Great man! As usual...

I'm really courious about SxPC, the buds look really frosty and i wonder how buds like those can smell. Any info about the flavors?

Rep+, well deserved.

Amazing plants! Good job!:good:

Thanks guys :tiphat:

SxPC I'm smoking it right now and well the first smell coming in my mind is lavender. Opening the bag and grinding a bud I can smell it pretty strong. Some hints of lemon/gas/kush too.

Smoking it the ''lavender'' stay strong in the aftertaste and that's what I like more. Not the best weed over all but a good one, also because I'm feeling pretty stoned after a small joint, so I guess THC level is pretty high.

Last seeds I sprouted were superskunk, sensi skunk, skunk #1 all from Sensi and Tangie from Reserva Privada.

I found one Tangie full of seeds, but other 5 without. Each one smelling superb, not smoked yet however. Smell is very tangie and it varies a little bit depending on pheno but the main smell is that one.
Hope they will keep it strong also when smoked.

About the skunk...wtf how many different phenos I found. Not about the smell but about flower's shape, flowering time, resin...I wouldn't expect that much difference but hey it's ok. About the smell nothing impressive overall. Will see if smoking I'll find some good terps around but I doubt...so basically and most probably 30 seeds from Sensi sprouted and nothing really to keep at now.

13 seeds of Tangie and 5 possible keeper to choose between. I also kept 4 males as I want to try some crosses with the moms I have.

Here all together at mid flowering, a little too yellow for the small pots

Wow man!
Good Job!:canabis:

Thanks bro :tiphat:

BTW I smoked all the 5 unseeded tangies harvested. Overall nothing special. The smell is superb, it's really tangie, milky and a little skunky...but when smoked the terps are not strong like many others moms I have, just one Tangie female could be a keeper to make some F2s and go searching for better traits in the offspring but overall I would not grow again Tangie. I was not so lucky finding a good pheno out of a single package.

Must post some pictures of the last selection run...Out of 43 regular seeds most probably I will keep nothing. Some good looking flowers, good smells around but nothing really dank, so basically I wasted 3 months and some work to throw everything....the previous selection run out of many seeds I only found one keeper...so nothing...just to give you an idea on how difficult is sometimes to find a really good keeper out of ''premium'' seeds and why a bagseed could be way better sometime.

Btw I'm waiting for new seeds to sprout for pheno hunting. This time I'll go with ONI and their tropicanna cookies crosses, some from Seed Junky, Mzjill, Mr.nice and some other possible nice strains from other breeders.

However here is a SensiSkunk (#4) and it's maybe the best looking one. Smell is something old, remember me of roses but I still have to smoke it.

This one is a Skunk1 (pheno#4) and like the last one I still have to smoke it as they are the longer phenos to ripe and we're over 75 days, so basically the sativa phenos.

The next is the same strain Skunk1 but a different pheno (#7), and it takes a little longer to finish. Out of the 4 strains Skunk1 is the one with more sativa tendency.
Smell is very similar between all the 3 strains.

One more Skunk1 pheno (#4) at end flowering. Overall small calixes, not so frosty and nothing special in the smell. It smells of weed, something undefined balsamic, sandal wood...but not so strong. As the others phenos most probably when smoked nothing really tasty will come out.

Next are Tangie from Reservaprivada. Other world about the smell...it's impressive sometimes how much they smells of orange/tangie but at the end I didn't find a good pheno. To have a better idea before thrash everything I'll grow them again in hydro very soon and after that i will have a better idea of what I can expect from a possible F2 offspring.

Tangie #13

Next is the best pheno about terps. and probably the keeper to make F2 seeds. Overall flowering time is around 60-70 days.

Tangie #5

Next one is Tangie #2. Nice frosty like the other phenos, no doubt on this. A little leafy overall.

About rooting cuttings I noticed that when eazyplugs are exposed to air, roots come out and can grow a lot more. Once they're moved in hydro systems or transplanted in coco they're faster to start growing again.

wow 43 seed plants, and one keeper. It must be so hard to track and judge everything fairly. You smoked each one, or you give to friends and use their feedback?

Im not much of a smoker but I enjoy growing, so I find it hard to actually try out all varieties and judge accurately. Happy Holidays and New years! I don't spend too much time on the forums these days, but when I do, and I see new posts from you I still get excited because I know there are beautiful plants and I still learn something always. So thank you, and keep doing what you do in 2019!

Even for a heavy all day user it's hard to truly judge a few different phenos while holding cuts till u see what's a keeper.

And the it's hard to decide with some plants with only one run. Sometime I have to run it a few times before I decide to get rid of it.

I hate getting rid of stuff, either culling or gifting, I'm like hoarder mentality with it, but I don't have room! Got just pick some and go with it till you find one you just can't get rid of.

Yo guys I hope a green new year for all of you :) and always thanks for the kind words :tiphat:

Let's face the reality...the last keeper I found is that sherbertXpl.cookies two runs ago.
I didn't need to smoke it twice...half joint and I already knew that one will be a keeper.
It has a so strong smell and even more aroma, two hits from a joint and the room is filled with some kushy smell.

That's what's for me a keeper. If I can't recognize a keeper in the first smoke...most probably it is not good enough to become one. I just focus everything about the aroma, that's why.

I usually judge weed with other people and always get their feedback. This way I improved a lot also in the growing side and I'm still learning for sure.

About Tangies...I still have them and I'm trying an hydro run to see if they can express a more powerful aroma, just because the smell is pretty impressive. About the skunk, I still have 8 phenos to try...the longer ones. Don't think I will keep anything but who knows...

Plants are awesome, they can change themselves adapting shape and internal balance and response to many external factors...where humans...where animals, in front of a problem just go away and find a better place. Plants can't move...they must be like this or they will not survive, they must change their own environment to survive so...are we sure plants are not so smart? Have you ever heard about acacia and ants? The tree can control the ants making them doing various things.

Have you ever heard about the ''drug reward paradox'' ? If we consider plant's active ingredients like toxins why we are encouraged to consume from our own biology?

Just to share with you something interesting...at least for me
