London Lemonade Time!!! Heck Yeah. Out of bier...can't leave house...roar. So Gin & Lemonade it is. Vodka lemonade would be my preference, but gone drank all that couple weeks ago. Trying to clear the bar out before a restock. The Gin has been seating there way too long, been thru a couple moves even. Time to do some work on it. Obviously not my preferred beverage. Out of rum, vodka, whiskey, bourbon, and everyday wine. Got bunch of great wine (red, white, sparkle) but not really the day to break into them.

Finally crept into the nineties. Rained yesterday so it is a steamy mess out there with no wind movement. yay

Just whiskey in a cup for me, one ice cube three fingers. Have a good weekend hatch. Do your bunnies ever chase the chickens?

Wathen's is my goto whiskey. With or without an Icecube is good with me. $24 a bottle. Otherwise wheat whiskies have been treating me well this year. Always done for whiskey/bourbon

The bunnies love to chase the chickens around. They charge at them, then turn at the last moment. You should see them when they get let out!!! They all go charging out, bunnies stop to say hi to me, get run over by chicks. Then after greetings, bunnies are off, hopping and running back and forth across the yard. Think they like to hear the chickens pwock & sqwuak!

Know the variety now: Stapelia lepida....Carrion Flower.
The seed pods are finally ripe. Cut a pair down this week, seeds are good to go. Six more pods , grab a couple more leave the rest to naturally do their thing.

5 gallon one

http://www.hightimes.com/read/organic-compost-tea-big-buds-naturally

Aquarium aerator does work with 5 gallons!

depends.... the pump MUST keep the dissolved oxygen content (DO2) religiously maintained at or above 6 PPM.
This is the minimum level required to support aerobic organisms.

aquarium pumps dont keep aerobic life alive in most cases...
hell, no pump at all will give you an anaerobic tea....
which at that point you might as well save the electricity and just continue to make the lechate tea...
and use it as a lechate, as the aerobes arent likely there in any major number anyway.

Going to be over a 100*F here today... Got up early and buried my pots half-way with some soil and then covered the tops/sides with straw. They'll root into the soil around and under them, and the straw will keep things a little cooler inside the pots. Want to avoid severe heat stress/drying out of the roots this year.

Chickens and bunnies home moved to under a group of trees. Not a one man job, but that's all I got. They get no direct sun now, and a decent breeze, will keep them cooler/happier/healthier. Almost egg laying time for them!!

I'm ready to chill inside for the day, head out for a swim round four. Got a book, half-gallon of iced tea, and plenty of cannabis.
