@ya,

very nice buds! Did you had cold nights?
You have spider mites. Never place those plants inside next to other plants or you will have a major problem.

Hey thanks, the night temps are not to different here in So. California from the day, I have two pheno's one stays green and the other turns purple, the green is intense but I feel I am more in control with the green one, but the purple is very intense and make me just want to sit down for a moment and get control of myself again, and yes a couple of months cure can make this strain even stronger....and as far as these damn mites (broad) I can keep them under control indoors but the outdoors they are hard to control for me and my neighbor, they love this dry and humid climate.

Hello friends!

I will show my golden tiger , although I am a little ashamed with all the wonders I've experienced from you guys ,so be gentle please, it's just my third grow and my first real sativa.I'm pretty sure I didn't feed her properly, being afraid that I would burn her!

What about the pheno? It's very fluffy, with very narrow leaves.More of a Thai influence maybe?

It was grown with 8 more plants in 1x1 with 600w hps.3 weeks veg lighting, switched to 12/12 on march 8th ,reduced to 11/13 gradually till she burst first pistils at around March 25th.

Sadly, I won't be able to keep her in the tent for more than 3-4 weeks from now.She has mostly milky trichomes ,with considerable amber percentage and also some black(?) .Hope I will get a decent smoke, even if i can't give her all the time she needs...

Right now she's under 400 w dual with only one more plant and in the last week she suffers temperatures up to 33 C ...

Oye Syd!
No bloody need to be ashamed!
A fine lady you've got going, that's no shame whatsoever...and since some of them trichs are amber, harvesting anytime now is no issue...

Ahoy commadante Guillermo!

I just wait a bit to see a little more swelling, but the temps are a losing battle...If I have the guts, I may try with 2 small LEDs (30 w each) for 3 more weeks.I will reestimate the situation in a week or so.

I'll take a small sample one of those days (I'm gonna change my evil ways ;) ) Gonna post some trich pics too.

Thank you for your help!

Hi Syd she looks ok mate 33c is not bad my plants regularly endure 39c in my grow in Australia they can handle it even love it with those genetics. Just do your best and learn I try all the time to do my best but it takes time to learn what individual strains need. Just leave her as long as you can and I am sure you will be happy with the results.

Hello Tangwena!

Love your plants, but more jealous about the fish!Great groupers!I dream of fishing in your continent(or in S.Africa ,too) .

This strain is almost a different species than all the hybrids I've grown, needs a lot of dialing in her needs ,but with the current legal status I will need a lot of time to understand her, being a noob at the same time.

I will try to keep her as long as I can(end of June ideally ) ,but there are other reasons besides heat that may prevent me from doing so...

Forgot to mention that she is on a 10.30-13.30 schedule a week now.

Trich pics(from various parts, first 3 tops,other 2 lower)

G`day Syd , Tang

35 for 8-10 hours is a lot different to starting at 20 and increasing to 30 + and decreasing again as the sun wanes .

Indoors over 30 for extended periods your very likely to have trouble .
Roots don`t like staying above 28 deg C for days on end . Again different out doors because things heat up then cool again .
Air conditioning or turn off the lights for a while during the light cycle to help exhaust heat .

It gets to 40 + in Summer in Thailand . Doesn`t mean I can grow indoors at 40 deg C ...

Thanks for sharin

Hello MadMac,

many thanx bombadil.360,
well i grow in organic soil for vegetables & tomatoes, feed two times... after 5-6 weeks and than in week 8-9 again... organic bloom with ec 1.0 - 1.2 than @ week 10-11 i give one time organic PK EC 1.2...
i use liquid fert from bac (BAConline.nl).
i use this time cmh light 375w vertical and after 8 weeks(mid flower) i add a second cmh 375w horizontal above the plants...
but i got also big bud's ;-) with 600w 400v hps last year... but this time they are even bigger hehe so conclusion:
This cmh works better... lower power more light and colder... much colder than 600w 400v hps.... looks like this is made for us!
light schedule is until week 4 12/12 than until week 12 11/13 and the rest 10.5/13.5... works fine for sativa...
my temps are with two lamps on 26°C day & 16°C night... +3°C in summertime... i grow in the basement and use the chimney for the used air(out vent)... so it works most time without a vent... also i use a dehumidifier because the basement air is too wet... so i can regulate the humidity like i need... in begin of flower i have between 60-70%, mid flower 55% and end flower 45%... this help's to get more sugar/snow on it ;-)

so Finale i would say it's the combination of soil, environment, light and nutrients...
and lot of LOVE

well lastly ... first time i grow'ed pure sativa last year i spend too much love and also feed way too much because of indica background... most sativa don't need much... i feed now only if i see it on the leaves... when they become more light green... than wait 10 day's and see how they react... most time they went to normal green... if not feed again... but never too much... i really watch my EC level and use rain water...

last: all credits for this gorgeous cmh light goes to tangwena (the fisherman and cob killer maker ;-))

i use this cmh lights:
horizontal:
EYE Cera Arc 375W E40 3500k Clear (CMT360LS/EX/HOR)
vertical:
EYE Cera Arc ACE Pro BT 375W E40 4100k Clear (CM360LS/PRO/BUD)

hope this helps :tiphat:

Good lord MadMac ,awesome work! You're gonna have a great summer, are you ready for laundry ?

Thanks for all the useful info too!A couple of questions,if you don't mind.

What light schedule do you use in veg for pure sativas and for how long? Also, the flowering time mentioned is from first pistils?I get that you didn't have any trouble reflowering with the PK boost?

Thanx for the show and all the useful information!
