I got thoughts and questions for ya.....
WHY are you running through (2) 30lb CO2 tanks a week????? That is alot!!!!!
Do you rotate the plants daily or something? Just wondering how the side of the plant that faces the shelf does?
IMO, I would think those plants out a lil. I saw you said no trimming the bottom 1/3 in Vert Grows. How come? Even in your setup, looks like you coulda clipped a few of the huge fan leaves to let a lil more light and air in. No? Just curious.
I saw you were disappointed in your first yield. Man, 4.5lbs off 4 1000s aint bad. At least you hit a P per light. IMO, if you can get one per light, you are doing something right. I know more is possible, but for most folks, I don't think they see a P per light.
Questions on mites......
How long have you really had them and how much you think you spent tryin to rid yourself of the fuckers?
My best advice on that subject.....in between grows, dismantle your room. BLEACH and BOMB it. Take clones off plants you want as moms, and throw everything else away. Now take those clones and SUBMERGE them in a 5 gallon bucket of pyrethrum (mix from concentrate so you can make a hot batch).
Then put them in your cloner or what have you. I use an EZ Cloner. I have "dunked" clones and then put them in the machine.....rooted no prob.
Mites really aren't as bad as most people think to eradicate IMO. Its like fighting a war. Ya can't stop fighting when you see you are winning. Fight til the end!!! Now Thrips....they are HARD to beat.
Last thing....did you notice any pros or cons to the Smart Pots? They would have to justify their cost if I were to use them. I use plastic 3 gallon containers and they are reusable and only cost like 3 bucks a piece.

1. i'm not sure what was up with the co2, I was going thru 3+ 20lb tanks per week for the first 5 or 6 weeks, then the plants stopped using as much, and i only had to change tanks every 4 or 5 days. I would have used 50lb tanks but i couldnt get them upstairs to this spot.
2. the mites are not an issue anymore... i got clean clones and a clean room, (knocks on wood).
3. I dont think the smart pots made any difference... just stick with the plastic 3gallon pots and save $
yep its probably the same ... nice chocolatey taste, decent high...
anyway, i just set up my next vert room... same setup but i added another level. running Pure kush only this time... new thread coming soon...

you said your a/c is in the window, how do you stop the smell from coming out of the back of your a/c going outside??

smell was never an issue for me at this spot.... if it was i would just use a charcoal filter in the room to keep the AC from leaking odors..
real busy latelyv pulled 8 lbs off my last 6kw vert grow, now setting up two 3KW vert rooms and a 6KW stadium,.... should be a good winter. stay tuned.

How are you running 4kw plus an AC in that bedroom? As in, how is everything wired up? did you run a subpanel? do you worry about the elctric bill? how much are you paying?> ahh!!!

^^my electrician wired up a 40amp 240V circuit for the lights in the growroom as well as a 15A 120v circuit for the AC, electric bill is very high about 150 per 1k if you're not on CARE
i've completely redone the room, no more AC now, passive intake, only 3k lights in cooltubes, see my other threads
