What a body! I'm almost envious😂
I work hard to maintain my physique. My secret is religiously doing daily crunches. I can do 9 crunches in a row now and it has not affected my rhythm.
Current condition here: 73.8F and 99% humidity @7:27 EDT

I hope my gills are functioning today.

Tomorrow is harvest day for Goji #3. I am looking forward to a new flavor.
P7222445.JPG

Goji #2 is going to move to the Week 4 spot tomorrow. It stretched twice the amount of Goji #3.
P7222446.JPG

I trimmed up some chicken legs in the veg and flower rooms.

A table full of seedlings and clones are going to eat up space in the veg room before too long, but that's OK.

Sorry about the radio silence the past few weeks. Too many real life things to attend to and the summer heat have interrupted the grow diary.

Goji #3 is in the jar now. Squeezing a bud yields a slight pine note and a sniff of the buds in the jar is nondescript. The buzz creeps slowly and settles into solid stone. Not much flavor to speak of on the exhale.

Goji #2 moved into the 7th week of flower on Day 43. In the weeks since it was last seen it continued its stretch upward and outward in all directions. I squeezed a bud this morning for a sniff and there is a distinct sweet spice note. I hope this is the beginning of a licorice scent. A few more weeks to find out.

In the pic below there is another Goji #2 in the back corner. I will keep an eye on the stretch with this one.

Goji #2 has moved into the 8th week of flower and her flowers are carrying much more scent than Goji #3. I like how it smells.

I just came in to take a water break. I'm mowing the field which had grown up pretty tall. There are several days of storm and wind and rain approaching so I am knocking it down from knee high to ankle high while I'm high riding round and round 6 very sunny and hot six acres. A couple more hours of mowing then a shower and I'll have some pictures of the grow to show.

Mow mow mow the field
Every several days
Merrily merrily merrily merrily
Life is but a daze.

I was so close to finishing mowing. Then I caught a stick in the mower deck and shredded the belt. Oh well.

The flower room is a jungle of sprawling girls. Goji #2 is now in its 9th week of flower. Next round she'll have a lot more support. She's in the center with orange tape.

I had to do some bending when it got up into the light.

The long cola crossing in front of the Goji #2 in the first photo above is this week's harvest. It's a cross of an old strain called Stinkyfruit. I did an open pollination a few months ago with 1 male Oaxaca and 3 female Oaxaca plants all together with the flowering plants. Stinky fruit was in flower at the time. I called it StinkO.

I moved another Goji #2 into a corner of the flower room. I'll get some new stakes for her.

Another Sunday morning means another Sunday morning harvest. Today Goji #2 came down. I am holding her upside down in the first picture below. She stretched.

Before cutting her I posed her on the steps for an overhead glamor shot.
P9032471.JPG

The truth is ...she ugly.

With the first Goji #2 going through flower I hung her at the top of the stairs. Then I turned my attention to the Goji #2 currently flowering in the corner. Stakes and flagging tape all around for this one.

It's Sunday...
C99 is hanging at the top of the stairs now.
P9102473.JPG

I finally got to the store and brought home some bamboo stakes. Some of the female friends that hang out down there need a bit of support. C99 is definitely one of those.

Poor girl came all undone when the ribbons were undone. LOL

P9102475.JPG

The Goji #2 that I cut last week is dry and now hanging from a ceiling fan. I have to clean her up and stuff her into jars today.
P9102471.JPG

I'll put a bamboo stake or three around the Goji #2 in the corner.

P9102472.JPG

Last note for today...I moved another C99 into flower this morning.

Cable cutting went sideways for a couple of weeks. I finally got the glitches resolved on Friday so it's back to the grow. The C99 is jarred and a Candy Jack has been hanging at the top of the stairs for a week. I am going to harvest a Hippy Slayer this morning. A Jack Berry is next to move from veg to flower. I moved a Gelato into flower two weeks ago. This is its first run for me.

The temperatures have been cooling, upper 50'sF at night with lower humidity are welcomed with open windows. A large branch from the pecan tree in the backyard broke loose from about 50' up in the tree. It was over 15' long and over 6" diameter at the base where it broke. I cut the biggest chunks into woodstove sized pieces and the other limbs will be given to a friend for barbecue and smoking.

Greeting to October and a beautiful Sunday here. Leaves are falling, bluebird sky, breeze out of the northeast, and a high in the low 80s F. There will be some fuzzy photos as a result of fingerprint smudge on the lens this morning.

I cut down a Stinko this morning. It's a cross I did with an old strain called Stinkyfruit with a Oaxaca male. It makes a pretty plant and nice buds, but not of a buzz and flavorless. So it goes into the ziplock when it's dry and eventually into the Magical Butter Machine. Then it turns into chocolate chip sleepy cookies.

I have a new flavor entering the flower room today. Killer Queen is visible in the lower right corner above. She looks good on the overhead.

Friday evening it was a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater which was lots of fun, but I must confess to being clueless. Can you believe it?

The usual feeding, watering, and trimming make up the every day routine downstairs. Sometimes the garden looks ragged and sometimes it looks good. Things are going well for the moment. I cut back a lot of overgrown clones yesterday. Too much clutter and too little space is always a problem in the veg room. These plants can grow a LOT faster than they flower. LOL

Here's what the rooms looked like a short while ago.

I trashed a Wedding Cake and a Soul Mate yesterday, but not before taking some cuts to root. I got tired of messing with them and their overgrown selves. Taking them out made a little more room in veg.
PA262515.JPG

After filling some jugs with RO water I went over to the flower room and took some flower pictures.

Tomorrow will be 10 weeks flowering for the second Goji #2. The buds are bigger and better than the first run which is no surprise. First flowering runs for me are a learning experience. Second runs of the same genes usually is much better. I will let it go another week.
