said it was too much to handle extreme sativa, said its the best kush diesel one can ever and will burn.
