kontos, pylon, and phantom seem to have proven most effective on those specifically...

now as for chemical halflives or safety of those products, I couldnt tell you... do your homework.

I just researched the insect itself...

Have you been dealing with them, c4?

I have been lucky enough not to see them, even though my next door neighbor was infected about a year ago.

on a uc davis page about them they recommended only 2 things; sulfur and avid...been hearing a lot of people say avid actually. this may be the first time in my growing career that I may be forced to use it...might even throw the kitchen sink at em too. obsoleet said that avid followed by tetrasan ovacide and another dose of avid to finish em off got rid of them for good...mighty wash/heat treatment on plants in flower, I dunno this shit sucks though...my bad to take things off topic, but I figured I'd get some solid advice pretty quick in here lol so thanks everyone.

my recent chop of glue tested @ 26.9% thc and 0.6% cbd...i honestly thought it was gonna go a little higher lol

How do you guys get your rooms that hot?/

Just turn off fans / AC and turn on your lights. All my rooms use the Gavita controllers, so I start with the lights at 80%-100% to get initial temperatures up. Once it breaks 100F I start slowly ramping the lights down so it just maintains the temperature instead of getting hotter. I'll ramp them all the way down to 50% once it reaches 115F so it climbs slowly and I'll just monitor it closely.

This method has been thrown into my preventative regiments, even if the room is empty between runs, just to be safe :tiphat:

one thing nobody mentioned about killing mites is the cleaning of the room itself after harvest . i spray everything & i mean everything , down with 70% ISO . it disipates in minutes , leaves no oily residue like bleach & other things do , & it sux any living thing in the room DRY !!! eggs & all .no living critter can or will live through that ! its how i've gotten rid of them completely 3 different times . hit all the pots , trays , walls crevises .... everything !!!

just make sure of no open flames lol

plants get Avid in veg & NoMites organic in flower .

Use a respirator if spraying iso it is really really really bad to breathe that stuff in, even has a warning on the bottle not to inhale.

I know this is completely off topic; BUT, do any of you guys have experience killing Hemp Russet Mites? I know, I'm FUCKED right? LOL
check out green cleaner its soybean oil and isopropyl alcohol and explodes them, can be used up until harvest...only used it once on some valley girls that somehow had mites in week 6, after spraying you can see that they liquify and turn to jelly...invest in an atomizer sprayer if you dont have one those hudson sprayers just dont cut it when u need saturation...if youre early phantom at 1-2mls is another option

I did get hemp russets in on a clone...
I used kontos at its weakest foliar dilution and never did a soil drench. 3x a week for 2 months.
I treated my finished veg that was ready to flip.
I then cut new clones and removed all plant material from the room.
I treated the clones once more at about 5 inches tall and started my veg all over again with those.
I then released 125,000 predatory mites and 500 Rove beetles to hunt down anything that was left in my 5'x5' walk in closet

Job done. I did lose a fully finished veg, but I got rid of the pests quite rapidly.

i to have had good results with Green Cleaner and spider mites not russet mites though. The best thing about Green Cleaner is the mites cant build immunity to it so no need to use different sprays.

Pretty sure Avid kills everything.
Not spider mite eggs, hence the tetrasan and kontos

I can vouch for the avid tetrasan combo, I didn't even follow up with avid a second time, drenched kontos, done. No more fuckin mites

Floramite, Forbid both kills everything.. These should only be used in veg. Mites on flowering plants its too late in my book. Treat and control before you flower.. Green cleaner says it kills Russet mites?

Dusting the plants real good with DE can help quite well also... I had a plastic bottle I drilled holes in... squeeze it and the DE would puff out all over... but try to flower and hemp russets or broads will hide inside calyxes and be impossible to get after....
