I just read all 15 pages to get caught before I posted on this thread, I few thoughts.

-First off, can I say that SGT Greenbud is a beast. Only in Cali, thats how WEEE do!
-Second, Fatty, I love the upgrade, thats gets first place in the best HydroHut upgrade in my book.
-Third, I own the HH mini and the original, and have seen the Homebox alot at the OCBC. All I can say is buy a Damn a HYDRO HUT. Whoever said that the HH was a cheap knock-off of the HomeBox is just plan wrong. The HH is stronger, just as easy to set-up, has just as good of zippers/tent material and its CMEMORYER, nuf said, end of debate. It looks like almost everyone on here has a HH anyways, so that speaks for it self right there.
-I hate to burst the bubbles of the people who say that a DIY can be done for cheaper and the same quality. IMPOSSIBLE. I will paypay anyone the cost of my HH and the cost of their materials if they think they can build a tent with the same quality as the HH mini for under $200. I want zippers, vents, lights mounts, flanges, high grade material, TOOL FREE CONSTRUCTION. I am serious, I will pay, bc I hate when all the DIY (and I am one too) who just look at a picture of something whithout knowing anything about it and just say I can build one better. So do it, cause it cant be done for the ease of use, quality and price that these offer. Everyone says make it out of wood, last time I checked wood aint that cheap these days (thanks China), and I am sure that tent material and the sewing zippers into the stuff anit that easy either, and dont give me that trash bag crap, that just amatuer hour if you ask me. Any you will still have to buy nails/screws, hammer, drill, bits etc and put it together and it better be able to be taken apart too. Until a DIY can come with all this for $200, PLEASE just shut about I can build one myself. You probably can build one yourself and guess what its a peice off i shit compared to the HH.

I had to get that out Flame on. Flame on.

thats funny, I was just going to ask if anyone has actually answered COBO's original question.

Heh COBO, I am about to go buy something very similar to what you are asking about, at OSH for a mother room right now. I will try to get some pics and more info. I know that it has some shelving, operational top and window flaps (outdoor/indoor use) and its under $100. I think with some mods it can be made to work very well and its huge. I will get more info and pics and try to get them up. peace dj.highst

heh ommid, I have never used the HH deluxe, but from what I have seen I think you could run 2 1000W or 3 600W with no issues. The HH deluxe is a pretty big tent. peace dj.highst

i kind of like that tent, it has easy access, you can cover or show off the ladies. i like the idea of keeping my mothers seperate. i love building my own stuff but have great appreciation for somthing thats quick and easy and solves the problem. i see all that. it has hangers for lights vents and a caddy to store things. if you put it in your walk-in closet you could even have clothes in there!!! what a thought!!! a closet with clothes!!! AHAHAHAHA not in my closet!!!ok, maybe if i had that tent i would. its up to you. looks nice and EASY.

I use mine for mothers... works great. :)

Awesome reflective power here... this 400w feels like a 600w+

ive been told you can use 1000w in them hydro huts , what you think ????

P

PonicalChillin

hell ya.

4x4 hut = 16sq ft x 50w per = 800w

A 1000w would give you a great 62.5 watts per square foot. Perfect if you can keep it cool.

peace,

i read on another forum the Hydro Hut Deluxe models that say they can hold 2 1000 watt lights overheats like crazy....do u guys use Co2 in these Huts?

I think the 1000 watt would certainly be doable in even a mini, if the light is aircooled with a 6inch 256 cfm fan dedicated only for the aircooled light and another 4inch fan exhausting the box... im thinking of trying this out myself...
