When do you guys start flushing coco for harvest do yous flush at all? I don't want to yellow out to fast seems the lower ppm she is not really feeling it in these big pots I need to bump it back to 800 base and 1000 ppm with additives I had fed 500 base and need more food starting to show signs 50 gallons of food every other day is no joke

Gg4 54 days should I add plain water to flush now or 60 days this coco run has been kicking my ass

DGGreener...be kind to yourself man, that run looks stacked.

At 54 days I would be moving to plain water if you want to get them clean and fading by 70 days:2cents:

not if you've been feeding as high as you say you have . in 3 gallon pots it takes about a week before the coco is flushed out & the plants start feeding on themselves . i would imagine in a 20 gallon ..... its gonna take awhile to flush out all them nutes !

Thing is I can get 200 ppm in one flush of running 100 gallons through is what I would do but I will run 50 gallons and let it consume itself when I did straight hydro it was as easy as 2 rez change damn how I miss that setup

DG nothing your doing makes any since but your crop looks good, my partner RJ runs high ph and does real well also, he doesent even have a meter , never has and uses coco and waters every other day in 5gl pots, treats it just like dirt and it works, go figure

yup.. that's what I'm looking into the upgrade lol.. gavita 6/750 flex.. and going straight hydro bucket method. 4 plants per light. and get those FAT ASS YIELDS of perfectly flushed buds everytime..

I found flushing coco to be a pain in the ass.. me personally I feed just whatever.. around 4 weeks before harvest.. I do that daily for a week.. and then I start the straight up flushing. which last time it took 10 days of straight flushing with 2 -3 times the pot size.. just to see some stuff start yellowing out..

I don't know what it is.. but with coco ive been needing to flush super early to get the fade and smooth smoking with a nice clean ash..

I don't understand why you guys have so many problems with coco & finishing a run . i don't flush anything ! i just feed plain water for the last 2 weeks , the same as when i run nutes . no need to flush anything if you feed light enough ..... :dunno:

the only time you ever need to flush coco is if the PH has gone outa whack or you've over fed to the point the plants look like shit . then you just flush it out with a lower dose of nutes at the correct PH to reset the coco ..... thats it ! any other time you feed either nutes or plain water (at the finish only !!!) till you get a little runoff .

& plain water feeds is NOT called flushing ! its called leaching !!! thats where alot of people get confused , use the right terminology for what your doing please !

I do the same thing with great results. 1/4 strength feed for the last 10 days before chop. My joints all burn a white ash, my buds always taste clean and burn smooth, even with no cure. Crazy how many different ways there are for success in coco tho. Did anyone see the jungleboyz post on ig about ec and wc behavior in the medium basically proving multi feed in small containers was the way to go

:yeahthats what hammer said .

Leaching is feeding plain water at the end of the plants cycle instead of nutrients .
Flushing is pouring enough water (or low dose nutrients in coco's case ) into the pot that you "flush" out any excess salts build up . usually at least half the volume of the pot .
you never FLUSH coco with plain water unless your at the end of the cycle or you'll off set the cation balance & cause problems .
