You ever hand weeded a 200 acre soybean field?

I haven't done 200 acres worth but as an alternative to detassling corn in Iowa we would much rather work the soybean fields de-rouging volunteer corn and weeds. Corn was too tall and less than three feet between rows to walk so it would be in your face half the time. Usually less to actually do in soybean fields as well. This was a good twenty years before roundup was out.

...what the fuck is even safe to eat anymore?

Organic non gmo food is the best option.

Non organic food, processed food especially is absolutely loaded with so many chemicals for color, flavor enhancing, preservatives etc.. that is so horrible for you. The organic counter parts do not contain any chemical food additives.

Chocolate bars for instance, if you buy an organic chocolate bar you will get real chocolate, if you buy a hersheys or reeses bar these companies have now started cutting the amount of chocolate used due to the expense of cocoa, they now substitute chemicals like artifical flavor and PGPR, reese peanut butter cups are even worse as they contain PGPR, TBHQ, GMO Dextrose, GMO cornstarch and partially hydrogenated vegetable oil.

I read somewhere 80% of soybeans grown are roundup ready, and 90% of the corn grown is roundup ready. There is also roundup ready canola, alfalfa, sugar beets, cotton, and wheat but I don't know how extensive their use is. Monsanto had the patent on glyphosphate until about ten years ago, now a lot of companys sell it and the price has almost dropped to 30% what it used to go for, at least the concentrated version.

Wheat is a dirty one even if it's not gmo they spray wheat crops with glyphosate right before harvesting to act as a desiccant after harvest. Somehow the glyphosate coats the wheat and helps it dry out without rotting. This practice is common in the US and Canada I know for sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if there hasn't been legislature pushed thru in the USA that absolves MonSatan against any federal lawsuits - SCOTUS judge Clarence "Why yes, that IS my pubic hair in your Coke" Thomas was chief counsel for them & has NEVER ruled against them in any matters brought before him.

Pretty sure Hillary worked for them too.

You must go out of your Way to try and eat food that has not been tainted..

Biggest problem with GMOs as they were designed to drink Glyphosate and Not die.. Being GMO isnt a shield that repels these chemicals.

All they will do now that this information is out.. is raise the allowed amount of Glyphosate until their next Pesticide comes out.

Your Gut Flora hates Glyphosate.. All the endocrine disrupters continue Feminizing men while packing on weight and killing that IQ.. Breeding Slaves

I heard that Monsanto already has round up ready cannabis strains. Their subsidiary companies are running all the medical crops in Austrailia and supposedly partnered with GW pharma.

Monsanto's shell companies have also been buying up testing labs in order to patent the versions strains via terpene profiling. Philip Morris is also involved.

At least that's the rumors I've heard from some respected industry people. Frightening if true. Stay organic and use seeds from small farmers/breeders!

Monsanto is untouchable, every news paper in the country could headline Glyphosate as the #1 cause of cancer tomorrow but Monsanto is legally untouchable and could never be held legally accountable.

"Hope and change strikes again. A provision many are dubbing the “Monsanto Protection Act” was covertly inserted into the Agricultural Appropriations Bill that President Obama signed Tuesday. The provision protects modified food interests from litigation.

The provision protects genetically modified seeds from litigation in the face of health risks and has thus been dubbed the “Monsanto Protection Act” by activists who oppose the biotech giant. President Barack Obama signed the spending bill, including the provision, into law on Tuesday"

We as a free people are doomed. The corporations continue to gain more freedoms and their customers/victims gain more restrictions.

Unfortunately the only way to fight back is with your money, you need to learn about the products you are buying and the corporations that are selling them to you.

We are making progress in this fight, last year Monsanto's profits fell significantly and they laid off thousands of workers. Their GMO seed and glyphosate is banned in many countries, we need to keep banning it.

The best way to behead the beast is to dry up their cash flow, organic food is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, tell everyone you know about the horrors of conventionally grown food crops and buy organic, we can win.

I've read about roundup on wheat as well, but this is one crop that really doesn't need it and I still question how extensive it could be. It naturally matures and goes dry pretty uniformly for one thing. The added cost for moving up the harvest window a couple weeks would not be cost effective because so little time is saved. Glyphosphate is considered systemic and is distributed throughout the plant after spraying within 3 days. It takes beyond seven days to really start drying and really10-14 to get any kind of browning to start. So you would have to cut off 14 days of wheat's maturing time to get any results from spraying round up, when you could have saved the coin and got the same results in a couple weeks.

From today's news

"Your morning bowl of oatmeal comes with a dose of a carcinogen, a Brooklyn man claims in a class-action lawsuit.

Quaker Oats says its ubiquitous breakfast food is “100% Natural” but that’s “false, deceptive and misleading,” because the company uses a chemical called glyphosate in processing its oats, court papers say.

Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide. The World Health Organization declared the substance as “probably carcinogenic to humans” in 2015.

The substance is used both as a weed killer and “is sprayed on the oats as a drying agent shortly before harvest,” claims Lewis Daly in his Brooklyn federal court lawsuit.

Daly is seeking $5 million damages. Quaker Oats could not be reached for comment."
