Now don't laugh...but this is working for me. I have a homemade scrubber in my flower room, but not in my veg room, which is where my drying closet is. So even though I have no smell coming from my flower room....smell is still an issue from the veggings plants and the drying ones. I had the pinesol thingy hooked up for awhile....but it really is a pain. hard to explain if anyone did happen to notice it.
I was on another forum, and someone mentioned they use regular old charcoal bickets( for your grill) in an open bag, and it worked great. Now naturaly lots of folks disputed the claim. Then some people tried it...some even crushing it up and putting it in a vessel with holes, like a 5G paint strainer. I decided to give it a try. But I don't put it in my room....I put it where people may be, which is near my room. My rooms are stealth, but the outside areas around are not. I can honestly say...I just opened a bag of charcoal I had laying around, and put in at the bottom of the stairs. very inconspicuos. Works like a charm. When I open the door to my basement, and start walking down the stairs...there is no smell at all. It actually takes away the basement smell also.
How long one bag will last is unknown at this time. But I am very impressed to this point.
Just thought I'd throw that out there. Instead of flamming my post( for those that like to do that), have an open mind and give it a try. It doesn't cost much, and you can always use the charcoal if you want to grill some steaks.
Cheers,
SH
