The GT has dried to about 65% now and, to my surprise, is actually not a bad smoke. I was sure it was beyond help but a slow dry in a large container from about 85% has done wonders for it. It's not fantastic but it's comparable with other strains we're currently smoking
After hanging it I basically cut the buds into a large bucket with a cloth over it and tumbled it daily. We're in a fairly warm summer right now
I'm sure it will improve more over time now that it's in jars :)

It's starting to get a better smell now than just the wet grass smell and I'm sure it will improve over the next few months
Ended up with 180 grams and hopefully I can keep a continuous supply of something else for the rest of the family so we don't have to start on this
I would like to try another GT batch in the future but I will keep an eye on this thread with interest anyway and learn how to do it right
Cheers :good:

My female plants are spreading out really well, for the most part, they all took well to the topping/FIM attempts. A few I'm looking really close at because I'm not sure if they're intersex, as I see clusters that may be new leaf formations, not quite sure if they're pollen sacks, I'll have to see in a day or two if anything progresses. A few are really starting to show resin development around week 3.5 of 11/13. These are waaaaaaayyyyy faster than the first batch I grew, which took roughly 7 weeks just to get buds to form, these f3's are way quicker to begin flowering, a few of the thai plants are really lanky and need staking/support.
1 female and 1 male in particular. Both smell of berry/fruit.

That's pretty quick compared to mine :good:
When I do them next I'm thinking about going 10/14 like Peter_Matanzas
Seemed to work well for him :)

I'm hoping from these 16 females that I find one that provides the long lasting stimulating euphoria I loved from the 2016 batch, these are f3's so maybe the quick phenotypes are more prevalent in this newer version, in the 16' version I noticed the later flowering girls were the most euphoric and had the longest lasting effects, just looking at these plants is making me giddy with anticipation.

Looking good :)
I put to soak a couple of GT seeds, fems from the non thai dom version.
Hoping for good resistence to heat...
What is the minimum veg time befor switching to flower? They will have 20L of soil each.

Cheers

The more time your girls get in veg, the faster they will transition to budding/flowering.

If you start 11/13 at 15 days from seed, you will likely end up with a bean-pole plant about 3.5 months later.
if you start 11/13 around day 45-50 you can expect flower times of about 13 weeks maybe a little more and you can top them and get them to bush out during the veg stage to boost yield.

It's a matter of what you're looking for.

Also depends greatly on pheno, for example on mine, two of three are quite tamed but one is a bit wild and with a big enough container I can easily see it getting out of hand.

As Shua1991 said, I started them almost straight 11/13, maybe with a week veg if that, in 2l pots and replanted in 5l after stretch.
They ended up around 60cm (the two more tamed), the taller one around 80cm.
