Floramite, Forbid both kills everything.. These should only be used in veg. Mites on flowering plants its too late in my book. Treat and control before you flower.. Green cleaner says it kills Russet mites?

Up here in michigan a lot of people use avid and floramite, and most people don't bother reading up on proper application. I know a handful of warehouse growers in lansing that got avid per my reccomendation, then just made resistant mites by not spraying thouroughly, not alternating miticides, and not bothering to ph the spray or add spreader, so I've learned not to rely too heavily on either without a spray that's not used as commonly that hits different life stages. Of course always in veg only. 4.5g tetrasan/gal at ph 6.0 with a drop of safer soap has been my savior this round

Deez a lesser used option but effective

Lighter fluid all over everything. Follow with a struck match. When its done burning theyll all be dead. Only takes one application unless fire department shows up.

In all seriousness between all the mad scientists in here you got it handled.
See you soon and dont bring any RMs with you lol

Dusting the plants real good with DE can help quite well also... I had a plastic bottle I drilled holes in... squeeze it and the DE would puff out all over... but try to flower and hemp russets or broads will hide inside calyxes and be impossible to get after....

I use this for spreading DE. It can be directed up and under the plant. It makes a nice fine dust. It gets everywhere.

This is before it is used.

Here is a picture of the dust cloud it makes when used.

I turn the fans off and give it a few cranks. Does not take much to get it like above. Just where a mask when using it. It is silica dust and is bad on your lungs. But it is not toxic if eaten or touched.

It's day 57 for this Glue in scrog and I cut the top of plant today. This was under my new CXB3590 light and the buds are rock hard and extremely sticky.

Any drysifters or bubble bag users do an all GG run and figure out where the bulk of the heads end up? I've only done dry ice keeping everything under 160mc with no further seperation.

And on the DE topic, how's that DE look? I have a 50lb bag from the feed store but it threw me off a little bc it's more of a dark grey sand compared to the chalk like dust that I would get buying safer brand (non food grade)

LMAO, Merry Xmas....

It's been years and years since I had any mites.. I do see some Thrips on occasion. Those are gone in 1 application of Spinosad. My Veg room is exposed to outside these are something I will have to deal with. I get Prying mantis here all the time. I leave them outside. Many larger bugs have smaller ones on there body's. Mites are carried by other large bugs.

My buddy had the russet mites now, too. First time ever in 20 years, thankfully I've not seen them at my place even though we share clones. But I'm sure they may show themselves.

Avid
Forbid 4f
Pylon

I relayed the info about the ogbw, but I'm skeptical, but another product added to stop them is OK with me.

On rotation. There's no organic method to get rid of them fast (and by fast I mean months using the nasty stuff). If you don't wanna use the nasty stuff, probably shut down the grow and move. Jmo

Russet mite damage from about a week earlier it was healthy looking cookie plant. Fuck bugs. And don't think you'll kill them with organic means, unless you're willing to spray 2x a day for the rest of your life :( throw every nuclear thing you can at them (in veg of course) and try to salvage what you can in flower.

Oh, and my buddy just ordered something from Italy they use for grapes, but it's not sold here. Can't remember the name. Expensive shit. All of it is really expensive, he just spent about a grand on shit to kill them to save genetics. But in the end it's worth it. Hope this info helps save your stuff.

You can literally knock out a HRM infestation in veg using nothing but Sulphur/Neem/Ic3 essentria oil. There's way too much reading material on Icmag for posting bullshit like that. I understand if you have a massive grow or rely on it for money it can be alarming, but this is IC we should have all digested the info posted on the old Broad Mite thread by now.. That is not by any means a jab at you Whadeez, I disagree that organic controls are ineffective, and Avid should be the last thing to use as mite populations worldwide have developed avamectin tolerance.

IME russets are only mildy more difficult to destroy than spider mites. They can damage cuts so I've heard, but I've taken plants from the deepest degrees of broad mite infestation and turned them into healthy trees..
