One thing that you can't deny, our food has gotten worse over the years, less food more chemical and cancer rates are on the rise. No where did I deny or over look anything, it is about winning the small battles in life. This is one cause I fervently believe in, we all have the right to food that does not contain poison, if you choose to eat it that's fine but there should be options and labeling for those that don't

Well...that's a start. When you objectively come down off the bandwagoning we'll be getting somewhere.

...I enjoy going against the majority in these sort of threads. I don't have to even disclose my views to get the freaks frothing. I can agree with them....and it doesn't matter....most only hear what they want to hear...read what they want to read...and believe what they want to believe. Never mind...their information is slanted..incomplete...sometimes entrenched in one sort of propaganda or another.

Being negative and ignorant on ICmag forums just means not agreeing with the common theme the thread is attempting to express...in most instances.

I am growing tomatoes, peppers, and garlic along with the herb. I will also companion plant Rosemary with the herb because I heard it makes it stronger.

Right on Bombaycat, I think the rosemary thing is probably hippy magic, but what do I know, definately grow it. Things like that will grow just fine under the canopy, or in some side light. If you cant grow get a c.s.a. with a farm thats doing the right thing, real farmers dont use roundup.

Roundup is unnecessary for small or large scale agriculture. The farmers that use it are simply uneducated. Giant corporations have great advertising campaigns, and "teach" these "farmers". And yes roundup simplifies farming to the point that I would not consider someone that uses it an "educated" farmer.

My opinion, as well as most other "natural" farmers.

I don't think the two are a very good comparison, but I do agree neither one of them are necessary for a healthy planet with healthy humans.
