Beautiful flowers!

For some reason I'm really digging looks of currylatto 6. Not sure why.

Core too. I saw koondense post pics of an excellent Core. Not sure if it's same hydro cut or not.

Thanks bro :tiphat: Don't know if he's growing Core cut, but it could be. It's pretty common to find it across the EU. For what I heard it could be a SSH and not an AmnesiaHaze. Strong smell but it misses some aroma, especially aftertaste imho.

Very nice flowers and AWSOME updates as usual bro ....

Very nice

Thanks a lot :tiphat:

Nice buds

Thanks to you too :)

Update about Spumoni. Today they finished the 56th day of flowering and all of them have already been flushed. So overall this strain it's pretty fast, they will end with no more than 70 days with a good ripening.

I took some time to smell the resin for a first feedback. All of them are pretty similar with some differences, main smell is kush/musky/earthy. It does not hit you with a strong fragrance like an exodus cheese would do, but the smell is very persistent. Once some resin is stuck on the fingers, I can smell it after minutes, the same earthy musky smell.

Just one pheno has something more sweet along the kush and another pheno has something like balsamic, menthol like.

Overall I would say smell is interesting.

On the growing side I liked Spumoni. It's easy to grow, nothing too strange, just some nanners at first stages of flowering and a few at late flowering. Intersexual traits are there and not so latent, but there is a lot worse around, so nothing really to complain about.

Flower's shape is awesome. They grow dense with big calixes even in hot climate, a good resin coverage, very good leaf/bud ratio. Stretch is in the average I guess. Branching is limited, they would not make a lot of branches so there is not a really need to clean/prune them a lot.

On the growing side I'm not disappointed at all, I can feel there is some quality in the gene's pool. Last word will be the smoking aroma. If I'll be able to find something good keeping a lot of terps when smoked, then I found a temp. keeper, which will be further grown to know and understand if it could be a real keeper in my mom list...as usual.

Here below Spumoni #1 at 56 days 12/12

Few words about this pheno. Branches have been bended down, cropped, trained and the plants was reacting really really well. I can feel vigor in it. Flower is really good looking and it's like a little rock. Maybe the one I like most on the growing side.

This pheno is faster then others and also seems to have slightly more resin and smaller flowers. Should have start to flush it earlier.

Impressed how, with peaks of 32ºC, this strain went for its way, without giving a fuck of the summer heat, producing hard dense rocks. I don't use AC and min. temp didn't go down 20º, so this is also what a grower expects from an expensive seed. Hat off for you the plug.

Being the Spumoni and Currylato good plants and overall I like'em I decided to give ThePlug Seedbank a second run and I bought a couple of their crosses with WeddingCake.

Strains are Baklava (Wed.Cake X Gelato) and ForbiddenFruitCake (Wed.Cake x ForbiddenFruit)

Seeds were put between wet paper towels for 24 hours and all opened their shells. Then they were moved in some coco and perlite, covered with 1cm layer and after 30 hours they were all sprouting for a new life under some led light.

The useless but happy packaging

Such beautiful plants as always man ...

I can’t stand when a strain loses quality from the heat...

Thanks buddy and yes, me too. When I see fluffy and not so resinous buds I already know that pot will be shit. I made many mistakes in the past (also now btw) like growing dwc in summer and I know it...but well, mistakes are mistakes and they are useful at the end.

Currylato reached 60 days flowering, they need more time to finish, like 10 days for the faster phenos and maybe 20/30 for the longer one. They still need some time to show the beauty in their flowers, but I'm pretty confident they will make it.

I will make the last update at harvest and I will post my impression about the smell.

This pheno has more tendency to branching, so it ended with many smaller buds but still looks good overall.
