That’s pretty funny, after the fact. I bet that got your heart racing a bit.
I’m definitely more interested in trying the Jamaicans again before growing more of the pck stuff. I only made that cross because I had some extra pollen at the time and thought why not.
I have no idea what the “Jamaican” seeds actually are as they’re just bag seed from my last vacation on the island I brought home and reproduced. Ended up with 2 really nice females and 4 males. Both females had an herbal spicy scent with a bit of citrus.
I’m sure it’s a hybrid of something but it’s definitely more sativa with no body effect and a large stretchy structure and thin leaves. Really great daytime smoke.
Sorry for getting us a bit off topic, those pink pistils got me thinking about that little project.

I'm very curious how she does! Due to the baglung nepali genetics, she may be prone to herm indoors, so you must be careful with the light cycle.. but I think u already know.. xD good luck!

So the Zacatecas that I started curing on April 20th… wow does it ever smell delicious now. When it was growing and first cut and bagged, it had kind of a fresh, slightly doughy sugar cookie kind of smell to it. After some cure time it has developed a lot and a bunch of lemon and a little pine came forward.
The bag of all the prime top nugs smells like some insane lemon cake now with just a slight piney backend smell to it.
I harvested mine at 10 weeks and as it has cured it has become one of the laziest most happy relaxed smokes I’ve experienced. Nice euphoria but with an equally strong “ah fuck it” kinda vibe.
If I need to kill some motivation and just chill out without falling asleep, this is just the ticket!
Next round of them I’ll chop at 9 weeks to see how they feel there but I’m really digging this cultivar. Nice work VM.

Some good looking plants being posted on here this season!
I kept two moms last year that I found in a pack of Grape (green and purple phenos). I got mostly fems from the pack and phenos were quite similar. There was one pheno that was super greasy but I mostly smoke flower and these two were near perfect specimens when it comes to ideal joint rolling buds with strong sativa effects and sandier trichomes.
I put these clones out 2.5 weeks later (July 16th) than last year's seedlings and the clones were a few inches shorter but they're taking off. I gave my friend 2 clones and he got them planted June 1st in 30gal pots and they're big bushes close to 6ft already. Mine are 3-4ft. Purple is slightly smaller than the green.
42N, organic coot type soil mix. Near full sun (sun hits them around 9 and leaves them around 6). Some training/topping this year. Last year I topped them once and left them alone somewhat and I had a handful of giant spears and this year I'm looking to see how they do with a few more tops.
Green looks a little ahead of Purple which makes sense since it finished 1-2 weeks earlier than Purple for me last year. I think this is the opposite to what Vermontman generally says in his experience with purple coming in earlier mostly for him. They're just under a foot shorter than last year and last year they finished around 8ft so it will be interesting to see where they land this year.

When you see life in purple, you become a bit like its bees, you have to gather the polen.
(spyrock hash plant x cookie f2) x PS , pure refined cosmetic taste, here the cosmetic cedar notes dominate the palate, friends say it's top of the range perfume.
Can quickly disorientate you if you have a low tolerance from the first taste.

Looks incredible, iced out sativa buds.
PS blends well with tools rich in linalool or terpineol to create complex, refined varieties that balance energising and sedative effects.
As PS can have strong notes of cherry and hop flowers, I suspect it is myrene-rich, so other myrene-rich tools should also work well
(Uzbekistan f15 x cookie f2) x PS, here unfortunately the traits of hermis appeared rather quickly, but I knew it because at this period I tested the PS f1 indoors without time shifting and that the varieties too inbred or s1 would accentuate the traits hermis.
However, I found pure women with complex notes of red fruit, honey, cherry liqueur and sweet wood.
I also found a pheno at 45 days that was not hermi.

Wow so many bud shots and crosses! How does your crosses compare to your original strains and are you finding the Purple satellite are speeding up the flowering? You went into depth on flavor profile which is great to hear. I am waiting to see how my Green Mountain Grape X Mulanje pans out.

Looks like your getting close to some grape blowout goodness,
And going by the size and plant structure you should secure a pretty descent harvest! Grape does flower out very quickly once they get going, especially if they get all day sun

The primary purpose of using PS was to use a male to reduce flowering time indoors. All the tests were done with a direct passage in 12 12 voluntarily to be able to observe in the final result what worked and what did not work. (with full knowledge of any cause).
Here is what I could observe.
The s1 and varieties that are too inbred or even too hybridized can bring hermis to your final results. For example the guawi from ACE (from a regular selection I specify) in the final result did not show any sign of hermis (35 beans are thrown each time) unlike the Uzbekistan f15 or cookie f2 which presented for some of the traits hermits quite quickly when switching to flowering.
S1 A5 long flowering 140 days (here 15 A5 x PS beans thrown away, overconfidence
) only one did not show any hermis trait, however the PS exploded the flowering time to 70 days. 14 out of 15 plants had a similar structure, one resembled the mother in the development of buds, I grew them taking great care to remove the few male flowers (not without difficulty), she finished her race at 85 days.I would point out that all the tests were done indoors, switched directly to 12 12.
