No actually these GMG are clones from last season outdoors they were a good 10 ft tall. But I did up pot two mid flower that were starting to show quite a bit of off color on the water leaves. The LED grow lights really brings out the purple in the buds.

So I was starting to question whether I was using old glass mason jars I used for making homemade chutney to store my Zacatetecas Tribute harvest from this summer. Nope I just popped open the last jar and I know this one was a new jar and it too has that has juicy chutney smell wafting out the jar. Forefront of spices and tamarin, juicy mango or maybe apple, a hint of incense acidic and sour notes. Truly unique and complex. Connoisseur level weed IMO.

And no one can can dispute the day brightening aspect to this stuff. Just amazing work Vermontman.

Hey, you can check out the journal for my Zacatecas here if you want. All the details are there. Keep in mind that I don't think I grew it to its full potential - it was a bit of a half assed light dep strategy at 55n and I probably pulled it a week or so early. I didn't even plan to grow a cut outside but I couldn't throw it away!

2 Mountain Golds at 52 days old are both males. The more robust of the 2 showed at 4 weeks under 17 1/2 hrs. The stockier plant was confirmed at 7 weeks. Both have been under 12 for 10 days. I will keep the shorter one as I like how it behaves.

I have clones of 2 different crosses. Both are Panama dominate. They're small but are under 12 with the MG's. Will start throwing hairs in a few days. Pollen will be blown around in hopes of a good seed set.

Vman, I have more seed and will give it another shot. 2 healthy specimens regardless of sex. Thanks. 60's

Here's an update on a couple of Mountain Golds. Vegged under T-5s on a 16/8 schedule.. middle of week 7, day 47. I’m pretty confident one is female, the other is looking male.. I plan to go 9 weeks before flipping and will top soon once I’m 100% sure of the female. These are in Doc Bud's High Brix Soil. First is the suspected female, then the male and finally a top shot. Plants are the same size, thought the male seems a little thinner.

Both of my Zacateca Tributes are showing female hairs this morning.

I wouldn't have minded a male, but I do have Red Snake pollen saved, so I will definitely do a selective dusting when the time comes and see what comes of it. I am waiting on a Zipolite Oaxacan to show also and suspect it may be a male, so that would possibly be another nice cross...with all these cool Oaxacan genetics going I keep thinking of one more though that I need to get into the mix, and that would be Purple Satellite. Must start some this spring.
