Sapphire Crystal #5 - 70+ days

At 70+ days it still had many white developing flowers. Look good with a good resin coverage and its smell it's maybe the more interesting, it smells a little kushy but it also has some lemony, green apple smell, fresh and sour. It's complex and I like it.

Last strain of this selection run is WeddingCake x TriangleKush Bx3 by Seed Junky.

Once again I liked Seed Junky's work. I ended with only two females, both of them very similar and with a good appeal and smell, probably more TriangleKush leaning than Wed.Cake.

WeddingCake x TriangleKush Bx3 #3 - 70+ days

Very stretchy plant with dense and hard buds. Resin could have been more, little leafy. Smell is mainly kush, maybe a sweet kush more than sour or fruity or anything else. It's not strong but it's nice. Seems to be a low yielder.

Wedding Cake X Triangle Kush Bx3 #4 - 70+ days

Very similar to #3. Stretchy, dense flowers, maybe better resin and slightly different smell. Balsamic kushy, maybe a little sour.

Probably a better yield than #3.

For those interested here some CurryLato shots. They're plant from seeds at 29 days from the switch. Not so much to say right now...as usual I did a couple of hours of male flowers hunting, with green light and white light and I found few...I was expecting them.

Spumoni turn now. Like CyrryLato I also found nanners and male balls, even more than CurryLato...I will check them again in a week.

Seems to be a standard nowadays, some genetics lines are more prone to go hermie but overall it's not easy to find a ''hermie free'' offspring. On the other side I must admit that sometimes it could worth grow them taking precautions about male flowers.

About the topic I still have to decide if keep or not the SecretMint#2 (SecretCookies x KushMints #11). It produces few male sacks and nanners at first stage of flowering, then apparently (at the moment) it goes till the end with no more issues.

It has something good, lot of resin, nice shape and a decent aroma, so I'm waiting this clone will be ready to be smoked and finally decide if it need to be kept or thrown away.

Here at mid-flo, still not a real bud but already frosty.

Same story, with less hermie issues, for the OGKZ #3. Really nice smell, nice resin and shape but maybe a lack in the taste. Will see this second run how it goes.

Spumoni and CurryLato by ThePlugSeedbank are going to be ready in a short period of time. Spumoni seems to be faster overall, Currylato will maybe take around 70-75 days.

Both are producing interesting smell and buds. I feel there is some nice quality in these lines and I'm happy with them at the moment.

I will post more pictures soon, here just a Spumoni #2 at late flo, approx. 45 days. It smells of somewhat between milk and plastic and it has a nice flower shape, or at least I like it.

Here some old clones now discarded. I took some pics to show how they look after 2 and a half months under a little dome. A little pressed, some yellowing but overall they would have been ok to be transplanted.
So the thing is pretty easy and it gives me the chance to take a lot of clones in a relatively small space, while the moms are flowering.

Stardawg (Illuminati cut)
It's in 1 liter coco&perlite but it has nice buds for that small size pot. I'll wait till the end for a good aroma description. I guess it will need 15/20 days more.

OGKZ spent less time in flowering than Stardawg and it's also promising. I want to check if this pheno is really worth to keep or not.

picture.php

SecretMint is the other plant I want to check out for the second run like ogkz. I'm not sure I will keep it, will see soon.

CurryLato #6 started its life as the ugly one. Well, it's not a swan now but overall it has a nice sativa-hybrid look. Will take longer to ripe compared to other currylato phenos, let's say it's a long flowering one. Saw some strange yellow on some leaves (probably genetic related). Growing in 3 liters coco&perlite.

I'm not satisfied with my hydro setup (whenever?!) and I'll switch it to a different version in the next future. At now I decided to try coco&perlite like old times. I used thick fibers coco, it's made by u-gro and it's sold in a black plastic bag, 60 liters, compressed. I like it.

Added some perlite, zeolite, basalt, biochar, kelp, spirulina, alfalfa, pinch of azomite and a product made by bionova called micro-life ended with a enriched coco&perlite. I will use Canna coco a+b and probably nothing else.

Basically I added part of the product I use to make supersoil.

These clones reacted very well to the mix, they're now at one 1 week vegging under a CHM 315W in 7 liters pot and they will be moved in flowering room very soon.
