It's cloudy, damp and cool outside this morning. MamaD and I are slated to attend a fish fry with some friends. I have to take care of the girls in a few moments. I took some pictures yesterday.

First is a C99 bud attached to the plant that is going to be cut down momentarily.

Then I will move the Gelato into the 9th week spot to finish flowering. She took on a little color from a few nights of grow room temps in the lower 60s F. This is the first run for Gelato.

Jackberry is a couple weeks from finishing.

I had a surprise during the week. Last Sunday I move another Jackberry into flower. I put it in the back corner by the Goji plant and went on my way. On Wednesday I noticed something.

Mr. Jackberry has been returned to 16/8 lighting for the time being. I'm going to move the boy out of the rooms and flower it by a window. Seeds are good to make.

It's a done deal for this Sunday. I moved all of the flowers one position and I swept the floor as I went.
The C99 is hanging at the top of the steps now.

The Goji got the chop next. It is heavy and hanging from a floor joist in the veg room for a while.

They're all in their places for the next week.

The Goji I harvested last week is close to dry. I smoked a few buds and it is much better than the first run. Larger stickier buds are the results this run. I cut down the Gelato this morning and it has "rock hard buds". It is heavy as well.

I spent some time during the week clipping flowers off of the male Jackberry. I plan to take it upstairs to a sunny window and collect pollen.

I moved a Hippy Slayer into flower to replace the plant I harvested.

Thursday we're going to my sister's house for Thanksgiving. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and remember what Mama said about religion and politics.

Nice garden buzz
Thank you for stopping in. It gets pretty sloppy down there in the winter. The old cellar/basement has water free flowing across the floor and at times I have had streams of water arcing out of the walls. El Nino is going to make it a wading pool.

That Gelato is looking nice too mate, mine did the same here with the lower night temps, didn't effect her much though. Hope she turns out well for you, I still have a fair bit of mine, have to take tolerance breaks often with that one, I get nothing done when over indulging that girl. Am currently running a wedding cake x gelato that looks to be promising, though very stretchy...

Most fans only go to 10, but yours must be better cause it goes up to 11!
My fan is the best there is. It is not like most fans. It really sucks!

I loved the video, thanks.

Yesterday, I cleaned up the Gelato that had been hanging for the past week. The fog and rainy weather humidified the buds a bit more than I like but I jarred them anyway. The buds are very solid, the smoke tasty, and a strong buzz. I left the lid off of the Gelato jars and put them in a closet for a while.

I gave up on the Wedding Cake cut that I have. I could not make her happy and we are parting ways. So many seeds, so little time. I crossed a Oaxaca with the Wedding Cake and I have run a few through flower. Promising but no keeper yet.

I have some trunks full of ornaments to bring into the house today.

There's something creeping under the floor down there. 1-2" of rain is predicted for today so the stream may turn into a river in a few days. It could be a flood if El Nino behaves like they say. I took the picture below last Sunday morning. I have not looked at the rooms this morning.

Last Sunday I cut down the first Killer Queen. I found enough dry buds on it to test with a joint. Hard buds and a good buzz with a a low stinky funk in the nose.
I think this morning's harvest is Animal Cookies x 88G-13. It's either that or a Hawaiian Blue Dawg cross. All I have to do is lift my butt out of this chair and see what's going on down there.

I had better do something about that.

I had my plants mixed up in my head (what a surprise), and I harvested a Hawaiian Blue Dawg cross yesterday morning. It looked like this after harvest.

The magic of photo rotation defies gravity next.

This is the first run for the HBDawg and it pushed up a good looking cola.

Animal Cookies cross comes down next Sunday AM. Two weeks out is a Hippy Slayer that's building big tall buds.

That was yesterday before the storm.

When it rains almost 3" in 13 hours on top of 7"+ a couple weekends before and there is no grass growing and the trees are all asleep, groundwater enters the rooms.
This only the beginning of winter water wonderland. I swept up the floors in both rooms before the rains came. I have some interlocking foam floor tiles on order. I hope they solve some water issues.

The three photos below are the flower room. It gets wet but not as wet as the veg room.

A small preview of things to come in the veg room.

See the weep holes in the cracked concrete? I can make water come out of them when I step nearby.

The weekend is here and that means more rain. A low pressure system is moving across the Gulf and headed for our house. Another couple of inches to come down between this afternoon and tomorrow. I emptied the rain gauge for the occasion. On the up side of the down, an order of interlocking foam floor tiles is supposed to be delivered today.

Pictures and harvest tomorrow. Hasta lumbago!
