I have to save my vote for now, but I have a question.

Is there any specific place where a guerrilla grower can go and get some advice or maybe even some counseling or support from their peers?

I mean, say I'm starting to get really paranoid (Unreasonably So) about finding and prepping a grow spot, and I need some wisdom and support from other guerrilla growers,
Is there a specific place I can/should post such a thread?

Will extra long thread titles be displayed in the forums, similar to
"Any Guerrilla Growers have trouble with with unreasonable paranoia while selecting and prepping a grow spot?"
It would be a Guerrilla Grow specific question, aimed specifically to other Guerrilla Growers who have had similar experiences and can give advice, counseling, support, etc... based upon their own encounters or experiences.

Right now, I wouldn't know if I should post such a question up in the outdoor forum, or in the security forum, or in the den, crashpad, etc...

I would feel comfortable posting such a question in a Guerrilla forum.

Well, im my self guerilla grower for many many years now.

I do not see so big need (but it wont hurt) to exist guerilla sub forum.

What is so important and different in guerilla growing ?

-Finding place
-Watering
-Soil
and that is ....

on all that, generally I can answer you in one post
with 2-3 variety of each.

Also, any beginner who want to try outdoors
goes for guerilla.
Most beginners wont listen to you, so its useless
giving him advice.
Many things in guerilla you need to do by logic,
if he need forum for advice than something isnt right with him.
Guerilla grow are different in soil, way of watering,
finding secure place and if man are to lazy to read so
many great posts on this board than it wont help him
sub forum not main forum not even to be admin of this board.

I vote Yes, because only guerilla grow are not
separated of outdoor grows.
Would it help to other guerilla growers, hardly !

i posted this question in another forum and got no replies so i,m hoping maybe i might get alittle info in this guerilla grow forum. by the way this guerilla growing site has some good info, i hope people will keep adding to it. anyhow, my question is if somebody that has some experiance with growing in smart pots can help me out with a good soil mix that will work in 20 gall smarties. i do plan on using polymer crystals in my soil mix but i,m interested in a mix that is not to light and airy. i,ll have water close by so thats no big deal there. my grow site will be about 35 miles or so away so i will be able to visit the site once a week. the soil is way to rocky to dig holes or else i would go that route. i,m making my own smarties and i would like to start experimenting this month here at home with a soil mix so i can be ready for next year. i will be spending these upcoming winter months to haul in what ever i will need for my soil mix. one other thing i should mention is that the summer months here are in the 3 digits for about 2 or 3 months, thats the critical period i,m most worried about. thanx for any and all replies!!!!!!

I see there are a lot of want to be guerillas in here. Can tell by their post that Finding a Place, water, soil. If you think that's all it takes. You haven't did a guerrilla grow. Or maybe my definition of a guerrilla is different from yours.

Planting seeds at patch proved to be very easy. Keeping seedlings alive is another story. Close to 300 were eaten. I've learned a lot. Next year I'm probably caging them close to the holes they will be planted in. Sort of kinder garden patch. 30/40 per cage and when they reach 1/2 meter they will go into the holes. I'm also experimenting with various home made protection sprays for deterring mice and deer.

Some strains proved to be more resilient then others. For example on picture above X18s are eaten to the bone while Ciskey Bushman wasn't even touched. I had great success with Purpurea Tichinesis.

From this batch which was planted in early April

I now have this:

I have yet to visit my Purpurea T. open pollination patch where I planted another 30 or so seeds directly into the ground.

:thank you:

Sowed directly into the ground at patches?

Probably around 250.
40 Bushman X F13
40 C99
30 F13
30 DC
20 X18
30 Purpurea Tichinesis (open pollination patch)
...

I lost most of them, including the ones sowed at home.
10 Mosca MachFly
15 DJ Short FLO
10 OG Kush
10 OG Kush x Blockead
10 DC x C99
5 HoneyWhites

When sown at the patch most of them will sprout but after that they're just not prepared to survive in the wild. Mice and other wild life eat it. I'll test a lot of methods next year to keep the alive. Spraying with home made cocktails (neem oil, chili, garlic, ...), urine spraying, caging...

It was a learning experience. I was constantly sowing after seedlings got eaten away. I had seeds prepared and soaked when I went to the patch to check, so they could be sown immediately. Some strains were preferred over others but this might also be because concentration of animals was bigger at one patch than the other...

So my guerilla season ended. I hope it was as fun for you as it was for me...
