Please take pics in the dark ! no hps glow , no green lights ..... just the flash of your camera . do it right before lights on .... a few flashes of the camera a few minutes before they come on is not going to hurt anything .
it makes for much clearer pics !

i just want to really see them buds in a good light lol

:tiphat:

I'll pop my light off mid day for a few minutes for pics. Won't hurt, just imagine a cloud passed overhead for a bit ha!

when my lights are on at pic time, I just manually set the white balance. on my cam, go to menu, to white balance, put on manual, and hold a roll of paper towels or anything pure white under the lighting and set the white balance so all the camera sees is white. presto no hps color in pics.

Hi Aspen.
If you get the time one of these days, could you post a couple of shots of your tray run off collection system. I'm approaching the time where I'll need to auto water. I know you have a raised tray that drains into another tray that you sump pump out based on a float from a condenser pump. I think that's what you do any way. I want to preserve as much height as I can. I believe I'm not visualizing how much of a tray you drain into and how the condenser pump fits in, how much of a rise in the float is needed to turn on the pump, etc. Given the density of plants right now, it may not be a feasible thing to get shots of. If not, I'll go over it with you in PM when you have the time. And Dan, I've seen pics of your trays but I'm not sure how you handle run off, manually with shop vac? drain system? I thought I read somehwer what you do but I haven't been able to refind that.

Thanks for any help.

Actually Ona it's not that complex, my tray is elevated and there is a whole low profile condensates pump under it.... Works great but it's a bitch to move....

pic#3 say's it all...

just look what U done built? god damn what a rare bird U are:kiss:

Star i have the plans for my next system ready to go...... just need to build it, It's going to blow your mind....... no scrog...... but it's going to be so i can move the staked plants around to tend them, and its going to be very well lit!!!! Not going to tell you more about it now...... after all a girl has to have her secrets.......

Yes great job!, I'm mighty jealous I must say lol! Gonna have to come up with something like that...

Bobbo i think a double scrog would work great in your tents, with this system and a little HANDS ON EXPERIENCE I totally control how high the plants can grow... for instance... I laid them all down 3 times supercropping right.... next time i will wait 5 extra days before i supercrop them the first time and ill supercrop them about a week later then let them go like HELL....... My light will go up another foot exactly.... Im finding it hard to believe people with 8 foot ceilings have height issues with this light....

OH and the other thing i wanted to tell you about the scrog.... you will need to be able to access at the very least 3 sides of it, reaching in there is a bitch if you have back issues like i do.... It would be worth a try to mono crop one of your tents...... using a scrog you almost have to monocrop...... Im sure someone has scrogged six different strains in a 4x4 and love doing it that way lmfao..... not this girl.... Anywho..... Let me know if i can help i have this SCROG shit down to a science......"building them anyway"

Ok Ona here we go .... this will fix all your drainage requirements wants and needs... I have a 4x4 inside dimensions tray. it has a 3/4 inch hole i cut into it with a 3/4 inch DRAIN fitting in that hole.. the tray sits on a 2x4 base with plywood on top there is a space that's not covered in the base the condensate pump assembly is in there,It is one piece, the tray sits on top with the drain going down into one of the holes on the top of the pump... the base is slightly angles so all water flows to the drain fitting, when the pump base has water in it the pump kicks on by itself.... It drains through a 3/8 inch hose through the wall into a bucket that i need to go dump now before it gets too heavy......

http://www.homedepot.com/p/VCC-20ULS-115-Volt-Condensate-Removal-Pump-554200/204481228

Its a little giant:biggrin: :)

I bumped the timer on the feed pump and it came on for 30 minutes.... that pump will drain a full res in about 3 minutes, i know this from experience....... that pump at home depot will keep up with it....... a drop never hit the floor....... I did have to swap catch buckets quickly to catch it all though......
