Hey Rob!
I must say I really love Mulanje she is the kind of cannabis that even makes seasoned tokers say what the hell was that! With a creamsicle honey on the tongue flavor.
I have made some successful crosses like Pineapple Banana bud,
which was quite wonderful and I did a cross with my Oaxacan Gold some years ago that was pretty outstanding, but unfortunately Mulanje still needs some serious work to be stabilized, of which I am keen to do someday. So in short no releases with Mulanje in the genetics, unless I can clear her up.
I certainly had no issues with my PBBs.It didnt reach out to me the way mountain gold did but i bought a pack to store away in my doomsday seed vault

I have done multiple grows of PBB and I also never had issue it was later generations of Mulanje that became a bit more unpredictable. But Mulanje pure strain is still worth growing just with a bit more diligence. Below is a short pheno of Mulanje that is my favorite

Green Mountain Grape, 2 month cure and smoking great already.

This green pheno finished early with the purple pheno and was the most terp heavy of the pack. It had lots of grape and wood near the end of flower and has become really complex in the jars. I get fresh bright citrus zests first, then wood/cedar, and then good deep smells...ferment/fuel, hard to describe, good weed smell. Leaves the room smelling awesome, like cedar/sandalwood spice. The purple has more pungent grape/funky smell.

This green pheno is one of my favorite smokes. Very strong up happy feel good high that lasts long (even with the short cure!) with zero crash. Leaves you feeling mellow and happy like you woke up on a sunny day. It has a similar 'no ceiling' high I get from Ace Honduras Haze if you smoke a lot. I rolled up a bunch and me and my buddy went to town last weekend and got high as fuck pretty fast. I think you could smoke this weed anytime and it would be great. It doesn't have any of the confusing/cloudy effects but you're still soaring.

The purple is a bit more introspective and might be perceived as 'stronger'. It doesn't have a crash at all but leaves me the same way Malawi does. Like your mind has been busy for the last couple hours. It's really good for listening to tunes or doing a puzzle etc. Very enhancing. The Green is my go to if I'm going to be around people.

I bought a few more packs. I'm going to have to hunt down a male at some point to play around with. I'd love to see if it could take the flowering time down on some Old Timer Haze.

Grape is an awesome plant. Grows big outdoors up here with low maintenance, finishes early, smells and tastes are totally up my alley, high is incredible. Real deal sativa effects and terpenes by mid september up north here is truly incredible.

No problem VM and thank you for your preservation efforts.

One more thing I forgot to mention was the bud structure. I love buds with this kind of structure. Dense and spongy but not to the point where you're fighting it in a grinder. Makes for the perfect joint or bowl. My purple phenos were a bit more sticky and tight.

Absolutely welcome!
I noticed the Purple phenos to be tighter also, in fact I kept a cut of purple and gave away my green cut. Mostly because I got twice the weight off the Purple. And not everyone appreciates the finer intricacies of cannabis, most go on looks alone, and that includes tight hard nugs. I guess they both have there place and am pleased that you enjoy both.

Right you are VTman. They both certainly have their place in this world. Ive met more than my share of users that simply cant handle sativas. They dont hate them they just get too anxious. I have a friends whos girlfriend took a hit of mountain gold and went complete whirly birds. I guess thats where those flashy compact indicas come into the picture. Some folks get high to get stoned while others get stoned to get high

what about PBB F3's ?
I'm just curious if that would be an option? because of these old F1's I'm currently playing around with.
they old stock, before ACE releases, had 8 seeds, all germed, got 6 girls, 2 male
so far all stable, under various stresses, revegs.

the vigor is fucking insane, once you let em lose...
4-5ft in 2gals when only flowering clones, straight 11.5/12.5
fd28 and I don't feed, only organic soil + stimulants (humic, kelp etc.)

now reading that there won't be any new coming, guess I need to be more focused on that repro instead of playing around so much for bud.
been doing so many seedy things lately, this time I just wanted a full tent of candy to pick from.

got pollen collected & stored, gonna flower some redundant clones bonsai style and be done with it.

Looking amazing!
And if you are on F3's and looking stable I would say you are well on your way to an terrific IBL In bred line. that should stay true and you can select out for your favorite traits, that's one thing I feel like I have contributed as a breeder to the community and I have admired in a few breeders in the past. Cannabis strains that are solid and breed true for as long as you are willing to carry them and they will become your own treasure through your specific selections and palate, giving you the grower, exactly what you are looking for your cannabis genetics, designed by you, with your personal tastes and requirements in mind.
Thank you for sharing!

I actually get a kick out of people when they tweak out on potent sativa, they need to learn respect, and just sip not guzzle, so just a half a hit? HAHA

Man, you're tearing it up as usual! :)

The Mountain Gold is curing nicely. The jar smells like fuel and fruit mixed with bubblegum. Really nice aromas, and the flowers are dense and sticky. Plenty of potency but not overwhelming at all, just a very nice pleasurable high with great sociable component. Might be my favorite from GMS so far. ;)
